The band wrote this song together. If you like the lighter side, you might try, "If I Ever Lose My Faith In You," (a cover of Sting's song) and "A Reason To Fight," or "The Light." The videos that go with these are incredible. "A Reason To Fight" has two videos - I love them both and you could review them both in the same session ... one is the official music video and the other is the official live video, which is much like this one in that it involves the audience. (Btw, No More, Are You Ready and Inside The Fire are definitely NOT slow songs. As a matter of fact, "Inside The Fire," has a trigger warning at the beginning. It is about suicide and it's an important song, but it is visually exceedingly graphic and the music is hard. It's based on David's experience as a teenager with his girlfriend. All of these are GREAT, AMAZING songs, but they are not slow and are in no way like this. Just an FYI.) "Uninvited Guest" is beautiful and slow. Plus, you might check out David's duet with Ann Wilson from Heart on their latest album, "Divisive" that dropped last November.
Half the songs on the "Evolution" album are of the "softer" variety. In addition, from their second album "Believe" the song "Darkness" is as well.
