Brilliant interview Terry!!
A true gent was Jimmy. I used to be a drayman many years ago and delivered many times to Deacons. Jimmy always looked after us afterwards. Even put up the lads on a night out in Bournemouth with drinks etc and a VIP area. A top bloke and good to see he’s looking grand. All the best Jimmy thanks for your cracking hospitality 👍 Jas
Thanks for the message and feedback lovely to hear Jas.
Yeah Yeah Yeah
It makes a change when one of these old skool isn’t bitter and twisted about ex rivals and ex colleagues what a gent you are Jimmy! Loved this interview Terry! 👍💚🇮🇪
thanks Dez
He is 80 years old . And he is the dogs gonads . ❤
Thanks Kelly
Tony was my fave. Great company.
I agree these men deserve respect thing is this generation got alot to say on there computers.. had it myself
The only slight respect I have towards Tony Lambriano is in 1972 at Armley jail in Leeds, he was sent down the segregation block and stayed there for 1 year. While taking the occasional good hinding off the horrible screws. We all know prison in 1972 were horrible places run by the prison officers with only violence been the rule of law. So I must show him some respect for coping down the segregation for 1 year and still having 13 years left on his sentence to do. He had to be mentally strong to get through that period in his prison journey. He was only i believe still on 28 years old at this time while locked away down the segregation in Leeds prison. It's a shame he wasn't this strong when began wilting under the pressure from Nipper read and started grassing up the Kray Twins.
Tony Lambriano spent 15 years in prison and was released in 1983. I don't belive he every gained any employment after his release from prison until right up to he death. Which I think paints a rather sad picture of his life after leaving prison in 1983. All those years without a legitimate income. He earned a few quid from his best selling book. But his book was full of lies and he should of been totally ashamed to have ever wrote that book. I guess a man like Tony Lambriano was always going to be a guy who earned a few quid by any means necessary.
In other words a wasted life ...Gangster 😂
Frank Mitchell didn't try to kill Freddie Foreman's brother. That was Jimmy Evans. And then Freddie took revenge on the wrong person! Ginger Marks.
He was "Mad"
@terrystone743 for sure! And the twins probably see him as a threat! Was a giant too. Anychance of getting Chris Lambrianou on?
@terrystone743 or Freddie, now that would be groundbreaking! But he doesn't like doing these kind of things does he.
it was one of the train robbers mitchell attacked may have been bruce reynolds he was freds best friend and he never forgot it

Chris did one with Dodge Woodall not long ago. Great watch.
Fantastic thought iv watched everything and everyone on London gangland 60's this is something new 👏👏
Nice one James make sure you tune in to tomorrow's episode at 6pm it will blow your mind!
I met tony lambrianou a few times when he moved home and drank in my local, we got along well, nice fella, but soon after died. He awalys said to me 'you kids are our future'! That was his catch phrase
He said same to me.
Great interview Terry, ive always had a lot of time for Jimmy. ❤
He's a great guy and amazing company
First class interview Terry. "The Old School Villian." It's all changed dying breed. 😮
Thanks for the feedback Gary always great to have the old school on the show
Jimmy is one of the best blokes I've ever meet use to have a pub in Boscombe in Bournemouth and I was one of his locals and never ever thought he was better than anyone or spoke about his brother good fella thanks Jimmy doyley
Quality interview again Terry really enjoyed this one great questions and stories.
Thanks JJ
That had me at laughter when Jimmy Lambrianou said that Reggie Kray was not even that bad.
This gangster life is just a fantasy to us normal people.
Thanks for the upload TT pod father
Nice one James 👍👍
Absolutely brilliant, such a natural interview, could've been two blokes having a laugh down the pub.
Amazing & thanks for the feedback David!
I've noticed the "Yeah" is one of many forms of affirmation used in criminal circles in many different cultures. Criminal parlance tends to be dominating and often ends in the speaker verbally assuming that the listener agrees with their statement.
Jimmy Cagney often used "Yeah" at the end of statements when playing gangsters and in the UK "know what I mean" and "Ya get me" are a couple of affirmation examples that serve the same purpose as the last bookend to a sentence.
London villains often use "understand". New York mafia often use capisce (also understand) "get my drift" and "know what I'm saying"
I'm sure people can think of more examples. Long post, but I thought it was interesting.
Thanks so much Danny for your message and feedback!
Right......right........right......FFS
I believe it's called the vernacular
Terry stone why has nobody done a kenny noye interview. Hes the man who been round all the criminal underworld
I've already asked him but I very much doubt you will ever see him on a podcast
Most of us wont get to 80 years old so before you leave a muggy comment show some respect.
Much love yeah
S x
Exactly that 👏
Most of us did not spend our early life being a criminal and leaching off other working-class people, the guy might want to portray his past as being nothing more than a bunch of nice chaps who were just misunderstood nice guys but the truth is they were ruthless bullyboys who prayed on ordinary folk and looked the other way when young men were being abused, you might want to respect them I don't.
Why you watching it then you melt

Mate you have taking it to a new level every time you put one out smashing it 👍
Love the gangster underworld. My dad was best mates with Charlie Richardson in Springhill Prison. RIP dad and Charlie, you best be up there getting up to mischief ❤
Get Freddie Foreman on!
He'd be great but unfortunately he is in a home
Would have been a decent interview 15 years ago
Foreman dead less Terry gets a cristal ball to talk to him
@RoyGraves-l6m Young Graves, be very careful about telling lies about people, especially Freddie Foreman. Foreman is 92 years old and living in a care home. Alive and still kicking. I think you make apologies ASP before your name and address are passed on to Father Christmas so he can pay you a visit.
