    "When will the Elite ECUs be compatible with the CAN Keypads???"
    CAN keypads add versatility and expandability to your ECU setup. Apart from letting you control ECU functions on the go, they can also be used to add more inputs to your ECU. But most importantly - as of now, Haltech CAN Keypads are compatible with Elite series ECUs!

      Question: how well does haltech work with the older mod motors? Am I gonna have to custom do everything or are there some plug and play partial harnesses available? I am going to have to add to a harness for extreme boost control, EGTs, etc. Etc.

    The foresight Haltech designers had when developing the elite series (how many years ago?) that capacity still exists to keep upgrading our original purchase is utterly remarkable. This NEVER happens with consumer electronics. Thank you Haltech!

    Would be cool to see tiny screens on the switches like on a stream deck. Purely for that extra swagger 😂

    Can you please add reverse dot and reverse bar so that if the keypad is mounted vertically with the lights on the right hand side, the trim functions can work properly? In this orientation, as an example boost up would be button 1, and boost down would be button 2, however currently the software doesn’t allow for up to be to the left of down or the led indicators are all out of order. When mounted vertically it doesn’t make sense to have button 1 as down and 2 as up.

    Super cool stuff! Is it possible to use the keypad to serve as an ignition switch? Or do we have to wait for the PDM for that capability?

    Can one key assign several functions at once. For example: Increase boost, open exhaust gate motors, turn on E85 pump, turn off 98RON pump etc? This allows a drag racing selection, street selection or economy selection with one push of a button. Can this be done? Thanks Rod

    Ordered! Is it possible to have a button you press before start that will allow you to crank the engine without firing to prime the oil system before cold start? Would it be like disable injectors button or something? :)

    Will the Elite or Nexus series ever work with aftermarket CAN pads such as ECU Master?

    • @haltech
      @haltech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Theoretically the already can - though you'd have to make your CAN keypad talk to the Haltech ECU using Haltech CAN protocol. The main advantage of using a Haltech CAN pad with a Haltech ECU is the easy and seamless integration with the whole Haltech system.

    • @itschrislaw
      @itschrislaw 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@trippnoutmotorsport3164 You can use it to control DPOs if you wish. Using generic outputs and DPOs the possibilities are just about as good as with the PDM. You know, just with more wiring involved.
