My brother was born at 1 pound, 12 ounce. He was the size of a soda can and the smallest diaper they had went up to his armpits and didn't fit him. He is now SO strong with no complications. He is able to do anything he puts his mind to, wrestling, track, soccer, etc. But it's just amazing how God works in ways you can't even imagine

I was born 3 and 1/2 months early and had loads of tubs in me and my mum didn’t care but my dad stayed at hospital with me almost every night for a 2 year (I was in hospital for to years after birth and my head was as small or smaller than a tennis ball)
Was born 2.5 months too early. Due to that I got some side effects such as allergies, slower growth expectancy and asthma. Compared to other children born 10 weeks too early I seemed to have gotten lucky, I even proved the doctors wrong with my expected max height (became taller than both my parents), so hopefully your daughter got lucky like me and will live a good life (well, she already has done one miracle, shouldn’t be too hard doing it again).
I am grateful to still be alive even though I have cerebral palsy because of being of premature birth. I am very happy for the chance of life given to me!

The skin on my back wouldn't be completely closed over my spine. But here I am, 14, healthy, with no signs of prematurity. Women who choose not to abort their babies even through bad financial situations, being verbally abused, traumatic experiences, and rape are heroes. And they deserve all the love in the world for their sacrifice to save a baby's life. Life truly is valuable and precious.
Born at 27 weeks gestation or 27 weeks early?? Because 27 weeks early would be 13 weeks gestation, barely into the 2nd trimester. I didnt think a baby would be big enough to save at that point...(about the size of a lemon and 1oz in weight).

Compared to other children born 10 weeks too early I seemed to have gotten lucky, I even proved the doctors wrong with my expected max height (became taller than both my parents), so hopefully your daughter got lucky like me and will live a good life (well, she already has done one miracle, shouldn’t be too hard doing it again).

The skin on my back wouldn't be completely closed over my spine. But here I am, 14, healthy, with no signs of prematurity. Women who choose not to abort their babies even through bad financial situations, being verbally abused, traumatic experiences, and rape are heroes. And they deserve all the love in the world for their sacrifice to save a baby's life. Life truly is valuable and precious.
