Thanks for this video. I've been on the fence for the Ruger LCP Max since it was introduced. I've owned the Kel-Tec P32 for nearlly ten years now and love it. .32 acp is very easy to shoot especially out of a mouse gun and I have the plus one magazine floor plate so it's 8 plus 1. It's one of the small and thinnest I've seen. The Ruger LCP Max has copied Kel-Tec's formula and regarding the LCP Max, I like the added 2 rounds and of course .380 has a bit more punch over the .32 however I have not seen either expand out of these short barrel mouse guns with JHP so it would seem good old fashioned ball ammo would be the way to go. Seeing prices around $330 for the regular LCP Max I then seen this new 75th Anniversary being sold for almost $80 less sparked my interest again. I am more of a fan of the all blue look however to your point at 7:50 makes a lot of sense so I finally order one this weekend. Thanks.
I just won the bid at GunBroker for the 75th Anniversary LCP Max and looking forward to getting it to the range. I'm thinking about taking it along with my Security-9 and my Max-9 to shoot against my Taurus G3, GX4 and TCP. Thanks for the video and keep shooting 👍.
It's incredible how no one on youtube mentions this, but the gun is absolutely unusable without replacing the trigger, your finger hurts bad already after one round, and after 10 you don't want to shoot it anymore. Snappines is not the problem at all, my Glock 43x is snappier. After replacing the trigger (MCarbo is the best), the gun is a joy to shoot.
@@vladimirtalijan Thanks for the comment. I have very mixed feelings about the trigger. I personally haven't felt pain in my trigger finger from shooting it, but I regularly find myself not fully depressing the trigger safety. For most guns I would absolutely tinker around with changing trigger components out but for a carry gun I'll just leave everything bone stock.
I haven't shot a bodyguard 2.0 if you get the chance then that would probably be the best deciding factor. The Lcp right now is a lot cheaper ~$260 and they appear to work great, but it's probably worthwhile to save up a few extra bucks if you can.. but once again I haven't tried a bodyguard 2.0 yet.
@@KandS97I have the LCP Max anniversary edition and became very intrigued with the BG 2.0 when it was released. I have had zero issues with my LCP Max whereas the BG 2.0 has had many reported issues regarding certain defensive ammo due to the 2 part feeding ramp. I still may pick up the 2.0 once the price comes down to at least $299 and the bugs are worked out.
$200 at Palmetto State Armory? It's $249 currently but with shipping, fee, tax, it was more than the $273 total I paid to ship to my FFL in Illinois. I too have been on the fence with this one since it came out. I own a Kel-Tec P32 which Ruger copied for the LCP seris and my Kel-Tex is extremely reliable and I wasn't sure if the the addition of .380 and three more rounds was worth the purchas but at $200, it would be a no brainer even though I prefer the original all black version.
Thanks for the comments! I saw this deal too on reddit r/gundeals - that site is fantastic. Here is the last time it was on sale for $200. www.reddit.com/r/gundeals/s/IO1H1r4orM
I love how ghetto lcp looks all black or 2 tone fucking love it lmao

Congrats on your purchase! I think you'll enjoy the LCP. I'm still taking it out to the range regularly and it hasn't let me down yet.

Pretty snappy but not bad at all... Lol. Been on the fence with this model vs the body guard 2.0

2.8” isn’t….. that tiny…. Right?
Some might say it's actually too much to handle.
Remember: 3 inches is a magnum.
@@longdongsilvers7700my tube fits 4 magnums
@@longdongsilvers7700 well…. 4.5 magnums.
😂
10-12 rounds decent capacity??
For a gun if it’s size, absolutely.
For a subcompact ccw yes lol
Heck yeah!! For that size is alot
