I'd say Battlefront is the worst game of the year. Not because of it being worse than the other shits this year, but because it shit all over Star Wars Fucking Battlefront. Think about that. Battlefront. I've waited ten years for Star Wars Battlefront 3. Ten. Fucking. Years. This game shit all over my goddamn childhood. And you know what the worst part is? It sold like fucking hotcakes.

+necropig Each time they release a game they release it under a different "subsidiary" of Digital Homicide as well. One of them being ECC games which published "Devils Share" and "Galactic Hitman", and DH also released games under the name "Micro Strategic Games Design"...among others. Jimquisition has done a lot of research into DH and the garbage they create. What a mess. :/

+necropig Jim Sterling said it was over 20 in 2 years, many of them under different names to hide their identity. You have to dig all over the place to form up a list. Most will not come up from similar searches on the "developer" or "publisher"(which are actually the same few pricks). They know the games they produce are complete shit, so their solution is to just keep changing names. Rather than actually learn how to make a video game worth something or invest any amount of time into doing so, they instead just mass produce garbage and use whatever dirty scamming tricks they can to get it sold. They are basically con artists in the game industry, and are what happens when you easily allow anyone to slap together shit and publicly distribute it for them without any kind of quality control or regulation. Valve doesn't give the slightest shit about any of this, nor that their store is filling up with this kind of garbage.
You are hands down the most honest, unbiased and accurate reviewer on YT. Furthermore, you are down to earth and humble as a man :)

Glad to see Battlefront here, such a huge disappointment for me personally and an absolute rip off if ever there was one... I must be getting old and grumpy though as there are plenty of people defending it because hey... It's Star Wars! Ergh...
+bowser515 I bought it on release. Played through the tutorial and a bit of multiplayer and nothing changed since the beta. I haven't played it since day 1. So very disappointed.

I agree, the fact it looks so good makes it all the more annoying as it could have been something very special. Designing it for kids was also a huge mistake. They aren't as stupid as EA seem to think. If they had given this more substance, the kids would soon have learned it and the adults could have enjoyed it also...

I know it was deliberate, I just think making the game overly simple was a mistake, as we're clearly seeing from the negative feedback.
+Kristiantio905 Not sure where you get that from but I personally know loads of developers, loads of publishers, I speak to quite a few on a weekly basis, I have also been invited to some of the largest publishers such as 2k and see the goings on in these places, how they are designed more importantly who calls the shots. The actual design of the games is with the devs NOT the publishers, the pubs say what must stay and what must go in order to make deadlines and stay on budget. This frustrates the devs and I know two personally that quit their jobs over it. My point in the video is that games are just copies of eachother, no new design concepts, the maps especially are badly designed which has a huge knock on effect on how the game plays out, this is NOT a publishers decision, it's 100% design which falls to the developers.A great example is Medal of Honor Allied Assault, it was made in 2002 and I recently bought a server and introduced about 20 of my subscribers to the game, they bloody love it, we play for hours and they are always asking me to organise more games. The map design is superb which makes for brilliant strategic games where skill and cunning are massive factors. This was made back when people gave a shit about their products, you can see the love that went into the game, every inch of the map is worked out and put in with meaning....look at COD, the maps are the exact opposite, they are just thrown together without a care in the world which is why they play so horribly.SWBF was not made to be a deliberate POS, it was done to the best of their ability, just a shame they have not ability.

Your channel could grow much faster if you decided to take the easy road and lick everybody's ass and do paid reviews. The best thing about your reviews - no mercy :D. I am currently in a stage of life where you really start asking yourself "What the f*ck do I do now?". Finishing my masters degree in Mechanical engineering in a year, and will need to take the first real step towards real employment and work. It's a good lesson - get up and do whatever it takes to succede.

People shouldnt have a go at you as much as they do. When you review a game you talk about all the little things that would bug me if i payed £50. But after your videos i can decide weather to buy that game at that price or not without being disappointed (weather i can cope with the bad things in the game over the good)...if that makes sense.

I recently went back to school, hoping to acquire a new skillset to improve myself because I got layoff a long while back, became unemployed for years and was surviving on NEETbux.
dead linger at least deserves the respect of knowing when to quit, and being honest about it. not defending the game, just that the honesty of the devs, specifically zag/Geoff Keene, is almost unheard of in the industry. they were over ambitious, and took on more than they could chew, but at least admitted their mistake, and in stead of just slapping 1.0 on it and calling it done like most would, they announced its being delayed indefinitely/cancelled with possible plans to open source it if anyone wants to try. despite the shitty product, that deserves a little respect I think.
When you played the song from 1970 I was lucky my cup was big enough to spit my drink right back into it or I would have destroyed my keyboard.. had a good laugh there, thanks Mack..

I strongly disagree with batman being on the list. I played it on ps4 and it was great, probably my favorite in the series. When it comes to the combat you can't just button mash through the game, you encounter enemies eventually who that just won't work on. Despite me disagreeing with you sometimes I still really enjoy your content, your stuff can be funny as hell and I love it. Keep up the good work Mack.

