I don't think that's messed up at all, it's just a decision based on playing strength (when did you last hear of Liviu-Dieter Nisipeanu for instance) and less women playing chess professionally. I still don't complain about Levy's decision to prioritize covering games played by female players *just based on their gender* .But that's just because I personally prefer watching games by gm's or even im's to watching (sometimes indecipherable) super gm games.
Why is it messed up? People want to see the top players battle for the biggest wins. You have probably never heard of the 80th ranked player in the world, but he is still very good. Yet you never even saw a game of his, why? Because he isn't among the top top players.

I have noticed notable improvement of my chess as I watch Levy's amazing content primarily, was super proud of myself for finding h5 and Qg6. It's really fun to play along and pause to try to guess the big brain move. Amazing content as always (if not a little click-baity sometimes, but that's okay it's youtube after all)

Great video, I watched the women's world championship where Goryachkina looked strong but ultimately failed to win, but here in these games she looks even stronger and shows improvement these games are 2700 performance level
On a side note, while "горячий" is an adjective that means just 'hot' in Russian, "горячка" is a noun and has more particular meaning, which is 'fever'. I suppose that surname Goryachkina was influenced specifically by noun "горячка", not just generic adjective "горячий". The surname suits the games anyway, some feverish things definitely happened on the board.

Day 177: Of requesting Levy to cover opposite coloured bishop endgames. Especially when you have a slight material advantage of being up by two or three pawns against your opponent and you both have opposite coloured bishops as well.
Sounds like a draw because each player can just keep their pawns on the colour opposite the opponent's bishop and then just move around the bishop and king for 50 moves. So I assume you're talking about if you want to go for the win. In that case idk. My best guess would be to keep your pawns connected and keep your king close by 🤷🏽♀️ Edit: So I commented before I watched the video, but this exact situation you described is at 6:13

For example I am 1700 on Lichess but I always hear the chatter about Lichess raitings being inflated which I believe is true but I also recently heard Hikaru say a 2000 is a 2000 everywhere. Hou Yifan has been playing a bit online the last month. She didn't do to we'll in the champions chess tour, but that's to be expected with that competition. However, she won the Women's speed chess championship just last weekend - so she's still strong, and playing.
You are wrong at the end. There are currently only 12 women over 2500 elo, but 38 men over 2700. Kirill Alekseenko recently dropped out from the list after that very tough super tournament and other two players are currently in 1-2 elo range of that mark. The closest female player to hit at 2494 elo and the one to follow is only at 2489 elo. It would have been more precise to say that there are as many 2500+ elo women as there are 2750+ men (15). Maxime dropped out from that list with his last few weak tournaments.

In the candidates, Fabi had over 30 moves of theory prepared against Mvl's najdorf which he played. An average chess game is 40 moves - so you think memorising 75% of the game is laudable? lol. Classical chess is only good at the lower levels below 2600-2700
