@ScumMageInfa your vid made me think. Maybe you found way more than you thought you have. Have you tried beating the Eldenbeast after being charmed by Miquella? Maybe you found a secret ending for the full game...
@@ScumMageInfa I think Ranni is fine too. She is manipulative, but in the end she tries to let The Lands Between to their own devices, owners of their destiny, doing all she can to prevent any outer Gods from interfering and then going away, so as to not become another Marika

I definitely had a "are we the baddies?" Moment when i finally beat the boss... But then when you stop and think about what it cost for Miquella to get to that point it paints a bit of a different picture. I think Miyazaki always aims to convey a strong message in the themes of his games and in SotE specifically it appears to me to be about the costs and sacrifices inherent in seeking power, regardless of the motivations. One of my favourite sayings has always been: "the road to hell is paved with good intentions." And I think it really nails the story of Miquella the kind.
If the road to hell is paved with good intentions, then what is the road to godhood paved with lmao Honestly, in terms of world conquest, he has gone about it in the best way he possibly can, done every necessary evil in the most compassionate way he can.. I doubt we could really ask for more. Name a demi God or ruler that has done things more peacefully in elden ring--- I'll wait 😂
The whole dlc I was asking WHO ARE YOU? why are we fighting? To about half the bosses. I was in the post game too so when I got to Messmer I was thinking, bro I'm here to pardon you and relieve you of your post. Let me help you finish those damn Hornsent off.
@@ScumMageInfa you're totally right. But I'm not sure it matters? Even if Miquella's new order is governed by solid principles it would still be, fundamentally, build on the same hypocrisy as Marika's golden order. Countless innocent lives were sacrificed against their will in the pursuit of "a gentler world."
@@Pintash1 Sadly the prerequisites to world conquest will undoubtedly involve war, sacrifice, and immoral activity- Its the game of thrones, in Elden Ring, and wielding compassion as a weapon is far preferable to the other powers and ruling classes *Looks at jars*...
They could've put the cutscene of Miquella lifting the veil of the scadutree after the "heart stolen" insta death. I start to belive that rumour about Bandai-Namco rushing the DLC to Q2 2024 just for the profit, and given how the main game was rushed too, it would not surprise me at all if it turns out to be true.
That's the most tragic ending ever and I cant believe it lmao its too sad.... The veil lifting after that though, would have been A M A Z I N G. You're dead right.
@@ScumMageInfa I hope there is at least something new in patches and calibrations to come but I doubt they change the main storyline. I would've loved if they added some dialogues depending on the player's choices in the main game, I mean, how is Miquella calling my character "aspiring lord of the old order" when it has those three fingers burns and yellow eyes.
thats probably why they made it so hard and give you the emote mid fight, that way you will use the emote for some secret ending they havnt released yet or something

Has anyone tried getting their heart stolen to get the gesture without having to kill Radahn, leaving Radahn undefeated, returning to the lands between to finish the main game, and then doing the gesture in front of Marika’s corpse after the Elden Beast fight?
@@willowparker-ct3pq I've done that No dice BUT I reckon there is more to it IF anything like that were possible Eh maybe getting frenzy flame to cut ties with melina and then using miqjellas needle and THEN finishing the game lol
@@ScumMageInfa Seems like something that could be another requirement, yeah. I’d also recommend not doing Ranni’s quest, at least not to the point of getting the greatsword, so the tarnished isn’t betrothed to another Empyrian
They should really have a long secret quest line that have us rejoin Miqeulla with St. Trina to fix Miquella's broken great rune that allow us to get the Age of Compassion. And in that secret quest line, you have to fight a boss harder than Consort Radahn and Malenia.
I sincerely wish we could side with Miquella. People keep saying his age would have no free will but free will is overrated and as a matter of fact our free will is already stolen by the game because it doesn’t allow me to side with Miquella.
@blakebridges1030 THAT LAST POINT HAHAHA 10/10 PREACH! Ngl there is a low key "ending" where you can technically side with him (as per my last video) but it doesn't FEEL like an ending (probably due to the lack of remembrance, but since a remembrance is the left overs of whatever you kill, it makes sense you wouldn't get one) It's strange everyone thinks he is removing free will... I don't know when it says that tbh And ngl, given the hornsent and nearly everyone else in the game being low or high key evil, maybe they could use.. less free will 😂
@@ScumMageInfa people have always assumed the worse when it comes to Miquella. I think FromSoft leaned a little too hard on the Griffith reference with him. Just because he can and has charmed people doesn’t take away all the good he has very clearly done. This is probably the one and only thing I dislike FromSoft doing.
