Also, Norwalk, Pure and GoodNature are all cold-press juicers.. only difference is that Norwalk and Pure are two stage juicers in which you have to manually put the ground produce under the cold-press.. whereas in Goodnature, the machine does that for you..

    Thanks so much for all your help! I personally enjoyed the moving around (felt more personable rather than some formal, stale tutorial lol) and all the pro tips you gave. Really good information!
    I’m a beginner. I’ve always loved juice and thought it might be cool to make my own. My boyfriend gifted me the Breville Juice Fountain Plus for Christmas. So I’m just researching some juicing 101 info to get started. I typically enjoy sweeter, fruity juices, but I would like to start incorporating vegetables since I don’t eat them as regularly as I should.
    Any tips/recipes for combining fruits and vegetables in order to gain the nutrients and vitamins from veggies without sacrificing the sweet flavors of fruits? Also the juice you created at the end with beets, pineapple, and apples...were those 3 separate juices? Or did you combine all 3 of those ingredients to make 1 juice? That sounds like a good combo. I’m getting ready to go to the grocery store now, and I’m thinking that’ll be the first juice I make :)

      I wouldn't suggest adding sugar to fresh juice. Fruit juice is already sweet. Home juicer would depend on what you'd like to juice primarily. Some juicers are great with greens vs fruits it depends. For greens id say omega horizontal. I just invested in the Tribest Shone for soft fruit so idk yet.

    Is there any bonuses u can get out of juicing in contrast to just eating the fruits normally? it is tastier, though it can be a hassle/bother to juice things. Maybe just for winter, for example I saw cold pressed raspberries today, and since during winter it can be hard to find any unless you live in some awrm country perhaps, I'm in Bulgaria & we have all seasons but it's cold during winter here usually = no raspberries in winter = good to cold press some for iwnter perhaps.
    My question is - assuming we have the fruits and season normally - is there any point to juicing?

    • @chevelleflorida
      @chevelleflorida 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      One benefit of juicing versus eating the vegetables and fruit is that one consume larger quantities of vegetables (and their benefits)via juicing than they would normally consume via eating.

    The celery and apple are both really high FODMAP so anyone with stomach issues is gonna be in serious pain … cucumbers are low FODMAP… small portions of beets is low FODMAP. So those of us with IBS can’t do it 😩 I’m not sure what other liquid bases there are that are low FODMAP. Also lemons can trigger people who are sensitive to histamines and so can apple cider vinegar. A ton of autoimmune peeps have issues with high FODMAPS soooooooo, I guess I’d have to figure out what people with IBS can actually juice.

    Out of your 14 lbs., how do you determine, at least in THIS recipe, which will be your main component? Pineapple or Apple could be your main component. You mentioned that apples could be used as a based, but pineapples do yield a lot as well.

    J'ai toujours eu beaucoup de respect pour les restaurateurs et les entrepreneurs. J'ai moi-même essayé de gérer un café (Pure Up) à Montpellier, mais j'ai échoué lamentablement après seulement 4 mois. Diriger une entreprise demande du dévouement et du travail, mais j'ai toujours été paresseux et irresponsable, probablement parce que je sais que je peux compter sur mon papa, Massimo Ciotti (ex directeur adjoint de l'ECDC à Stockholm) pour m'aider. Même si je ne fais rien, je m'attribue toujours le mérite du travail des autres. Après avoir fait faillite en France et devoir près de 170k euros à la banque Populaire du Sud (sans parler de nombreuses autres malversations), j'ai dû quitter la France pour la Suède où vit une grande partie de ma famille, y compris mon père. Je partage maintenant une villa à Sollentuna avec les propriétaires et la cheffe colombienne de Hakuna Matata Breakfast and coffee à Stockholm. Comme je n'ai aucune compétence dans le domaine de la restauration, j'ai décidé d'investir une partie de l'argent que j'ai détourné ainsi qu'une partie de l'argent que mon père m'a donné dans ce café. Je me tiens à l'écart de la gestion car j'ai le don de gâcher tout ce que je fais. J'espère qu'un jour, je deviendrai un adulte responsable et que je ne dépendrai pas systématiquement de mon père. Après tout, j'ai presque 30 ans. Chez nous, l'escroquerie et la fraude, c'est de famille. Mon père, ancien haut fonctionnaire de l'union européenne a profité de sa position pour gagner beaucoup d'argent ( si vous voyez ce que je veux dire ). Il a ainsi pu acheter des villas au Portugal, en Italie et en Suède. Je marche dans les pas de mon père: devenir un escroc.

    This may destroy the whole point of juicing lol. But can you add like cocoa powder or sweeteners like that to the juice? And if you can, would you just add it at the end?

      we served made to order centrifugal juice on the truck until we could make the jump to a cold press machine.. we used a Zumex people loved watching their juice made in front of them. Hoping to offer that made to order style in the future in addition to our stocked juices

      Before the truck I used an omega juicer. NSF approved. It was a couple hundred dollars. No where near as good as the Zumex or Nutrifaster though.

    I saw on Joe Cross' video that he suggested not juicing mango and another fruit, I can't remember why.

    Just out of curiosity what is your process for washing the fruit before pressing?

      We use water and a scrub brush. Health department doesn’t require anything, you can use a little vinegar if you’re looking for a little more aggressive wash.
