Kev you probably won't read this as the vlog is 6 months old but many thanks for such a long one. So enjoyable many happy days watching this. So much better than the other legends with their half hour quickies. Living the dream with you man.
Loving the longer driving sections being included again, it's a great cab view! Would enjoy those extra "just the drive" vids.

I used C15s for work back in the early 2000s and they are much better than you would expect. Comfortable ride, decent handling, good gearbox and engine. It is amazing how much weight they can carry and still function well too. They were better than some newer vans I used.
Another good vlog Kev, look forward to the new project. And no it doesn't hurt to say thanks for waiting, you are definitely one of the politest drivers on the road!
Kevtee love watching your video from the Isle of man. I miss this as I use to be a truckers buddy helping truck driver on there daily routine. I did 2 months of recovery service bit like what your doing for a scrap yard in Wigan then helped out on heavy haulage for 1month 4 weeks helping haulage firm in skemasdale then I did my last truckers buddy with a company which delivered farm vehicles to a warehouse in Haydock.
I have autism & I went to a special needs school which had a trust in experiencing children who had dreams which cannot be fulfilled.
I moved to isle of man in 1997 did my last bit of high school here & now I help out volunteering on a farm enjoy driving tractor around the fields collecting grass for feed. I also build rc trucks & rc cars.
But do miss the truckers buddy experience..

After "black ice" & "fun" I was half expecting Kev to demonstrated the Scandinavia flick with the Renault ;-)

If you made driving vids on a separate channel or playlist you could call it ‘A to B with Kevtee’. I do like the driving only parts as, like many, I’ve not been out driving a lot (700 miles since getting my new car in September) for many months and seeing different places is important to people’s well-being and engagement with the world.

Hence why i loved the info.
My own vehicle i drive around in at this moment in time is older then all the cars you have taken for scrap in the last two v logs for instance!😂😂😂

Definitely keep it on this channel and do just full drive videos to supplement the salvage ones, love having it in the background and seeing the scenery of the UK! Driving on the wrong side of the road is also strange to us from the US! Such tight streets, amazing driving Kev and very entertaining videos. Please keepem coming.
The Citroen Visa Van is a survivor, it must be saved.
Yes I thought the same. It would be criminal to scrap such a rare beauty. Those old Citroen’s run forever as well.

Your mention of late nights in Weymouth brought back memories of the sticky floors of the steering wheel nightclub.
Roundabouts were designed to avoid the need for Traffic Lights. Ironically, now there are so many vehicles on the roads there are Traffic Lights on some roundabouts.
Machine Mart does some decent sized tents ⛺ for the money.. so if the garage is full and you need some space to work on a car... check them out - a few different sizes too!
Love swanage we go on holiday almost every year down to Christchurch stunning part of the country
I really would enjoy the scenic drives. I would also like you to show us some of the Truck Stops in the UK both outside and in. Curious to see how they compare the US ones. Keep up the great job CHEEERS!
Not great Steve. Generally our trucking facilities are not very good compared to America and mainland Europe.

I follow Narrow Boat Minimalist, they have an alternative Channel "Minimal list : Maximum Velocity" where they show just there cruises along the canal, it works for them.
You call them Mountains/hills us valley folks called them valleys lol brilliant video and some nice/rare cars
I’ve really enjoyed all your videos that you have done lately. Yes I’d like journey video & it would be easier to keep it all on the one channel rather than 2 channels & if people don’t like them then they can skip them & wait for fridays videos.
Love the idea of ambient driving videos mate. It’s the kinda thing I could watch for hours lol. We live in Kent and every year we try to go on holiday to Weymouth - I normally look forward to the journey more than the arrival 😄