@Dressyone223 I was talking about you 😂, but forcing people to submit to you against their will is obviously morally wrong and subjecting the entire world to that is undoubtedly evil, despite any good intentions. Hell, it's not even like he's doing it out of true love or compassion anymore. He divested himself of his love in the form of saint Trina, and has no way to actually reflect upon the morality of his actions due to him also divesting himself of his doubt and indecision. He is a villain through and through. Like ansbach said, "Miquella the kind... is a monster."
we either save Miquella, or help Miquella but either way we do side with Miquella St Trina makes it clear Miquella is walking into eternal imprisonment and would end up like Marika. us killing him saves him from this fate and grants him the forgiveness and atonement he was seeking to create for himself and his family. but if we let him steal our heart, we choose to allow his age of compassion to go forth.
I think Trina is poison (literally) and if we side with her we are siding AGAINST miquella and WITH his doubt, fear and "love" . Poison and medicine are two sides of the same coin so... either way could be the right way to interpret it. Personally I regret drinking that wretches poison 😂
@ScumMageInfa Trina is Miquellas kindness and love It was her helping people heal with sleep Her sleep power i think was crucial in Miquellas unalloyed gold As millicent went to sleep upon it's insertion and it healed her to a functional state
@@sk8legendz yes she is love- but the extreme of it as well. You can love something to death (thollier, or similar to coddling parents) and love something so much- you'd kill it to free it. She was discarded because she was a threat, and something that could hold him back on his quest to godhood.
@@sk8legendzTrina is not Miquella’s kindness, Miquella has his compassion and is willing to self sacrifice for others. Trina rather kill himself and Miquella, and let everyone suffer. What’s kind about that?
@Ab-he4vf it's like... I get what you mean... BUT... That small amount of dialogue is literally a near comparison to Ranni"s literal end of game dialogue, which I am sure if THAT was cut, people would infer the same thing 😁
The main game story was developed after DLCstory was complete. Both the dlc and main game started development at the same time but main game ended up using Martins plot/ideas more
I mean... I'm not fighting it if the Lion General wants to hug me like that... This is such a good find, thank you so much for sharing!! What a good catch.
Great stuff man! First time seeing your work. Glad to see you don't subscribe to 'Miquella is the epitome of evil' takes just because the boss was the finale in the DLC. I don't deny Miquella's morally ambiguous 'means' to achieve his goals. But his age will truly be of compassion, not of mind control. If we, the tarnished, allowed him his reign that is. I'm working on Marika's past, Hornsent and Enir Ilim focused lore analysis myself. I hope you enjoy it if you ever watch it.
Miquella had great intentions, but as the saying goes, ‘the road to hell is paved with good intentions.’ While an Age of Compassion sounds good on paper, is it really the right thing to do, to take away everyone’s free will? To just blindly force them into following behind one person, with no qualms about any of their practices? It’s no different than Madara’s plan with the Infinite Tsukuyomi. Yeah, a world where everyone can live in their dreams sounds great, but the problem is forcing that on people, who appreciate the nuances and joy of life. Is it really an existence worth having, if everyone forgets what it’s like to live? Look what happened after Miquella’s charm broke on the group. They all turned against each other, and even realized just how much of his power is used out of ambition and selfishness. And don’t even get me started on what he did, to even achieve godhood in the first place… He brainwashed Mohg, forced him into loving him and, when it became clear that General Radahn wouldn’t comply to his consort advances, he sends his sister to kill him to force him into it anyway. He even discarded the love he had in his body, so how can one really rule in an era of compassion, if you forget what that feels like? Not to mention he was still following in the footsteps of his mother, Marika (and we all saw how her rule turned out). Ranni was the only one who was right: forget the Golden Order, forget how the Golden Order births new gods. Let’s give everyone the power of choice, free from any of the manipulation of the Outer Gods, as well as the newborn ones.
