  • In may 2014 we visited Morocco on our adventure bikes. It was an unforgetable adventure, it was tough but oh so beautifull!
    Enjoy!

    Great video. Those rocky roads are complex but once you get to learn how to deal with them, it's actually natural, but though anyway. Greetings from The Andes in Southamerica. Thanks for sharing.

    The exhaust has a pleasing note to it.

    Looks amazing. Getting through customs didn't look as bad as some of the stories I've heard.

      If you don't know how it works, I can understand it can take some time. The most important is to get a stamp for your passport and the papers for your bike. The best thing is to let some people fill in the papers for you, like you can see in the video, and give them some money. They know what to do, and who to speak to. ;-)

    Very nice vid. Some difficult stone passages would be great for Quad... :D thx, for that vid.

    You’d rather break something on your bike which will strand you and your mates, rather than walk it to safety. Makes perfect sense.

      Even in the Dakar, riders will walk/run their bikes.

    Nice adventure and vid. I saw that you change the rear suspension [shock], try to do something with that useless front fork, and you'll and up with a 10x better bike.

    Great Ride mate! I'm planning to buy F800 GS Adventure soon. I saw a few riders in the video on 1200 GS as well. What's your feedback on 1200 GS vs 800 GSA on such terrain? As I live in Australia and have plenty of similar roads in the outback so will be good to hear your opinion.

    • @KennyHendrickx
      @KennyHendrickx  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rohit Sharma Go for the F800GSA, you will have a lot more fun offroad ;-). The F800 is the perfect bike for this. The 1200 is a very good bike but it's just to heavy for offroad, it only has more comfort on the highway.

      Thanks, Kenny Hendrickx I test rode quite a few bikes and finally bought the KTM Adventure 1190. It's an amazing machine.

    • @arkansaswookie
      @arkansaswookie 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rohit Sharma What did you like about the KTM 1190 overall? Any comparison to the BMW 800 gs? I am considering a KTM as well, and have only rode the 1200 & 800 BMW's so far. Safe travels Rohit! Cheers.

    What exhaust are you running on the F800GS? The one you have sounds really nice and throaty, and doesn't feel too loud in the videos. I like it!

    • @KennyHendrickx
      @KennyHendrickx  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      it's the akrapovic one

      Wow, that's the best sounding akra on the F8. I've been mulling one of those, but damn, those are expensive. Saw your farkles video, sweet looking bike!

    I agree Xerra, and leave any BM-boxer at home for this stuff, the 800 is superior to that clumsy heavy buffalo.... you can't lift it yourself? Then leave it at home!

    • @reksubbn3961
      @reksubbn3961 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Iz Meorbin i agree. i dont understand why you would ride an adventure bike that you cant pick up on your own. But it is good to see the bikes actually used in the dirt. Not like all those reviews that use sealed roads with the occasional ride in a gravel parking lot!

      Obviously they can, as they went to Morocco and back in a fantastic trip with their bikes and their mates. It must suck being such a good rider that nothing is challenging for you.

  • @letsplayskatch

    I see you pointed out your ABS kept kicking in. Did your GS not come with the option for turning that off? I know the new F800GS Adventure has that option, thats all. Maybe its a new thing.

    • @KennyHendrickx
      @KennyHendrickx  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      I forgot to turn the ABS off after starting the bike. When you stop the bike and start the bike again, you will need to turn it off again.
      It's annoying because when travelling in a group, I shut down the bike when waiting for the others. And when I start the bike again, I forget to turn off the ABS sometimes.

      Kenny Hendrickx Use the kill switch rather than the key and it should stay turned off :)
