This is a great idea, and it inspired me to do just that! I host a podcast (Titans of Type) where I explore the lives, careers, and minds of history's most influential type designers. Would love to have you check it out!
for new Designers that are trying to dip their toes in the ocean of this Artistic Beautiful world (im one of them) Chris Do is The Man, Thank you very much Chris.
I'm a little late to the party, but if you're interested in more content on history's greatest designers, I host a podcast exploring just that. It's called "Titans of Type".
You've given me an appreciation for Paul Rand I've never had before. Seeing his art and poster design, I understand his influences and respect how he incorporated them into advertising and brand design. Before this video, I never knew what the fuss was about. Please do the same with Massimo Vignelli.
Did you know that Mr. Rand had so much passion for aesthetics that he changed his name from Peretz Rosenbaum to Paul Rand just to make it easier and memorable
he is legendary, learned about him at a young age around 1998, I was only 7 and then got to know his work more when I was in college in 2011 Not too many people i put up there with the phrase "legendary"
Design to break Barriers not to feed the trends, the more I get into design the more I realize that am still far. Simply learn to understand and understand to apply. Now time to fully explore my full potential.
I watched a couple paul rand youtube documentary videos but i must say this by far the best one i seen so far. The pamphlet thing is such a genius move to present the product.
I'm an Urban Designer and I just got into graphics design and started to learn about Paul Rand seriously and I was born on 15th of August too, which is also my country's independence day. I am giggling like a child right now!
I may be a little late to the party, but if you are still interested in the legends of design, I’d love to have you check out my podcast “Titans of Type”. :)

Honestly i didn't knew who Mr. Rand was until i tried and tried to design my own Logo, so I went on google for inspiration, scrolled through Page and Pages of pictures and logos until i stumbled upon a poster EF. Clicked on didn't paid much attention to the actually Logo but what was on the poster, then i saw his signature at the bottom Google his name and Woaw! Just a small poster EF made my own Logo through Paul Rand explanation and inspiration. Thanks you Mr. Rand for inspiring me to create a logo. Thank you Chris for creating this awesome channel you inspire me to create beautiful digital art!
I was only able to get an overview of his work while in design school as it would have taken nearly a year or more to completely immerse myself in all the contributions he made-- thanks for this trip down memory lane so to speak.

Did you know that Mr. Rand had so much passion for aesthetics that he changed his name from Peretz Rosenbaum to Paul Rand just to make it easier and memorable
More like he changed it from a Jewish last name to a non-Jewish one because of antisemitism. Many people did that back then.