I really wish the Yakuza games come to PC. It has some amazing combat. People were blasting Yakuza 5 for not being as "sophisticated" as the Arkham games. Yakuza doesn't tell you when the enemy is attacking, when to counter, and it doesn't move the character for you.

+THE_JEDI_GUY 7 days to dine but it's more for small player groups, the servers don't cater for huge player counts. Hurtworld is very similar to Rust and has plenty people playing but nothing is really awesome atm.
THE_JEDI_GUY You will eventually find people to play with in DayZ Mod(most likely if you join TS3 servers). There's not too much in the crafting department, but it's amazing when the servers are good(I play on insurrection servers btw).
You will get in firefights that you can't anticipate, will need to be tactical in order to win the 'battles'. It's quite realistic.
The current price (1/5 of the old price) for ArmA 2 Combine Ops is a no brainer if you like tactical shooters and DayZ Mod adds the survival element which makes ArmA even better.
It has it's flaws, a load of them, but I can get over them and love this game. No game has ever given me an adrenaline rush as this one.

+THE_JEDI_GUY 7 days to die is a good one so is Don't Starve or Don't Starve Together depending on what you want there's also ARK but you need a really beast PC. It depends on what you want from the game 7 days is an intense survival crafting game where zombies are the top problem and players are the least of your worries. Don't Starve is a game with a unique art style where your main thing to deal with is hunger and sanity it also features certain monsters during day time and night time and DST is just that with multiplayer (Not sure about PVP never played it). ARK is a beautiful survival game where you have to survive in a world with dinosaurs and 10fps. Rust is a primarily PVP and base building survival game with not much to loot but a lot to craft. DayZ (Don't recommend standalone get Arma3 Dayz or arma 2) is basically Arma with looting and a couple zombies thrown in lots of PVP can be intense at times shitty controls.
+THE_JEDI_GUY I've put 100's of hours into 7 days to die and Empyrion, both very different, and still Alphas, but good fun. I am also starting the long dark, very different, but enjoying that too. Subnautica is also good.

Why do others think Battlefront is bad?
I think the reason why I enjoy it is that i try and do the hard achievements or get the collectibles as they are quite hard to get.
I guess if I was to not that then it would be a lot duller, as it stands I don't do Blast or any of the modes that are just ppl vs ppl (no vehicles or heroes). But the with heroes and vehicles in are a lot of fun as are the variety of missions which make up small campaigns.
Also I know this game isn't like the originals in terms of "Galactic Conquest", yet they are the sand in that you pew-pew your way through.
By the logic shown here every shooter is a pew-pew game, but that doesn't make all shooters bad.
What's sad is, there are games that are old and need remakes HD and well a full remake. But there never noticed at all there old and crap but have really good concepts. There are games i like from 2001 - 2011 but they need a remake. Pacific storm: allies, The i of the dragon, Legendary and battle stations. They need a remake but no there just forgotten and abandoned with modders trying to revive the game alittle. (I would really like to see a HD remake of medal of honor)
I was quite sad that the game where you get to play as a griffin is bad. but I've seen worse trying to let you play as a mythical creature.

I can agree that Arkham knight was a bad game, but I personally like the combat, I don't know if it's just me but in the later fights in the game you can't just spam the attack button; The enemies have shields, shock batons, swords and there are brutes who are not damaged by a normal attack. And when your facing a large group of enemies you can't spam attack because they will all swarm you. The early combat is really easy and you can clear a room in a few seconds at the start but I just try and go for really high combos.

I see your complaint with Arkham Knight, Mack, but I'm fine with it. However, in the combat of the Arkham Series, I usually handicap myself, to make it a lot more fun. I understand that you shouldn't need to do that, though.

I would have loved the terribly acted FMVs in Need for Speed if they were attached to ANYTHING other than Need for Speed and this shit street racing story, literally ANYTHING ELSE. I'm not going to play a garbage racing game with a garbage street racing story to get FMVs. I couldn't even stomach playing through CnC 4. I love FMVs, but when you attach them to a totally shit game, they're just wasted. Tex Murphy Tesla Effect was good... we need more games like that with our FMVs...
I'm glad Battlefront got a listing as well, another CoD MOBA cash shop, just digging up and raping this license because of the new movie. In a year or two the game will be deserted after everyone moves on to the next shiny toy. You're paying over 100$ for a copy and paste MP only game you probably bought already off CoD which will be dead in 1-2 years.

Mack i dont agrre with you about batman arkham knight. I have it on ps4 and is an awesome game i loved it! The combat isnt that bad you have a lot of takedowns and the story is fine. On pc was bad i know but they fixed it and now it is fine.

+ArmorDonio But Batman is a game. The whole point of Batman combat is it looking flashy and getting the biggest combo possible. That's what makes it such a good system. It has room for creativity and does a good job making you immersed. Too bad Mack is too old to realize gameplay can do more than just be challenging.