Hahahah right? If the road to hell is paved with good intentions, what is the road to godhood paved with? 😂 Frankly, for anyone to become a god, they have to do immoral things on that road or they will be CRUSHED by the world and other hugely powerful forces. Miquella did what needed to be done, but in the most compassionate way. In terms of him forcing his will on people, where we have direct evidence of that, where he "charms" us, he doesn't command us to LOVE HIM, just to have visions of only love. He doesn't tell us to FOLLOW him, he says lets go together. He says no one will be abandoned and no act censored, this is THE MOST generous thing someone in power could do- embrace the whole of it, with an overview and overstructure of compassion. I think malenia was in on the plan with radahn, and that is why she matches, as a signal to him that miquella has put everything in order, so now he can stop holding the stars (pausing ranni) and let fate continue. Hence why he made the promise with jerren, to ensure no matter what happened, if there was a draw, he WOULD die (as required for miquellas ritual) I think miyazaki has hurt y'all so much that you cannot see something good even when it's right infront of you 😂hhhh
@@ScumMageInfa oh no, I still love Miquella as a character. I love Ranni more, and I certainly see your point when it comes to achieving power. One does need to get dirty, in order to make things clean. But consider this, for but a moment… How is Miquella’s way of thinking, any different from that of the Frenzied Flame? Let me elaborate… Miquella desired to create a world of compassion, by forcibly causing those to become compliant with his vision. He has the power to bewitch anyone he makes contact with, so it’s likely upon achieving godhood he would use his power, to bewitch those into being of one accord. An accord of love. All is of one mind, with no more pain and suffering. No one left to object to this new age, because everything is one again. Is love truly possible though, if it’s being manufactured to make a feeling that’s reminiscent of it? How can someone rule with love, if they cast it out of themselves? The Frenzied Flame is the nihilistic stance on this world point. There is so much suffering, so much hate, so much death in the world. The best way, in those who inherit the will of the Frenzied Flame, is to burn it all away. All the suffering, all of the hate, everything away, until all is one. One could make the argument, with no one left to suffer, the world has certainly become more peaceful. I’m of the opinion, that living in a world without the power of choice, is the same way as not living at all.
@@jarrettbattle9295as someone who chose the Frienzed Flame ending, I have no issue killing Ranni and all the other Demigods because they’re all messed up on their own. The order that Miquella propose consist of transforming everyone into a puppet and Miquella will crush anyone that wants to rival him that means Miquella will be fighting an eternal war just to make sure no one can question him just the same thing Marika did with Godfrey wage war with everyone that can oppose the newly established kindly order
The road to godhood is paved with crucibles. Honestly, name me another superpower in the world aiming to bring an age of compassion. Name me a more compassionate was to achieve world conquest and bring an age of compassion in the lands between. Name me another fight where the enemy goes to the effort to try and bring you to their side and end the fight. I WILL WAIT.
When people talk about the bloodthirstiness of Miquellas's path, it seems to me hypocritical because we literally cut out all the offspring and others tarnished just for the sake of the throne.. Why is Michela worse than us? Why weren't we given a choice😔
This is great stuff man, keep it coming 👍 Honestly reminds me of my first run through Elden Ring, when I first saw the Elden Beast I was so in awe of its design I decided not to kill it on that file. So for that playthrough my canon ending was my character was too stunned by the sight of the Elden Beast so they lost their will to keep fighting. Now two years, many runs and hundreds of hours of playtime later on other characters, I still have that file sitting right outside the Erdtree, never having progressed past that battle.
