- Paul Rand is widely regarded as the greatest graphic designer that has ever lived. His work, teaching and books on design have influenced and impacted many of the design greats of today. His work was thoughtful, approachable and witty. Today, August 15, we celebrate the birthday and honor the contributions of graphic design pioneer and American master of design-Paul Rand.
The script was written by Ahmed Abdullah. The video was designed, edited and proceed by Jayden Nguyen.

Another great Graphic designer was Saul Bass,
his design of motion-picture title sequences, film posters, and corporate logos are still with us today.

Did you know that Mr. Rand had so much passion for aesthetics that he changed his name from Peretz Rosenbaum to Paul Rand just to make it easier and memorable
More like he changed it from a Jewish last name to a non-Jewish one because of antisemitism. Many people did that back then.

I watched a couple paul rand youtube documentary videos but i must say this by far the best one i seen so far. The pamphlet thing is such a genius move to present the product.
I absolutely loved this piece. I'm just starting to dabble into graphic design as a complementary skill to the main activities I do daily. I would very much like to see more of this content where you take a look at the current work of contemporary designers, how they were inspired by legends like Mr. Rand, and how their work pushes the industry forward.

he is legendary, learned about him at a young age around 1998, I was only 7 and then got to know his work more when I was in college in 2011 Not too many people i put up there with the phrase "legendary"
