Hi Saldala quick question, when installing the JLT intake to the 103 TB did you have fitment issues with the silicone coupler ? The one that came with my Jlt intake doesn’t fit the 103 TB
It was very very very tight. But with some patience and the right tools, I was able to get it on. It fits. But it’s a tight stretched over fit.

Yes! 2019. The only one with the bow tie in the bumper.
Too install mods do u have to disconnect the battery?
Yes. You should always disconnect the battery before doing anything work that requires you to remove plugs or ecu connectors.

Thanks! And no, apparently the stock plugs are good for E85. A lot of people change them because they crack during the header install, but I had no issues. And roughly 450whp on 93 and roughly 480-490 on E. We didn’t dyno just a street tune.

Another quick question… my convertible comes with dual pipes not quad like yours … could I buy quad set up and it still work or I have to keep it dual
Yeah hellcats are not that fast. They have a 20% drivetrain loss to the wheels and weigh a lot more.
The exhaust should be the same until the mufflers. So you can change it, but your rear diffuser won’t accept the quad tips. You need to switch out the diffuser as well to make it work.
Hi Saldala when Installing the headers do you delete one 02 sensor?
Yes. You’ll go from 4 total to 2 only.

have you upgraded your fuel pump?
Stock 1LE’s already come with the low side fuel pump out of the zl1. I think stock we are good to about 650whp or so on stock fuel system.
Where’d you order you ECM? Also where could I get an unlocked tcm?
My car is tuned with HP tuners. No unlocked ecu needed. I also have a manual. We don’t have a transmission computer that needs tuned only the autos deal with that.
How does that work? As far as not needing an unlocked ecm because of hp tuners. New to the 10speed game and looking to get tuned on a similar setup to yours.
You need credits for the tune, and a separate set of credits for the trans tune.
The trans tune can definitely help but a stock 10 speed already is no joke. I know of some guys that just tune the ecu and not the transmission but that’s up to you.
Did you heat wrap the harness?
I did. But just with basic gold Amazon heat wrap. I check it periodically to make sure everything is good
Is this your daily? And Is you still running this setup?
It is not my daily but I did have to drive it for work for two weeks and put 600 or so miles on it and it through heavy traffic.
Car is a champ.

I have a ram 1500 that’s much more comfortable. I can drive more care free in the ram not worrying about damages or parking etc.

You didn’t get the aem 30-0334 gauge?
Just used the data off the hp tuner plus the air fuel meter that is placed on the end of the exhaust during tuning.

Parts and tune $4,800. I did the full install myself.

The only problem I see here is that the car is manual and for rolls rCe auto 10 speed will eatbyou with less power. SAVE THE MANUAL
Autos are faster but at least we drive the car, not just ride in them.
wrong oil, the 6.2L LT1 takes Mobil 1 0w40 DexosR Supercar oil.
If you watch my oil change video I specify that dexos 2 is only for cars running the stock catalytic converters.
I don’t run dexos 2 because I don’t have catalytic converters. I run the 0-40 European formula that has better anti wear additives and costs significantly less than the supercar formula (formerly known as the dexos 2 product.)

Just because you have years of experience doesn’t mean you can’t be wrong about something.

Dexos is a detergent standard to keep your emissions system clean and functioning properly.
I also wouldn’t doubt it’s part of a bigger gimmick to sell you a product only GM wants you to use.
However, even if you’re an evil Disney villain who turns his nose up to emissions standards and fuel efficiency doesn’t float your boat, you should use Dexos oil for any engine that calls for it. The reason for this is that the engine is configured in such a way that Dexos oil specifications help it work as it should. Dexos oil is also specially formulated for proper lubrication, sludge reduction, friction level moderation and controlling temperatures - the latter being especially important in vehicles with turbochargers or superchargers, as they create more heat. Coincidentally, due to the engine downsizing trend, the number of vehicles with forced induction (turbo or superchargers) has been increasing rapidly.
Dexos oil specification for GM vehicles also provides a global framework that enables GM vehicle owners anywhere in the world to know which oil is right for their vehicles, instead of making different blends for different regions as was often the case in the past.
But Dexos goes a step further.
Aside from meeting the current API (American Petroleum Institute) and ILSAC (International Lubricants Standardization and Approval Committee) requirements, Dexos oils were developed through additional testing that provides reduction in piston deposits of up to 28% and a slight improvement in fuel efficiency compared to the API and ILSAC requirements.