Nipper Read hated the Kray Twins. They took the piss out of him in 1964-1965 when they were arrested and charged with demanding money with menace. They got their firm members to take care of the evidence against them and pressure witness. They walked out of the Old Bailey in 1965 as free men looking smug as fuck leaving Nipper Read with egg on his face.
But a few years later Nipper Read had the last laught on the Kray twins. It was so personal for Nipper Read he stared to cry when the jury returned Guilty verdict at thier Murder trial in 1969.
Nipper Read also took every member of the jury all out for dinner after the Murder trial in 1969 to thank them for helping put the Krays away. That would be totally unheard of today. And if it ever did happen, it would probably result in a retrial
Also, Nipper Read wasn't finished there. After the Frank Mitchell trial when the Krays were found not guilty of his murder despite the grassing help coming from Albert Donoghue, who gave queen's evidence against the Krays and Freddie Foreman. Nipper read had one more humiliation for the Krays in particular Ronnie kray.
On the morning of the 4th July 1969 at 6.00am, Nipper read arrived at Brixton prison with a large escort of armed police in cars ready to escort Ronnie Kray and Chris Lambriano to Durham Prison. What made this even more personal was that he brought along his video camera and recorded the whole event.
Picture this, Nipper read with Ronnie Kray in a armed police escort being the 5 hour journey to Durham Prison while Nipper read video records the whole journey along what was then very empty motorways with very little traffic on them. They arrive at Durham Prison, the gates open, and he carrys on video, recording the transfer of Ronnie Kray and Chris Lambriano over to the Durham Prison guards. Then he drives back down to London, thinking who's laughing now Ronnie kray.
I find Nipper Reads behaviour in taking the jury out for dinner after the 1969 murder trial and the video recording of the journey from Brixton prison to Durham Prison with Ronnie Kray in the police escort rather distasteful and shows how very personal this became for Nipper Read. After Nipper reads death, his wife auctioned everything he kept regarding the Kray Twins arrest all the evidence and trial, including the famous video recording of him escorting Ronnie Kray to Durham Prison from Brixton prison.
Ronnie Kray always looked well-dressed in suit and boot. But in his Durham Prison mug shot on the 4th of July 1969, his tie is askew, and he looks rather dishevelled, and he looks mentally a broken man. I guess the reliability kicked in, and he now had 30 long years to think about what he had done in the past to find himself in this predicament. I don't think knowing Nipper read had personally escorted him from Brixton prison to Durham Prison, along with an armed escort of police would have made Ronnie very happy.
They were still very active even though incarcerated… I should imagine ‘bits and bobs’ would have gone missing from his life and family… dead people can’t tell stories 😂😂
Enjoyed that 👌 thanx both
Nice one 20 Covo
Tony Lambriano lived off his past, of being one of the kray firm and hanging around with the Krays, and being sent to prison in 1969 with them. He made a good living out of it. He was 10 years younger than the Krays. I don't know why he wanted to be their friends. They never respected any of the Lambrianos brothers and just used them. It's very strange how the Lambrianos brothers bum-licked the Krays when they were free and running East London. But after both Chris and Tony are released from thier 15 years in prison, They both wanted nothing to do with the Krays and never even went to visit them in prison, which I think was disrespectful on their part. Or was it they couldn't face seeing the Krays because they both know they grassed them up in police statements and at their appeals. Tony Lambriano once said, "Why couldn't the Krays admit to the Murder of Jack the hat and let the rest of them walk free." 5 years after the Krays convictions, Reggie wrote a book admitting killing Jack the hat. Tony famously said, " Did we all go to prison so Reggie could write a book" 🤣
If you didn't kill someone and went to jail for 15 years when you come out would you have wanted to visit them and be best friends with them?
@terrystone743 Hey Terry, meet me at Mile End Tube station for a straighter. It's about time you were educated, Terry
@user-ic1oe4li2i Well, that's an oddly specific venue for a ding dong with a stranger, and Mile End opens directly onto a very busy road. Are you trying to get everyone run over!
@@user-ic1oe4li2i 🤡🤡
😂😂😂@@user-ic1oe4li2i
Hey Terry you need to get Scottch Jack Dickenson on the podcast. He was also a grass who put a nail in the Kray Twins coffin. He drove Ronnie Kray and Ian Barry to the Blind Beggars pub and waited across the road in his car. Ronnie and Ian got out and went into the Beggars and we all know what happened next. When they both returned and got back in the car Ronnie yelled " I have done it, I have shot that Bastard Cornell" well Scottish Jack was arrested on the morning of the 8th of May 1968 in the early morning dawn raids on the Kray firm. And they were all rounded up some 28 men. He was Charged with Murder but he decided to grass and give evidence against them at the Old Bailey and he walked free. He was a very well respected member of the firm I can't belive he grassed them up. His evidence along with the barmaids evidence against Ronnie kray and Ian Barry was dynamite for the police and the prosecution along with other witness evidence Ronnie's flat denials that he wasn't the man responsible for Cornells death clearly didn't wash with the jury. He was found guilty by all jury members for the Murder of Cornell.
Will see if we can get him on
@@terrystone743 Scotch Jack, Ronnie's and Ian Barrie's driver on the night of the Cornell murder died in 2014 I believe.
