My Olympic--ZhouZhuoru

ZhouZhuoru is a member of Chinese Women Team who won the gold in Gymnastics Worlds 2006.
It was the moment which I would remember forever because Chinese Women Team won the world champion first in 53 years. For me, just 18 years old, it also first won the gold medal in the world.
"At last, I was very happy and exciting to become a world champion." In that evening, I woke all the night.
In the summer 2004, once, going to Athens was a dream of mine. On the day of women team final in Athens, you saw LiYa, who was as the same age as me and become a national team member in 2002, but at that time, maybe, I could appear. "Before declare the name list, there was still a test. LiYa and I were all first." If time could come back, if you watched me at that time, I thought, perhaps, I could make you remember me. "I was very confident at that time." I became to exercise gymnastics when I was seven and a half years old. I was 15 years old in 2004 when they went to Athens. ZhangNan was the team leader and won coppery medal of women AA in 2004 at Athens. When seeing them, I was thinking, "I wished I could compete". A month before going to Athens, in order to adapt the weather of Europe advance, they went to France for training including me. Then they went to Athens, but I stayed in France because I was an alternate, the ninth alternate. "I didn't satisfy of the ninth alternate and I was not in." it was a suffering time when I awaited orders in France. I was waiting for a call, which asked me to go to Athens. "When my coach was calling every time, I always listened slinkingly and wished the call from Athens. From the first day ,I was waiting .Until the last day, August 17th 2004, on which the Chinese Team were the seventh in Team Finals, I totally gave up the idea for Athens forever.
When I came back to Beijing, I was very depressed. "I was sad because my dream didn't come true. In fact, I looked forward to a thing which didn't succeed." In that time, I couldn't exercise well, and I found myself was changed. "I was not confident as before. Others were making progress, but I was behind. The feeling was very sad I can't catch up with others." I didn't do well and blame my coach... "Because I was in a melancholy mood when coming back from France, and it led to that the training was bad and there were some problems between I and my coach. I didn't take part in some small matches later, even I went to some, and I still did badly. I didn't understand why I change a lot.
In the winter of 2005, some teammates attended to Gymnastic Worlds 2005. ChengFei, the same age as me, became VT world champion. How about me? "I didn't go to Gymnastic Worlds 2005 and felt badly all the time. The young made progress fast and the old were better than me. I was not one of the best." "Don't follow me! World champion are over there. Do not shoot, I feel upset, thanks." In fact, I was not a pessimistic person, but at that time, I began to be impatient and had crankily thoughts. "If nobody comforted me, I was thinking and thinking. Why don't they come to persuade me? Whether they didn't like to play with me? Those thoughts were absurd." when I was sad, I sang in a place which others could not find, but did not sing loudly. "I was afraid some one said I had a scrannel voice, I would become angrier. So I kept close and sang alone."
In the autumn of 2006, this year, I was 18 years old. I should grow up. But when coaches declared that who could go to Gymnastic Worlds 2006, I could not cover up my surprise. "To my astonishment, I was in the list. I was very happy." On the day of women team finals in Gymnastic Worlds 2006, I asked myself not to fail, must succeed. Fix attention on main points; take actions dauntlessly according to main points. Finishing the post, I looked for my coach. I was happy and hoped my coach was happy too." I was successful, but the story was not the end. Due to the champion, I understood myself again.
In the summer of 2007, many people say I do well in all four events, but I hope could do best in one event like ChengFei. Looking at the growth of teammates, I think, I should work harder and harder for 2008, for the Olympic I look forward forever. "I must go to 2008.I must train in 2008. I must try my best in 2008, whatever I could go to Olympic Games or not." I am ZhouZhuoru, and this is my story.
Olympic Game is a holy competition for me.
