GAWD! That was GREAT! Thanks for posting this. I remember seeing Marty on TV in the 1980s playing on a sunburst Strat, using a slide. He had a Nudie-style suit and his hair - of course - was perfect. I've been grinning as he picks ever since. He's home-grown his little band, and they've grown great; the guys are veterans and all have terrific stage presence, and they sure help Marty put on a fine show.
Not only is Marty a Great Performer and Entertainer he is also the most important person in Country Music today. for all he does to preserve it's history. It really all started to come together once he realized there were a lotta things more important than chasing the Billboard Charts.
Not many people are going to p[lat the living hell out of a guitar like Marty can. He will kick it like no one else. I loved this video. Thanks for this.

Wife and I were at this show. Literally a gravel parking lot in the middle of a bunch of cotton fields. And there a spot of heaven and history!! 27:50
