I think it is worth mentioning, that at 3:46 black could not take pawn on h3, because their queen was getting trapped. So, if 18. ... Qxh3, then 19. Nef5 (blocking retreat of black Queen). Now the threat is to play Bf1 followed by f3. For example, if 19. ... g6, then 20. Bf1 Qg4 21.f3 wins a queen. A better way to defend for black would be 19. ... Bg6 (attacking the important knight on f5). Then white would continue 20. Bf1 Bxf5 21.Bxh3 Bxh3. Black lost their queen for 2 minor pieces.
It is because of this tactical nuance black could not take the pawn on h3, and that is why move Qe6 was a mistake by black that allowed white to gain positional advantage. Hope this helps.

@@ryananderson4944 kinda late but, no, i dont do it for likes, i do it because i saw some guy translating the titles to russian, and thought it was kinda interesting. some times other brazillians showed up and talk to me, and it kinda make me happy to see other brazillians (or portuguese speakers in general) in levy's channel
btw i stoped translating because i let about 10 videos accumulate and got lazy to translate all of them

Nice to see one of Dzindhi's games... you'd catch him once in a great while around Washington Sq. or at one of the Thompson Street shops, dispensing brilliant, if grouchy, wisdom to all the patzers. Those were the good old days. Thanks for posting this!

I got a flashback from highschool (not really highschool, but roughly equal, different school system). I played with a friend of mine that was really really good with pawns. Not so good with other pieces so we were close to equal (he was slightly better than I out of 20 games he won like 12-13 vs my 8-7), but if there ever were an endgame where he had a better pawn position he almost always managed to make a queen. I learned a lot playing against him.
