Hi Adrian, thanks for watching! That seems like something doable in COMSOL, but it’s quite complex, and I’m a relative beginner particularly in disciplines other than chemical engineering. If you look through Comsol’s application library and find something similar in concept I’m happy to take a look.

Hi Osama, 👋 that’s not a licensing issue. That’s how it works because you didn’t buy the product. Do you go to a university with an academic license? If not then you don’t have an academic license. You can get a 2 week free trial from COMSOL sales.

Hi, 👋 geometry capabilities are documented in Chapter 7 of the Reference Manual, version 5.2a. Drawing concentric cylinders is as simple as drawing two cylinders and making sure to specify coordinates for them that assures they are concentric. Alternatively, you can use the "Layers" section of the cylinder settings
different materials will change the half reaction which is integral to the solution this specific module solves for. there is no simple way to do it. i have spent significant time trying this in the past.

I have created geometry for BOX PCM and Battery separately, my question is how to combine the two and become one good simulation, I watch your video and am interested in learning with you. Can 2 different things be combined and are there any tips, tricks or tutorials to handle this problem? here I send the results of the PCM and battery box geometry that I made to facilitate this discussion, and for the battery I followed the tutorial on the comsol blog, I'm not sure if this simulation is correct or not what I want to investigate is the temperature of the PCM influence to absorb heat from the battery... Can you share the tutorial and how to set up the simulation as you did? Thanks again, sorry for taking up your time and I look forward to discussing with you.
