Awesome video man! This car is just all around great car with an engine to die for haha! I have a very similar spec 2013 RS5 Daytona gray, so this really hit home! I would recommend a ECS X-pipe i personally dont have one(custom h-pipe for me), but they sound amazing and really open the noises up with acceleration and downshifts and most bang for buck! If you decide to get a tune i would recommend the JHM stage 2 ecu and tcu tunes which i have an really wakes the car up! You will not be disappointed! I'm excited to see your build for your car! So please do not stop making videos of it!!
Thanks so much for the kind words and excellent suggestions! I will absolutely keep making videos on the build, will have a new video in a day or two and I will look into your suggestions for sure! Thank you!
This vehicle definitely embodies one of Audi’s finest moments in producing a well balanced sport offering. It looks great, has one of sweetest engine notes, AWD and offers day to day practicality. In the video it was mentioned that the suspension has adaptive dampers. I was under the impression that the NA market got none adaptive dampers while rest of world received the adaptive dampers.
Curious how many miles were on yours when you bought it? I've been looking at one that is perfect spec but the mileage is at 85k miles, a bit higher than I was hoping for. Thanks in advance.
I usually put it in comfort mode untill the engine warms up and then i shift it into dynamic, all you need is a sports exhaust and its plenty loud, snapping peooles necks in second gear but if you want it louder go ahead and get a capristo exhaust
What generation S4? I had a 2010 with just a stage one tune on stock everything and it was just as fast as these RS5s. The reason is because the supercharged V6 made 50hp less but 50lbs torque more and the torque came in early and had a flat curve and that’s with the conservative Stasis tune I had. Dual pulley cars are faster than RS5s. That being said they don’t sound like this beautiful 8500rpm singing V8. The sound of these cars is incredible and with exhaust they’re even better. Also the 2 doors without window sills is great too! Can’t really go wrong with either but the S4 after market is bigger than for this 4.2. Unless you boost the 4.2 but that’s a lot of dough.
@@ivancliff2514 2014 S4, and yah I feel like the 3.0T is a good happy middle. Not paying v8 gas prices but still keeping up if not beating the v8s out there. Also downshifting in 4-3 and 3-2 in this thing sounds close to a v8 which is pretty dope. But yah the RS5 is a sweet car, imo if much prefer the A7/S7 as it’s a 4 door with the sileless doors and has a hatch and spoiler. Honestly an A7 competition or A7 will definitely be my next car. Just love the looks and curves on it
@@3.0T_Antonio Yeah man. I had the Stasis exhaust on mine (it was actually a factory stage 1 package) and the downshifts were quite nice. Now that I think an out it I had the mid pipes too so I guess it wasn’t totally stock. If you haven’t yet tune your whip man. I intend to tune my new one once the warranty is up too. And yeah my dream Audi is an RS6 avant but the RS7 is a close second.
I have both RS5 2013 and S4 2010 st 1 revo, in a straight line you can keep up with it without any problem! But in curves forget it! It loses you in less than 3 minutes! The S4 needs a lot of suspension and brake upgrades to keep up with a stock RS5 on a Track Day.
@@jenniferarce7507 You may just need better tires on the S? After all if it’ll keep up to the RS in a straight line and has BETTER weight distribution front to back it stands to reason it should corner as well. Especially with a sport diff?
When you first start the car it is always in auto mode even if it says dynamic. You have to cycle back to dynamic mode, it's easy to tell because if the car's not in sport it's not in dynamic.
Can two grown adults fit in the back? Im thinking of buying an RS5 instead of a TT RS.. From my eyes it looks as if its ok space back there, definetely better than a TT RS
@@AlexanderPews yes they can, I wouldn’t do a long trip with adults in the back. But they would be comfortable enough around town and things like that.
Maybe don't keep mentioning a SUV in relation to the not SUV your attempting to make a review of. You have 8 piston calipers and the rotors come from the R8 of the time. The carbon fiber on the interior is not related to the black optics package shown in the engine cover or whatever package it was called. The fact you have mods on the way but don't even know what you have is exactly why I didn't wait to buy mine before somebody like you ruined it.
Beautiful version of my favorite car of all time brother. Thanks for the excellent review...
I have a 2014 Audi RS5. it’s a Jack of all trades. Very reliable vehicle, enjoy it man!!!
@@datmann966 thank you! I really appreciate that! I absolutely will!
Reliable? Lol I’ve had the rear diff on it leak 4 times even after Audi replaced the seals
Wouldn’t say reliable personally…
reliable is a stretch
Had a 2010 S5 V8 back in the day. About to pull the trigger on pristine 2015 RS5, same color, black optics. Pumped to have a V8 coupe again!
Love the video and have subscribed! Not many channels with an rs5. Please post some reliably and running costs videos
sold my 15 and got a redeye widebody. I enjoyed my time with the RS5 but my god this hellcat is insane.
Great car not really fast for today’s standard but if you are not comparing it to another car it’s a joy the sound alone is worth the experience 😊

Go jackal tuned instead but everything else he said is spot on
I've had mine for a year now. Love it.

This will be my next car! Had a 16 scat pack challenger 6 speed manual. And a 17 5.0 mustang 6 speed manual. Miss having a weekend car!
Btw auto mode sees how you drive and adapts to that I believe.
I’m usually in individual as I tuned everything to sport mode except the steering

AWE Track Extreme is so good....best sounding car I have ever owned.
if this car came in a manual i'd buy it in a second

10:15 That right there, that's why you get B8 RS5
I definitely want to race one of these and see how my s4 keeps up with it.
Sadly I don’t think there are a lot or any at all in my city

275 ps4s square, that setup would make any car behave.. I'm kinda jealous 😅
This car was the last beautiful Audi coupe
Not the last, just the best.
Yooo whats the name of the intro track? That shit was so fire
Cheap sound mod is to fold down one of the rear seats

Just do an x pipe for the exhaust from ecs tuning sounds incredible
Supercharger
Could hear it better without that background music

Also why would anyone buy all season tires to then end up buying winter tires too.
