    I suppose the practical question is that the diaphragm basically goes down and up with breathing in and exhilarating. So I thought the hand placement was just used to monitor to monitor the proper inflow and out inflow of air so that you're reassured that abdominal breathing is being used not just shallow chest breathing. The point I'm trying to make is my impression here is you're doing a meditative imaginary pattern of breathing. I noticed you didn't tell on the subject to make any pressure any pressure movements with the hands to redirect breath just a monitor. So functionally how do you get the patient to do oblique and rectangular patterns of breathing flow with the exercise. In reality I'm not getting it. Will agree that abdominal breathing is very important for modulating the automatic nervous system and oxygenating the body reducing a lot of tension and pain symptoms. Would you also recommend checking the integrity of the phenic nerve C3C4C5 that controls diaphragmic movement. Perhaps manual therapy or manipulatio.to those areas ? Or visceral manipulation. Any abstracts from medical rehab and physiotherapy literature would be appreciated too test spirit of your methodology for clinic clarification of its accuracy. Thanks

    • @WingsTwoSpirit
      @WingsTwoSpirit 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's best to try it out, your body will know how to make if happen. My PT had me do a few different exercises like "breathe into your chest, breathe into your belly, breathe into your back, breathe into your sides". The lungs have multiple lobes and you can focus on filling different areas w/ breathing exercises. This is why because of posture or injury you can end up w/ one side of your lungs that doesn't inflate as much or one side of your diaphragm that is weaker.
      For the exercise in this video, notice that it's possible to breathe while inflating your chest or it's possible to breathe while inflating your belly depending on which you focus on. Each of those uses different muscles. This one is belly breathing. So focus on letting the belly rise when you inhale, then when you focus on exhaling slowly, you'll notice your chest rising and flexing. To go diagonal you can focus on making those sensations happen on only one side or the other.

      @TheDigglesFamily ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you saying the movement comes with each inhale and exhale? If so, I understand better how you would make the movements. I thought you were saying to make all the movements while holding your breath. If it is the latter, do you tighten and relax muscles to do it? Thank you for your help.

      @@randysingh3937 So I was doing that and my MD said there is a surgery but they have to use the splitters and it's like open heart. I didn't like that. But after a few episodes I was seriously considering it. I felt like I was going to die. So I was like there has to be a non invasive surgery and there is. My MD and chiropractor didn't know about. So I called Columbia University. And they confirmed it. Went to a few doctors and they gave me a referral to Henry Ford and they do this too. I'm close to Henry Ford Hospital. Any how in the time of my appointment, I was told that the tear they said I have might not be a tear and more like a stretch. Like a shirt cool around your neck. Well there is a difference in that and a tear. The doctor said there isn't same thing but I think there's a difference. If your shirt is torn it has to be stitched up to fix it. But if it is stretched the washer and dryers with tighten it back up. They won't if it's ripped. My diaphragm is a living muscle so if it's just stretched I think it can be tightened.
