My Parents Should Never Have Children

  • Being a young child I knew for sure; you belong to me and I will always belong to you. Why did my parents not feel the same way? Why were they always fighting? Was it my fault? Was I not good enough? You know, after all that happened, I had no other option than to make a drastic decision; "I never want to see my parents ever again."
We chose this story because we want to encourage people to speak up if something similar has happened to them and to seek help if they're still in such a situation. We hope this video will encourage people to feel empathy and compassion for those who have gone through such experiences. And we hope that it will encourage us all to do what we can to prevent these things from happening. Even if it does happen we want to encourage people to speak up for their own safety

They did love them. But the parents own pain and neurosis screwed them and their relationships up. Parents who genuinely don't like their kids are psychopathic levels of rare. We all want to point up and say 'it's their fault', but the reality is, one day the hand will point up at us.

A strict mother raises her kids and they turn out screwed up. So the child grows up and raises her own kids with endless love and patience... This cycle of abusive parents needs to stop. Unfortunately I was in a similar situation except my mom got married 3 times. The last one lasted 2 years luckily I moved out before she got married to husband number 3. She expected me and my 4 older siblings to “fix her problems,” we gave her advice but won’t follow through with it. Since I have been on my own, I have learned to heal from this and talk with my boyfriend and friends about it. This is unfortunate we have people like this that choose to have kids and being a decent parent.

I used to feel a lot of the same way about my parents. My father put a bruise on my thigh the size of an orange when he 'spanked' me because I was laughing with my brother when we should have been sleeping. He put my sister in an arm lock. He would find any reason to make himself look better. But eventually you start to realize that everyone is flawed and a production of their upbringing. If I blamed him, he could blame his father and so on. I think it's our own responsibility to find understanding, instead of pigeonholing people as "bad".

My mom was okay sometimes, but other times, she was a royal pain in the butt when she was alive. She would constantly yell and scream at both me and my dad a lot and call us terrible names that I can't repeat because they're curse words. And it was awful. She wasn't very nice to us for 19 years. The chances of that ever happening were like one in a million. But even then, she wasn't all that bad underneath. She protected me when I was in the hospital after I got my left ovary removed because there was a huge cyst growing there. When I got that phone call from my dad on March 24th, 2016 at 3:30 pm telling me that my mom had passed away, I felt like my entire world just came crashing down. My dad and I are still doing good and hanging in there even though it has been rough for us both.

there was very little interaction with them and my siblings. The older we got, the more distant they got.
As an adult; Marriage, father, career, mortgage, bills etc, we have a very one sided relationship. I have to go to THEM, i have to call THEM. They make "promises", but never live up to them. I vowed never to be that kind of parent! My children (and wife) will know a loving, attentive father\husband.

Her brother however had the opposite outcome. I watch some of these videos so that I can one day god willing if I have a family of my own do better. Be better parent and have children that have fully functioning adults that are self confident and happy. I would like my children to be the opposite of me as a child, young teen, and young adult. I would love for them to love themselves, people love being with them, they have a great network of friends and associates, and they are overall happy and enjoy life. sounds like the mother was treated this way growing up. You don't need to cut out your parents forever, just understand they are that way for a reason, and don't repeat the family issues down the line. And more than likely the grandparents also had issues, and we also need to remember, a lot of those grandparents went through the war, and famines last early century. Those issues of stress were passed down to the children and kept passing on. But the good news is, we can change and learn to have a better emotional output.

Nobody probably said anything cause they didn't know what to tell a narcissistic neglectful mom who thinks she can do no wrong anything that would stick or get through her thick skull. Either that or she just ignored them. Not that I'm justifying the no action taken. It's always someone's else and not hers. That's what the mom believes. Anyone who disagrees is ignored and cut out. She definitely should be angry with herself, the mom. She's gonna end up all alone with no one to blame But Herself.

Well talk about your broken childhood story about your parents argues a lot and fights and not even pay attention you and also saying hurtful things and also hitting you a lot and lying to the teacher after few years when you have your own children all sudden become nice parents well you made the right decision by not talking with mother not even your father well anyway(this is my comment) to you & brother may have a broken childhood but I hope your kids don't suffer the same way that you did👨‍👩‍👧
