THANK YOU, SIR! I disassembled my weapon and could not figure out why I could not get it reassembled again. I came across your video and your information on the recoil spring assembly was dead on!!! I really appreciate you taking the time to share this information! 👊✝️🇺🇸
After many frustrating attempts to reassemble I was ready to take it to my gunsmith. Then, I found your extremely helpful video. The tips were spot on and fixed my issue. Thanks! 👍🙏
Man, thank you for this video! Sitting here trying to get my gun to go into battery after cleaning and yours is the ONLY video I found that talks about the dots on the guide spring.
BROTHER MAN YOU ARE A LIFE SAVER,I took mine apart for the first time and was pissed that it would not go in the right way, came across your video that save the day. THANK YOU.
This gun is my first gun and tonight was the first night I’ve cleaned it. I’ve put probably 300 rounds through it and thought it was a good time to clean it. I took it apart but putting it back together wasn’t going well. I had no clue about the recoil spring and the direction of the dots. I had mine side by side and was not able to get the slide back to the slide lock. I started to panic until I found your video. Thank you!
Honestly sitting there for 20 minutes thinking it was something with the trigger housing group nope it was this and never noticed it for some reason and I’ve disassembled and reassembled multiple times before.. anyways sir thank you for this simple yet useful tip👏🏼
I do have an interesting question that no one has been able to answer. I have a new sig p320 but there is slide moment up and down on the last round and during dry fire. I have sent the gun into sig and was told this was not an issue at 10 yards so they will not replace the fcu. This is not an issue with any of my other p320's and short of getting a new fcu, I do not know a work around. It seems the tolerance between the fcu and slide is the issue, and since the slide doesn't have that issue on the other FCU's that I have put it on, I am let to think I have a bad stock FCU housing and sig is refusing replace this. I again am open to thoughts and options

This solved it
Thank you I just spent 1 hour trying to put this dam gun back together
Just helped me out. Cleane the ole p320 x compact out and I couldn't put the slide back in right. 🤣
Do you as a habit, not lock the slide back before flipping the lever back to position?

Interesting question. If you drop the FCU in question into other P320 frames does it still do the same thing?
@TheArkansasGunGuy
Great question. Yes, I have three frames, and the slide still does the same when I put it in those frames.
THANK YOU!
