  • This video is an in-depth comparison of the Upper Midland Products Juicer Bundle with the Aicok AMR521 juicer. The Aicok juicer is an "Amazon Best Seller" and "Amazon's Choice" with millions of juicers sold so JuiceFeaster really wanted to see how the Upper Midland Juicer stacked up against the Aicok! If you are searching for a slow, cold press, masticating juicer, this video is a great place to start.
    JuiceFeaster juices celery as the test ingredient because it makes an amazing juice. Also, many people have found health benefits from following the celery juice protocol from Medical Medium Anthony William. Celery is great as a base ingredient for many juice blends or great to enjoy it all by itself!

      @@terelllewis1753 hey Terell! Those are definitely important! Both of the juicers I review in this video are super quiet. They both make quality juice as well. Although I’d say the Upper Midland Products Juicer makes a little bit more pulp free juice which I like. Can’t go wrong with the bundle add-ins as well, i.e. recipe book, funnel, bottles, & brush! Do you have a juicer now and looking to upgrade? or are you interested in purchasing your first juicer?

    I purchased the midland juicer due to this review. I just made grades and ginger juice but I’m not troll the tigers get stuck I have to use a spoon or knife to pull it out. Hey! Yeah, most all vertical juicers have potential to clog when juicing ginger. One thing that I do with ginger is cut it into small chunks. This cuts the fibers and will help prevent clogging. I do this with celery, greens, herbs, etc. Also, alternating between ingredients helps too. Hope that helps! Thanks for tuning in to my channel!

    Hey Brett! Love your channel, thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience. I have a question... If we're getting a cheaper/lower quality cold press juicer (under $160), can the juice still last up to 72 hours if stored properly? Do the lower quality cold pressed juicers yield low levels of juice oxidization?

    • @JuiceFeaster
      @JuiceFeaster  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! Thank you! I’m glad you like my channel! Appreciate you tuning in! Yes, you can still store juice from those juicers for 3 days topped up and sealed in the fridge as long as they are slow, masticating, cold press style juicers. Great question! Thanks for asking!

    How about wheatgrass? Which one has drier pulp? I expected you will put the pulp on a kitchen towel to know the yield percentage or such. Thank you btw for giving info on vertical vs horizontal slow juicer. Keep juicing and keep healthy 👌🌹👌

    • @JuiceFeaster
      @JuiceFeaster  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! To be honest, I haven’t juiced wheatgrass on either of these juicers. Wheatgrass is very tough, so I’m skeptical how well either of them would perform juicing wheatgrass. Both pulps had similar in levels of dryness. The yield really is best determined by the volume of juice produced. Thank you for questions and I appreciate you tuning in! You keep juicing and stay healthy as well! 🌈❤️🌈

    I see you saying you use the Tribest Shine cold juicer. It says up to 10 minutes daily. Does that mean it can only be used 10 minutes for the whole day or can you let it cool down and use it again? I am about to buy one but that might stop me. Thanks and enjoyed your video. Very helpful!

    • @JuiceFeaster
      @JuiceFeaster  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! Yes I use the Shine a lot. It’s a great juicer too. If you’re juicing softer items like pineapples or melons, I definitely use it for longer than 10 min. I routinely can juice 6-8 pineapples in a row without it shutting down. If you’re juicing hard roots and fruits, carrots, beets, celery, ginger, turmeric etc, then 10 min is a good rule of thumb. If you wait a while, like an hour or so, it will definitely run again no problem, certainly twice a day is no problem too. It’s on sale right now today and tomorrow! 20% off! I purchased the Aicok juicer from Amazon - used it for a few months and loved it. Then the plastic exploded (extremely loud and scary) when juicing carrots... The transparent part and the green part exploded apart and made an almighty loud noise... When I went to return it I noticed the item is no longer sold on Amazon and the company that sold it has vanished and is no longer a seller on Amazon... Beware

    Hi! I don't want to spend more than $200 on a juicer. I do a lot of turmeric, ginger, celery, carrots, spinach and other green leaf's in addition to fruits of course. What juicer would you recommend? I don't mind noise, time, (I do like easy cleaning though). I just want a juicer that I don't have to replace every couple months and gives high quality juice. I was considering immediately buying these because of the price, but the minute I heard you say you have to cut the celery into 1/4 inch piece I gave up on buying either of them. How ridiculous! Imagine cutting carrots into tiny pieces, or anything! That literally means the juicers are dysfunctional. What a waste of time and money. Even a cheap fast-spinning juicer would be better.

    • @JuiceFeaster
      @JuiceFeaster  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The goal of juicing is to get the juice. On these specific juicers, chopping helps that aim. Every machine has it’s strengths and weaknesses for sure. These machines will both extract more juice than the cheap fast spinning types (centrifugal styles) that you speak of. The adage ‘you get what you pay for’ applies. If speed AND juice extraction are both important to you, I’d suggest that you investigate this juicer: geni.us/NamaJ2 It’s the fastest most convenient juicer that I’ve ever tested. Add whole ingredients to the hopper, close the lid and walk away. It chops, feeds, and juices on its own. I have a $55 off discount code for it.