Those Citroen vans are still worth good money here in France, the farmers love them cos they go anywhere.
Yes and they are hardy little things they’ll run forever with just basic care & maintenance. My mate lives in France as well and he said the farmers live their old Citroen vans. So adaptable for multiple jobs.
I'd love to see some full-length videos, I'm in college and they're nice to do work too! I think channel wise it depends how often you'd upload them, once a week I'd say keep on here and definitely upload the first on here for exposure.
I would say if your going to do videos of just driving like you were talking about in this video then keep them on this channel but in the midweek like you suggested,cheers kev
I'll be happy if you carry on as now, the latest weeklies have had plenty of driving as well as the cars. If you do point to point drives I'll do as you advise and skip them. Your Winchester pick up was yards from my teenage home, and as you said the sat nav took you out the opposite way from where I'd have gone lol 🤓

Frosty beamer & I think you damaged the front bumper of the the Renault. I've spent 4 days driving my truck running the new engine in. I did my last job using my neighbours Mack. Its a lot of work but fun. Its a late 1990's Mack with an 18 speed. A lot different to my 2018 DAF. Proper old school.
I do like the odd Kev's scenic journey, as for commentary "ooh that's a nice motor", "jings, what's that numpty up to?" etc is always fine (half the time that's what I'm thinking, heck, sometimes I even wave thanks...) On the going into London front, does the Regie meet the regs going into operation in March? tfl.gov.uk/info-for/deliveries-in-london/delivering-safely/direct-vision-in-heavy-goods-vehicles - I know I've asked before, but it would be good to hear your views on things like the Merc Econic. That ST looked good, but then you wonder what's broken... Of course, there might be another one in the yard that's been pranged but has perfect mechanicals. The Citroen was very HubNut (well, apart from the fact that it worked...)
Just arranged for my MOT failure Peugeot 207 to be picked up by Trents in Rugby. They offered me a really decent price for it.
trying to work out where you were in Bridgend was interesting, and yes bamboozled me until the Doctors Surgery, then the Community Centre, the pub, and Brackla shopping triangle. but yeah heading to Pencoed M4 is probably best from there, as the Pines (Sarn) can have worse idiots. funny thing was you said you done that on the Tuesday, Sunday it had basically cleared completely by 5pm by me which is 2 miles as the crow flies. my parents live about 4 miles from that location and they had patches of snow on the ground on the Monday night, but not as bad as you did in Brackla. by the Tuesday it had cleared for them as well. as for drive along videos then it would be nice to see more footage of the scenery etc. as for the project car then I would be a bag of allsorts, yes the Citroen would probably be an easy turn around due to the lack of gadgets, plus a runner. but the ST would probably be more of a project, but cost could out way the income earned.

Used to have one of those C15`s when I worked for First For Finishing vehicle paint supplies in Poole. It was quite a fast machine.
Definitely do the fiesta as a project, these are becoming sort after and with the interior in that condition you could make your money from breaking it , keep trucking # kevtee

You missed an opportunity to have Classic Citroën C15 in the title to go with your Fast Ford Fiesta
6:00 Back in the day when I did market research for van manufacturers, the C15 was always the value option. Never a big seller, r ock bottom spec and no sophistication whatsoever, but people who wanted something cheap to move loads around loved them.

Good old classic Glow Plugs Light on that Citroen C15 my last car Ford Fiesta MK6 1.4 TDCI 58 Plate the Glow Plug light will only come on below -1 but I always waited for the relay to go click before starting it anyway without the glow plug light and that Ford Fiesta ST is beautiful

Didn’t get to see Jenko when you was over our way then. That hill coming down to Crumlin Caerphilly council has bought all the houses to demolish as it’s the most polluted area outside London. Since going to Ferryman Jenko uses that hill a lot no doubt. Also I noticed when you joined the M4 at London end that’s where they filmed Del Rodney and Grandad going off to Boycie weekend cottage in Cornwall.
Why is it so polluted round that area?

Love the idea of 'just driving' videos, but I would create a new playlist, just for those. I drive in the Philippines where lane discipline and maintaining progress are unknown concepts, along with showing consideration for other road users. Your driving videos are excellent training material showing how much more efficiently traffic flows when people know and respect the rules of the road.