HAHAHA I am glad I am not the only one with a save file that will N E V E R 'Finish' the game lol I don't blame you, the Nebula Dragon is actually gorgeous- It would be like slaying an exotic endling (Last creature before it goes extinct)- The purest form of evil lmao Thanks for the encouragement 🥰
I would argue Rannis ending is better as it doesn’t strip ANYONE from their free will. But not without faults of it’s own. I wouldn’t call either of them a good ending though, just less bad endings, which is par for the course with fromsoft
@@ScumMageInfa All im saying is theres two four-armed long-haired demigods in the game and only one of them lets you marry her and gives you one of the best weapons in the game 🙏🙏🙏
We could just misunderstanding some cut dialogue, it's entirely possible that this was actually just a unused version of the intro to the final boss, since he seems to specifically be addressing Radahn at the end, but I think it's far more likely that this was a cut ending. In the last few seconds of the SOTE trailer we see Miquella raise his hand and cast some kind of spell that turns the scadutree a brilliant white color, this scene never plays in the DLC and I guarantee this was probably a piece of the cutscene that would play during the scrapped ending. The only reason I can possibly imagine why they would have cut an entire ending to the DLC would be because it might conflict with the ending of the base game, but like I said in the beginning, Miquella specifically addresses Radahn at the ending of his speech, so you could easily just have Miquella and Radahn save the land of shadow and ride off into the sunset. In the base game the ancestral followers had their own unique cycle of life and death completely separate from the erdtree just because they lived underground, I see no reason why the land of shadow can't have their own natural laws that run parallel to the lands between if they have their own erdtree
Or it was difficult to work our for them out it melds with the base game Or we just haven't figured out how to prompt it 😂 I'm hoping and coping for the latter 😂
I hate to say it, but I'm really not convinced that this whole 'lifting the veil' cutscene was ever a thing at all. The Scadutree does not have a veil when viewed from the final boss arena. My best guess as to why is that FromSoft thought it looked better, as the veil in that lighting from the angle of Enir-Ilim could look a bit odd. I'm less sure on this part, but I think the last 2 shots of the trailer could just be showing the phase 2 cutscene from different angles so it doesn't spoil Radahn. The last shot especially just looks like a side view of Miquella's hand in that cutscene to get the Scadutree in the background.
Gonna be real, if they end up using that extra dialogue in a secret ending, it's gonna be after an update. Like, we've got dataminers finding unused dialogue. If there was a trigger for a new ending, we would know it by now.
I cant help but think about how during Ranni"s quest, you can find that discarded thing that goes into the puppet potion. What if Miquella's rune can be used for something else? Its hard to think with the oh mother emote, that let us go together is just for show Idk if it a clue or just random, but maybe somewhere a hand is reaching out would be a good spot for the emote. Mohg is the only person I can think of doing it to the withered hand. I don't care for helping Miquella, so I leave this to those who do
I wish there was an option to have your heart stolen and then use that emote after defeating Marika to summon them to trigger their ending if you didn't kill Miquella and Radahn. They would then usher in the age of Abundance/Compassion.
His Age of Compassion would be like his mother's Age of Plenty: glorious yet short-lived, and it will go downhill from there. After all, he would but tread his mother's path the same way how he went for godhood.
IDK, it seems like he is following in his mothers footsteps, but planning more thoroughly. Miquella is a genius, and has spent his whole life planning this- Not from desperation or trauma, but from compassion.
Sometimes i think myazakis plan was to make it so getting grabbed twice just played an ending cutscene but was worried gamers would get too upset that they lost their chances to fight him again As a rougelike enjoyer i always find perma deaths really interesting like those encounters stick in my head wayy longer than basically a deathblight proc
A rather interesting interpretation of these lines - others suggested they were supposed to be his speech in the boss fight. I still think bringing back Radahn was quite the asspull and do hope and cope we will get an option to side with Miquella or even become his consort - it was quite the twist of the knife to imply that you could do in the last trailer.
I will take what I can get 😂 anything is better than the hollow feeling after defeating the boss and being left in an empty field of petrified corpses lmao
Is there really a chance for Fromsoft to patch some new questlines in the dlc and add that cutscene of Miquella in the first trailer when he raised his hand to the Scadutree as a new ending? The lines are there, the cutscene is almost done, just needs some minor polishing, plus havent they added few quest lines after the launch of the main game? Diallos being one of them?
The fact that it just…ends is so disappointing. There should have been another alternative cutscene where you collect the fragments and restore him somehow idk. He seems so absent in this dlc like wasn’t he supposed to guide us? I remain hopeful that they might patch another cutscene in or smth.
I feel very strongly about this, I’ve thought about the same thing all my life regardless of what the means to achieve it would be. I can also see how Trina is the love and doubt that would get in the way of achieving that, not being able to bare the weight of the responsibility. The union of Radahn and Miquella also reminds me of a certain Buddhist symbolism, in which a wrathful deity and a compassionate deity are locked in embrace, to achieve perfection and a power greater than the sum of their parts.
