I live here in south central Louisiana. I was born here and I love it. It is a place like no other. We always look for an excuse to have a good time or have a "house party" like this one. If you came here and asked one of us to show you a good time and you don't enjoy yourself...that's your fault. We are going to have a good time showing you a good time and you will eat some of the best food you have ever had. Bien merci, C. Thibodeaux

I first saw Southern Comfort in the early 80's. Once I heard the music I really got turned onto Cajun Music. Once you do some research & discover the Dewey & Rodney Balfa & their influence on the music, and Dewey & the other band playing members appearing in the movie. For me to explain to friends it's like watching a movie & the backing band is John Mayall, Jeff Beck, Leon Russell & Eric Clapton( to put a different contemporary slant on it or influential musicians), When I went to New Orleans(from Australia), I headed straight to the bars that played Cajun & sat & listened. Loved every minute
