    Hello, sir! Thank you for this detailed explanation. I even analyzed it with a cooling model, but I have a question in the porous-jump setting.
    At 27:46, the top of the gdl naturally divides into three parts, but it's not divided like that in my model. So I made the entire top side porous-jump, but it can't be analyzed. When designing a model with an inventor, did you design the top of the gdl separately?

    • @haveanicetime
      @haveanicetime  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello dear Su, you're welcome! In Inventor, each part was generated. Then theyw ere assembeled in ANSYS. The porous jump was the contact between the GDL and the channel. You should study carefully how to simulate the model you have.

    When you added coolant, output power was expected to be increased. However, current density decreased from 0.21 to 0.2 because of the loss of the collector mass.
    How could we cool and increase the performance on the same time ?

    • @haveanicetime
      @haveanicetime  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello dear Mohamed, it is a compromise between the temperature and the performance. Like the turbines, you can increase the temperature to a limit that does not destroy the material of the blades, the higher the temperature the higher the power output. on the other hand, we cannot increase the temperature as we think because of the metallurgical principles. The samefor the fuel cell, we care about the performance in the end, so we try to approach this from the temperature decrease and at the same time optimize the electrical performance. Study more about this point in the literature and see what you get :) ..Thank you

    hlo sir, i have a question. why r u running simulation only for 150 iterations? what if we keep it running for 2000 iterations, will it give same result?

    • @haveanicetime
      @haveanicetime  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello dear Avi, it depends on the convergence. If the simulation reaches the convergence and the solution does not change after a certain number of iterations, no need to consume time. Also, it depends on the residuals. The lower the residuals, the more time consumed. 0.001 consumes less time than 0.0001. Anyway, it depends on the change in the final results. You can run more iterations but if the convergence is reached, the software may stop automatically even if you set the iterations to a higher value. Danke!

Following your steps in the tutorial video, i observed that you assigned 2 names for one specific part of the cathode channel (tab - a and outlet - cathode). The error message i get is ''The mesh file exporter does not support overlapping geometry in named selections. Please resolve the issue and try again.'' Please how come you never had this error in your simulation having named the outlet cathode channel as tab - a please.

    • @haveanicetime
      @haveanicetime  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello dear Willy, I did not do this, each named selection must be unique and only for one face. You thought that I used the same face for 2 named selection and this is not correct. Each time I name a face, I choose the face and give it a unique name. Only watch the green face I select and I guess you focused on the red one too and this is the source of your problem. At 25:30, I selected the top face giving it the name tab_a and you noticed the red which I did not touch until I named it as outlet_cathode.We can select many faces for one named selection but we cannot name different named selections for one face.