I think the reason we can't have a Miquella ending akin to the Ranni ending is an unironic case of main character syndrome. The entire point of the game and the driving purpose of our Tarnished character is to become Elden Lord. Under Miquella's order, Radahn would be Elden Lord, not us. For that reason and that reason alone, we must kill them. A small detail I noticed in the dlc, the guidance of grace is absent throughout the land of shadow until the moment you slay Messmer.
@@ScumMageInfa nope, there is no guidance at all until you get Messmer's Kindling and light the bonfire in the dark chamber. Then it points you to Rauh, and Enir Ilim after that. My initial guess was that we are under Miquella's charm. However, on further reflection I don't think it's that because if so, it should have dispelled when he discarded his great rune, not after we kill Messmer. Maybe it has something more to do with Miquella's actual ascension to godhood? Like the Greater Will calls on us as Tarnished to put down the challenger, but it can only do that once Miquella actually is a god.
@@ScumMageInfa I did a bit more searching and actually found one other guidance of grace that kind of trashes my idea a bit. It's from the Divine Beast Dancing Lion grace and it points to Messmer, like you mentioned.

@The_Muncher2017 very fair- but they are also twins. The twins I know would do near anything for each other- both in game and outside of it. It's just speculation if she was charmed or not, so either way could be correct. Even if she was charmed, removing variables from the equation makes sense to me, so I couldn't blame him even if he did.
Oh!! New video 🤩 I have been wondering what might happen if I just, y'know, let it happen... Either RNG was favouring me or I was doing too good, because I didn't experience that grab for myself until my second day fighting him...
I think Radahn holding the stars still probably meant he found out what the real plan was about and so Miquella sent Malenia to send him... This is probably why the story progresses when the player actually ends Radahn the first time.
OR he was holding the stars to pause everything until miquella was ready- ranni, for example Malenia went there to signal that he was ready, and give radahn the fight he wanted (putting on a show for the greater will to hide true intentions) This is why radahn makes jerren PROMISE him that he will ultimately die, because it's a prerequisite for miquellas plan.
@@ScumMageInfa I'd like to think Radahn wanted out. Radahn's followers loved him even Miquella citing "good" attributes to his character. And Miquella essentially "capturing" his heart was by enchantment and subjugating Radahn is a very Miquella thing to do (like what Miquella did to Mohg). I think if either Radahn or Mohg got a whiff of Miquella's plan they would want out.
@lisan_al-ghaib and yet Freyja, who I would argue was like a sister to him (he recruited her into his inner circle, idk about you but my inner circle are like family to me) seemed to have no problem with it and believed it would in fact be exactly what he wanted. @lisan_al-ghaib but you're just assuming he charms -everyone- We don't see a crown above radahns head? We don't see his eyes shinning purple or pink like mind controlled ants etc in nokstella We don't see really any signs of enchantment, and as I said, his own inner circle see no problem with it, even knowing the deal made- as if it was even expected of him to make that choice.

@@K8theKind I'm going to guess all that is an in-joke on the channel? I don't really think Ranni is a "good person". I'm not sanguine about the fratricide, but it seems there was no other way. And besides, the Tarnished of No Renown is kiiiiiiiiind of a mudder-hobo anyway... glass house and stones or soemthing. The real monsters are those who choose Fia or Dung-Eater, because their endings are implicit in Ranni's, but without all the truly horrific consequences. The persecution suffered by Those Who Live in Death and the Omen is a direct result of the Golden Order, which is destroyed in Ranni's ending, so in time, those persecutions would subside.

@@ScumMageInfa I'm huffing pure Miquellum hoping that there is just something that hasn't been discovered yet... That ending cutscene of the story trailer makes no sense otherwise!!
it seems to me that we are not fighting miquella at the end, more just a manifestation of his will made into a god, he already divested himself of all that he was, and now he intends to ascend to godhood, i think st trina is more miquella than miquella himself in the story as of now, hence why i still think killing 'miquella' is the best way to 'help' him right now, the fact you cant collect his remains and restore him for a different ending feels like such wasted potential, where we convince him that his age of compassion would not have been any better than the other ages as he intended to remove all free will. i think his true ending should have been battling the outer gods with us and creating a age of free will and harmony.
