      Thank you for watching. I made another compilation of projects in Nigeria, please check it. I think yes out government and companies are looking for profit, loan more than $10Billion to Federal government and built up massive projects here, but I also think its something positive. Here this country need these infrastructure to push it to next level of prosperity. th-cam.com/video/uEzuUtHCMmA/w-d-xo.html

    • @LieutZhuNG

      The Apapa station is mainly used to evacuate the cargo, but also take passenger. This should be done earlier, what now in Apapa is worst than disaster. I have the drawing in hand, more building designed for cargo processing than other stations.

      You are right it’s not free. Bank loan will be charge about 3-5%, much lower than 8/10% euro bond. The cost is more transparent, so harder for politician tap the money. About price, 1.6billion, 154km, 10 railway station almost same in China, cheaper than other contractors. And I think this will benefit both Nigerian and Chinese.

    The good Chinese in Africa, the looters and pillagers should be expelled.

    • @LieutZhuNG
      @LieutZhuNG  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is no moral motivation here to help Africa, pure business. If the business could benefit both Nigerian and Chinese it’s good one. Such as factory, it hired local resident, reduce import, pay tax, then its good. If the business sell compromised product at high price, or do business illegally, either market or government will drive them out.

    • @LieutZhuNG
      @LieutZhuNG  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @stk stk Got some points. If you study the story of China, you will see a workable model for a country on how to leverage its market with business partners. Japan invaded China during WWII and slaughtered 300,000 Chinese in 1 single massacre, and millions of lives lost during the 8 years war. But my fellow Chinese can put the sentiment aside , use development aid form Japan (about $30 billion) to set up initial infrastructures. Japanese investors are welcomed, set up joint ventures to transfer technology know how. Including GAC-Honda, and GAC-Toyota, now GAC company itself can produce million cars every year, and export thousands of them to Nigeria. Personally I think people in Africa demand respect and sentiment more than actual needed, just be pragmatic, be a better self. People normally will not respect or despise people by pure nationality or skin color, probably at first sight, but wont last very long after known each other better. I have some Nigerian friends hard working, self disciplined, well educated, have 2 kids both studied in UK or US. There is no reason for me to discriminate. But for some people who steal company assets, even Nigerian staff will despise them. Be rational , be pragmatic, be humble, hard work to be better self, then you will be respected.

    • @LieutZhuNG
      @LieutZhuNG  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @stk stk Can not agree more. That is the reason why Ghana and Nigeria perform much better than other French speaking ECOWAS nations. Yes, lets put history as history, learn from it and do not make it as burden. Deal with tribalism, I guess its the biggest challenge for Nigeria, not even the corruption. The country is still haunted by Biafran war. Politicians fight with each other rather than problems. My own rudimentary thought. Only stayed in Nigeria for 4 years. Quite possible I am wrong

    • @LieutZhuNG
      @LieutZhuNG  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @stk stkYes, lets understand us better, understanding will promote cooperation and development. East Asian countries hate each other generally LOL, but work together pretty well. China's industrialization could not be reality without foreign aid and capital from Korea and Japan. Actually Japan learnt from Prussia, Korea learnt from Japan, China (both mainland and Taiwan) learnt from Japan and Korea. The elites in Beijing always take Japan as mentor, since 1900s. The founder of Republic of China studied in Japan. So basically Chinese export Chinese Characters into Japanese language thousand years ago, now Japan export all these advanced technology and policies to China. Incredible. I would recommend you a book wrote by journalist from Economist "Why Asia Works", very inspiring.
