Great work as always, Mic! Though I personally follow a whole-foods, plant-based diet for my personal health, I've gotta thank the Berg/Berry/Baker/Saladino cartel for helping me shore up my long-term financial health. When I first went plant-based back in late August of 2023, I wasn't aware of "diet wars" (the extent of my social media interaction was watching gardening videos on TH-cam...love growing my food). In the beginning of 2024, once I saw the how much power the artery-clogging paleo/low-carb/keto/carnivore message has on the masses (i.e. successfully convincing them that high LDL isn't detrimental), I divested a very small portion of my index funds and redirect the fund to 5 well-positioned pharmaceutical stocks. In 2 months, my S&P 500 fund is up 7%...my 5 pharma stocks are up 13%.
I'll be happy if during my lifetime the whole-foods, plant-based concept catches fire on a more wide-spread scale (good health really does feel amazing)...but it's hard to imagine any amount of heart disease is going to convince people that suffer that it was the food all along...

Thank you for your testimony. I am very glad about your diet and applaud your healthy diet. You are well done in diet and health.
Thanks a lot for exposing big pharma. Please you really need to make videos about this or make documentaries about this. How big pharma sponsored meat industries use misinformation to get people sick and offer false "quick fixes" to gain profit. They also do this by using tax payers' own money, too, by heavily subsidising cruelty ridden big pharma big agro and big animal industries and big processed food industries. Basically they are using lies and manipulations to mislead people to sicken and slowly kill themselves using their own money in a very secrete and vicsious way under the pretense of caring about people's health!
But, How do you plan to use your wealth for the good? I guess, I have to ask, if you yourself prefer to stay healthy by following a healthy diet, don't you wish other people that you love or who will potentially help you, like your family, your futher generations or your friends and business partners to escape the snares of the big pharma and be healthy too?
Any way, since I sincerely wish everyone, including total strangers, to be healthy, I personally will never invest in big pharma or their sponsored industries, and help them further intensify all sorts of misinformation, and cause all life including microbes, fungi, plants, animals and people to suffer more unnecessarily globally.
I'd rather to be poor on paper and in numbers and have nothing to do with this evil world forever. But I know I am wealthy in truth and compassion.
      God bless!

I am a nurse specializing in cancer care particularly with blood born and lymphatic system and radiation therapy. If you feed a patient with lymphoma and undergoing treatment that patient is doomed as the treatment can lower down your immune system meaning the parasites present in meat can affect the patient with lymphoma and leukemia. I got into discussion in the comments section under a pro Carnivore diet video. He said our colon was too short to digest plants properly. I replied that our gut was not that different to a chimp or bonobo gut. Several replies went back and forth. You could tell that he knew he was on shaky ground and hadn’t looked at reliable sources of information about primates. He needed a strong argument to end the conversation.
He said that part of his colon had been removed so personally needed a calorie dense high protein diet. I did not know what to say. A guy, who may even have had colon cancer, it could well have been made more likely with a high red meat diet, is promoting a very high red meat diet to everyone else. I was stunned, it was surreal.

    EPIC-Oxford: Cancer Mortality (2016)
EPIC-Oxford (Appleby, 2016) found no difference in all cancer mortality between vegetarians (including vegans) and regular meat-eaters (0.93, 0.82-1.05). Vegetarians had lower rates of death from pancreatic (0.48, 0.28-0.82) and lymphatic (0.50, 0.32-0.79), but not colorectal, lung, breast, or ovary cancers.
After excluding participants who changed diet categories during the study, vegetarians had a lower risk of all cancer (0.82, 0.72-0.94), and similar findings as above for the other cancers.
Vegans suffered from 67 deaths from cancer, with a rate not significantly different from regular meat-eaters (1.14, 0.88-1.47).

Lastly one thing that always makes me wonder is how they all claim to only consume grass fed beef but obviously have not seen how impossible that would be for the majority of beef suppliers. The amount of land it would take... Perhaps the feed lots feed them with grass then call it grass fed? But I don't think most folks think of it that way...instead believing their meat was walking in beautiful pastures grazing on grass before they ate them? 🤔

TVA (while a trans-fat) is not a hydrogenated oil. It occurs naturally. Hydrogenation is a process in which unsaturated fats in seed oils are converted into saturated fats by adding hydrogen molecules. The result is a trans-fat which has proven to be deleterious.
Recent studies have shown that TVA have potential benefits including anti-inflammatory properties, improved cholesterol levels and conversion to beneficial conjugated linoleic acid.
The study discussed here, found TVA enhance anti-tumor immunity by activating CD8+ T cells. TVA has potential to be a supplement to complement clinical treatments for cancer.

about killing helpless animals to exploit and eat them. Healthy for cancer? ha ha, not at all.
Hormones stimulate growth, including that of cancer and tumors.
What is ovelooked by carnists is the smelly stinky effect of eating animals on human fluids and also bathroom smells, including issues of chronic superglue constipation. It takes a dedicated whole plant vegan more than a year, and maybe even several years, to eliminate the smelly cemented residues of dead animals trapped inside the human body.
Mr. SALAD heavily promoted 'nose to tail" and bragged about it, then two years ago started adding
FRUIT and WHITE RICE to his cadavers eaten. Why no coming clean and admitting his "diet" was unhealthy and inadequate, as critics kept telling him?. I would guess that he was desperately missing FIBER, VITAMIN C, and MINERALS, not to mention variety, in his carnist diet regimen..
