- Beatles song John Lennon 'still gets hate' and calls it 'throwaway'.
When you're a band as famous as the Beatles, there are bound to be a few songs you don't like - like the song "Throwaway" " in "Rubber Soul" which John Lennon said he "always hated".
Ironically, Lennon was the one who wrote the song in the first place, although he would later say the tune stayed in the band’s rotation because George Harrison liked it.
Paul McCartney also held the song in somewhat low regard, calling it a “macho song” in Barry Miles’ Many Years From Now.
I can't believe that line in Run for Your Life came from an Elvis tune--wow!
You dont hear much from John Lennon these days. No interviews, or tours. He hasint made a new record in ages. Is he retired?
No he’s watching the wheels go round.
@@SuperGBarone What fucking Wheels? Are you for real?
@@SagaLarton you know he died in 1980 don’t you? Are you just being thick?
@@SuperGBarone Now, are you for fucking real.? John Lennon is alive and well. He may be retired because we dont hear much from him these days. Are you a thick 😅😅
Well, Elvis was surely a macho too so what's so astonishing about it?
