    I'm a tech in the field for over 10 years and I can't stress enough how annoying it is when people record or hover over me while working, I haven't met one tech that is okay with it, I can tell that tech was very annoyed, no privacy I had second hand embarrassment. Also you stated that you installed a dash cam and routed the wires on that side of the pillars I wouldn't doubt you accidentally left it loose and now want Tesla to honor the fix sheesh. I hope I'm wrong.

    I had two experiences with mobile service. One was the 12 volt battery replacement and the steering box bolt recall. The other was my fifth year annual service. Both experiences were excellent. Absolutely no issues.

      Hi, I don’t have a service centre near by. So can you do your annual service using mobile service? How do they check under car etc? (I don’t have a Tesla but would seriously consider it when it comes to U.K.) Thanks

    I saw a brown Tesla up in Muskoka last summer. Everyone else in the car thought I was mistaken. I know a Tesla when I see one lol. I'll have to share this video with them...thanks :) It's nice seeing the Model 3 out on the roads...seen several out there. One day I will have one :)

    From what I heard and seen from some other TH-cam vloggers, aren't customers not allowed to film Tesla mobile service technicians while they are at work? I'm surprised he let you filmed the process.

    Its most certainly a great re-use of old of the older Tesla’s. The full body wrap and rear trays is great way of quickly turning it into a service vehicle. Also shows Pavlov the faith they have in thier older cars.

  • @DersimLondon
    @DersimLondon 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    1: they need a van to do mobile servicing, can be electric but a van
    2: Tesla should offer a monthly sub, you pay small amount and for it you get warranty and service once a year for your car when out of the warranty period.

    • @redxsage
      @redxsage 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is possible to purchase an Extended Service plan for Model S or Model X. No subscription plan though. Some U.S. States consider an Extended Warranty as a form of insurance, and do not allow any manufacturer to offer them to Consumers. Tesla is dedicated toward NOT using Service as a profit center.

    • @wadafruit
      @wadafruit 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I love your number 2 idea. A number 3 idea would for them to be their own insurance company for the cars. That will be even more awesome. I hate car insurance companies.

    • @redxsage
      @redxsage 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@wadafruit --Many States in the nation mandate that insurance be supplied solely by _'independent licensed agents'_ just as they mandate _'independent franchised dealerships'_ as the singular means to purchase a new car. So, by law, automobile manufacturers are not allowed to offer insurance policies or sell direct to consumers. Supposedly it would be a _'conflict of interest',_ but no one ever points out how it was a _'conflict of interest'_ for insurance compnies to actively lobby for those laws to be passed, locking out potential competitors. There are a lot of b@$s-ackward laws designed to supposedly _'protect'_ the consumer.

    How do I get a Tesla Ranger to come to my house? I am willing to pay, I just don't want to have my dead Model S put on a flat bed again, the car fixed, I am never told what was "fixed". It does the same thing again (all 12 volt works, screens black): It goes into a coma. It has come out on its own twice: Once in 24 hours, once after 4 days. Tesla Service passes my car to multiple Techs and I never get an explanation of what is/was wrong. It is dead again and it is not waking up on its own. When in a coma, the phone app can not connect to car. How do I get a Tesla Ranger to come to my home and check out my car? (San Diego, CA)

    you people and these cars crack me up. I so cant wait till they starting shutting these cars down just because they can. also cant wait for them to start charging by the mile to drive. these cars would be awesome if you actually owned the car, and I say that because you don't have control of the vehicle. tesla can shut the car down for whatever reason they want. do your own service work? well now you cant supercharge. don't believe me just look it up.