The Voicelines for it were - Which match almost exactly Ranni's ending. In addition, it isn't out of the question for extra scenes to be patched in later- Such as patches entire questline.
Why does it sound like Miquella is referring to YOU as Radahn? It doesn’t sound like you’re listening in on a conversation, but like you’re being addressed by Miquella directly. Then he calls you Radahn? Were we meant to somehow become/have been Consort Radahn in an earlier version of the story?
After being battered, beaten and driven to insanity by god-like beings, Me: "I don't care anymore! Give me love and compassion." Miquella: "Really? You're the handful of humanoid individuals who came without much convincing... If you know what I mean." Mimic Radahn: "Who needs love and compassion!? When war is soo much fun! Love and compassion are for pussies!" Miquella pulls on the red hair of Radahn's golden helmet: "Did I say you could speak larvadahn? Shut up! This might be one of the handful of individuals who are actually willing to join me!" Mimic Radahn: "Did you just call me Larvadahn? You flaming twink!" Miquella rolls his eyes as best as a blind man can, He ignores Mimic Radahn and turns to this tarnished lady: "For your exchanged loyalty I'll do one thing you wish." Me the tarnished lady: "After the world is restored you must remain an indifferent god, everyone loves you but you do absolutely nothing for or against them." Miquella: "I can umm..." Mimic Radahn: "Hah, Little brother it seems you fell into a trap."
You actualy dont slay Miquella Only Radhan vanish into ashes, while Miquella just disapear, probably goes back in the divine portal (also wouldnt be the first time we win a fight and the boss doesnt die) And the shadow erdtree is still bathed in his light
Upon defeating Miquella, the "god slain" text appears, and only Miquella was a god, not his Frankenstein'd Mohg-Radahn. Furthermore, the Remembrance is called "Remembrance of a God and Lord" and literally has Miquella in the icon, along with providing the Miquella's Light incantation. With that in mind, Miquella is probably killed.
@@jeanmouloude In Rennala's case, the second phase of the fight is against a construct of Rennala that Ranni has created. This construct is apparently so accurate that when it dies, the resulting Remembrance is considered accurate enough to be that of the real Rennala. The true Rennala is never killed, just defeated and left in the library after Phase 1. As for Maliketh, we can observe from Blaidd's quest that Shadows aren't truly immortal, and Maliketh's ruinous proximity to the Rune of Death and his efforts to devour all of the Deathroot could potentially have destroyed whatever factor might allow him to be revived if killed. Maliketh never reappears in Farum Azula, or anywhere for that matter, implying that he's not still present in the Lands Between.
Ya missing the point the the MAIN GAME I know it been 2 years guys but we can’t side with miquilla cuz we are lord or king concert of another GOD. @@ScumMageInfaI will take the honest monster as opposed to the Lord of Lies, who's only goal is to attain more power at the cost of everything around him, including his own humanity, who preaches kindness and compassion, yet promises his consort "eternal war", who make's a blood knight tremble with fear, who abandoned his followers the moment project they were attached to failed. How can Miquella bring his desired age, when he sheers himself off his own humanity, something that would be required for it? Anti-Christ comparison is quite appropriate considering he is a Christ like figure but completely rejects his humanity in order to ascend, parts of himself that would make the description of his age genuine, not just an empty phrase. He presents the complete opposite to Gold Mask's solution to the ills of the Golden Order. Where Mask wants to remove capricious gods from the equation, Miquella's is to completely remove concept of free will from the world it seams and repeat his mother's mistakes by becoming puppet of the Greater Will. Which is odd considering we know from description of his needle that he is against outer gods meddling. If Miquella and his age are "good" then so is the world created by Griffith in Berserk. I've seen enough and I'm not falling for that lol.
While I still adore St Trina, reading a reference to her as "poison" in this comment section made me think of the weird feeling I got when hearing her cut fourth "cutscene". After Miquella is killed, she says something like, "Thank you, finally we are free" which to me sort of seems like she asked the Tarnished to kill Miquella so that they could be free, sure, but it also seems self-interested? Like, she will be free from the fissure and she will not be bound to the fate of seperate and discrete being forced to share an existence with Miquella like Radagon was stuck sharing an existence with Marika. Just a thought. I see her as a victim, though, specifically a victim/sacrifice made by Miquella. But, still, I want to believe that Miquella isn't the ultimate bad guy.
