I think it's just a draw with correct play since the bishops can't attach eachother , main point to keep in mind is that your bishop should win the opponent's pawns or coverr the promotion square and keep your pieces on the opposite color of the opponent's bishop , i think

For those wondering, the tactic at 24:57 was after ...Bg4 you do Bxf7+ Kxf7 Ne5+ Kg8 Nxg4, so now material is equal and you have a lead in development, so you have the benefits of the gambit without the drawback. Black also doesn't have the right to castle so it's harder to connect the rooks. Engine says it's +2 for white :D

67 minutes in. After watching chess content during the pandemic, I finally decided to start learning. Made my account on Feb 2nd and beat a 1400 bot a couple weeks ago, which finally gave me enough confidence to start playing real people. Been watching a ton of your content, you make great videos. Still need to learn openings though.

1:14:00 - This was my best take away from this video. Look at your structure more as you use pawns. I am currently at 1200 5 min blitz and this is exactly the kind of stuff i get stuck at. I get out of the opening, i get into the middle game and then i'm quite often wondering which pawn to push to attack in any closed position. So this is a new way of thinking for me.

Thank you for all the great content, lately especially for the chess history, great stuff. Would you be interested in making a video about chess history from a broader perspective, for example how the prevalent playing styles changed in different eras, important theoretical discoveries etc.? Id love to know more about these topics and you are such a great teacher and presenter. Thanks!

Levy here I found a great move which wins the bishop:
Your dark square bishop moves out of danger to a7 (not to b6)
And after that, u play rock to b6 (or b7 or b8- just expose his a2 rock).
His rock must move and after he moves, no matter where - u win his b2 bishop sence it has no guard anymore :)

Love your your win at Chess episodes Levy. I’ve watched them all multiple times. Your passion for the game and sharing what you know combined with your talent for teaching and highly entertaining commentary sets you apart from every chess streamer out there. I understand your hesitation in going through what it will take to become a GM. It will not enhance your online presence which is substantial. That said, in your choose field it does seem to be the logical next step. How can you incorporate your work with your online business with preparing for the classical chess tournament play need to gain GM status?
