- This iconic structure, The Ark was conceived by Bishop David Oyedepo. It will serve as the central worship center for the Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners Chapel.
The vision for the Ark Auditorium was born out of a desire to create a spacious, state-of-the-art facility that would accommodate the church's rapidly growing congregation.
The Ark auditorium, is estimated to have more than 100,000 seating capacity.

Gilead Medical Center, Landmark University Hospital and Covenant University Hospital, they have Power Plant supplying electricity to the community they are all built by Living Faith Church, these are the 3 that I know but there are others because the church doesn't announce those things.

Cannanland has its own Independent power plant already. The city runs off grid with 24 hours power supply.
tens of thousands of employee are working in that ministry. last i heard from him over 20, 000 emloyees. He did not create the zero tax system. We can't hate on him. He is a working success that stand from rag to grace. We just need to move in our own calling and assignment on earth
You can also raise money to build power plants like Elumelu and Otedola and contribute your own quota to national development. His own calling is in human development and education.

And at the finished state, the same people that contributed CANNOT access the same projects they ALL contributed for!

Your government collects taxes from Nigerians and spends N90bn on Islamic pilgrimage to boost Saudi economy but you are not bothered. A Church builds its own auditorium in Nigeria without your money but you are oppressed ? You are not even glad about how many artisans, term workers, technicians, engineers and architects are employed. A minsitry that has over 35,000 employees who have never been owed salaries like your irresponsible and incompetent government. A ministry that has run two of the best Univerisites in Nigeria and dozens of schools is your problem not your government that collects VAT, WHT, CIT, PIT, Duties, Crude Oil revenue, loans from IMF, World Bank etc yet cannot deliver any value to you. You are bothered about what Christians do with their money ? You Africans hate any form of progress as long as another African is involved. The biggest complex in that place is a Church! Nigeria,why? Is your problem Church or industrialization? You don't need to build massive and expensive church to solve spiritual problem. But you need massive industries to solve economic and financial problems.

We thank God for your effort Sir (our beloved daddy Bishop Oyedepo). But, Sir, please create more employment or provide more shelter, food and clothing for the poor in the church. Sir, Jesus children under your care are in pain and sorrow of poverty worldwide. They are more important than the Ark Sir. Would the Ark not remain empty if Jesus' children in your church are left to die of poverty? Are Jesus' children not more important than the Ark Sir? We love you our beloved Bishop.
The late Prophet Temitope Joshua was more philanthropic and engaged in massive charitable causes and humanitarian services than Bishop David Oyedepo. If you ask me, it is tellingly worrisome and indicting on the stinginess of the latter. Jesus Christ helped and fed the poor who came to listen to his teachings and gospels. Where is Oyedepo getting his inspiration to rapaciously acquire wealth from? It is not certainly from our Lord Jesus Christ but from some Mammon. His model is antithetical to Christ's.
If the Bishop opens an industry to employ these people you refer to as Jesus' children, you'll still criticize him for using tithe payers money to enrich himself.
These men actually know and practice the true act of giving, and that is, giving without putting it on camera or telling the world that they have given or helped the poor. So you won't know how much he actually gives to charity but he does.
He is building a house for God, not himself, the same way Solomon did in the Bible.

This building will make Nigerians poorer. Think of it like this. What % of Nigerians money is being directed to the churches. I mean tithes, offerings, and donations. That money is delivered no matter the cost of living, no matter the economic situation. That money that combined could have been used to build small businesses, pay for school fees, buy equipment for studying and analysis, all of that money is being given to the church, who will use it for what? To build larger auditoriums, buy private jets, and pay for hotel trips for the elites of the church. The Nigerian churches are getting richer, but the people are getting poorer. and the people will be praying in the church for better life. Your pastor is getting a better life for sure. You are just praying for your pastor, and your deacon, and your minister, and whoever else.

With the influence of the big pastors in Nigeria i feel like alot can be done ,LFC alone has more than 5 million members in Nigeria that is more than the population of new Zealand or Australia and the money this church earn from church tithes and offering, maybe more than tax in small African country and note that this is just form LFC but this in not the point the point is that much more should come from the churchs in Nigeria , church can actually creat jobs,YES i said it if other private institute can do it so as the church.

European that brought religion to us in Africa and Nigeria are doing everything to better economy life of their citizens, but Nigerian churches and government building auditorium for worshippers will not our society to eldoraldo or booist our economy. The money collect at this auditorium as tithes and gifts who will have it? Here in Britain, you go to the Church of England, you will be fed to the brim on Sunday without anyone looking or wondering why with your cars or buses parked, you are eating free food.