If she is 'love', then that ALSO means "love' for herself- So ofc there would be self interest. She is also vacillation and doubt I believe (According to the crosses), as well as love- All aspects that he would need to shed, all 'poison' to the self, that could hinder his actions.
@@ScumMageInfa I meant that clearly Miquella and Radahn weren't strong enough to be deserving of the Throne. A Crown is warranted with strength after all, strength of the body and/or the mind.
Thanks :D I've subbed for when the video releases
And don’t even get me started on what he did, to even achieve godhood in the first place…
He brainwashed Mohg, forced him into loving him and, when it became clear that General Radahn wouldn’t comply to his consort advances, he sends his sister to kill him to force him into it anyway.
Frankly, for anyone to become a god, they have to do immoral things on that road or they will be CRUSHED by the world and other hugely powerful forces.
Hence why he made the promise with jerren, to ensure no matter what happened, if there was a draw, he WOULD die (as required for miquellas ritual)
I think miyazaki has hurt y'all so much that you cannot see something good even when it's right infront of you 😂hhhh
@@ScumMageInfa oh no, I still love Miquella as a character. I love Ranni more, and I certainly see your point when it comes to achieving power. One does need to get dirty, in order to make things clean. But consider this, for but a moment…
How is Miquella’s way of thinking, any different from that of the Frenzied Flame?

Or it was difficult to work our for them out it melds with the base game
Or we just haven't figured out how to prompt it 😂
I'm hoping and coping for the latter 😂
I hate to say it, but I'm really not convinced that this whole 'lifting the veil' cutscene was ever a thing at all.
The Scadutree does not have a veil when viewed from the final boss arena. My best guess as to why is that FromSoft thought it looked better, as the veil in that lighting from the angle of Enir-Ilim could look a bit odd.
I'm less sure on this part, but I think the last 2 shots of the trailer could just be showing the phase 2 cutscene from different angles so it doesn't spoil Radahn. The last shot especially just looks like a side view of Miquella's hand in that cutscene to get the Scadutree in the background.
after getting the emote, hass anhyone tried using the emote wiliingly right after he charms you/
Gonna be real, if they end up using that extra dialogue in a secret ending, it's gonna be after an update.
Like, we've got dataminers finding unused dialogue. If there was a trigger for a new ending, we would know it by now.
I cant help but think about how during Ranni"s quest, you can find that discarded thing that goes into the puppet potion. What if Miquella's rune can be used for something else? Its hard to think with the oh mother emote, that let us go together is just for show
Idk if it a clue or just random, but maybe somewhere a hand is reaching out would be a good spot for the emote. Mohg is the only person I can think of doing it to the withered hand.
I don't care for helping Miquella, so I leave this to those who do
First Ranni simps now Miquella simps.
what if you need to do a NG+ with this new emote and use it in battle against the boss or something
I wish there was an option to have your heart stolen and then use that emote after defeating Marika to summon them to trigger their ending if you didn't kill Miquella and Radahn. They would then usher in the age of Abundance/Compassion.

IDK, it seems like he is following in his mothers footsteps, but planning more thoroughly.
Miquella is a genius, and has spent his whole life planning this- Not from desperation or trauma, but from compassion.

The Miquella ending is where I uninstall after being grabbed and tell people I won

@@themightymcb7310 is it???? I thought it was pointing you to mesmer to begin with and THEN to where miquella is.

I think Radahn holding the stars still probably meant he found out what the real plan was about and so Miquella sent Malenia to send him... This is probably why the story progresses when the player actually ends Radahn the first time.
OR
he was holding the stars to pause everything until miquella was ready- ranni, for example
Malenia went there to signal that he was ready, and give radahn the fight he wanted (putting on a show for the greater will to hide true intentions)
This is why radahn makes jerren PROMISE him that he will ultimately die, because it's a prerequisite for miquellas plan.

The real monsters are those who choose Fia or Dung-Eater, because their endings are implicit in Ranni's, but without all the truly horrific consequences.
