- I never played this one til yesterday and practiced for about 2 hours. This was one of those BS(Broadcast Satellaview) games only released in Japan, but the ROM has been dumped awhile ago. It has new & graphically enhanced vehicles with new tracks, but only has one league. So what you see is what you get. I still really enjoyed this. New tracks were exciting! I think I'm done with F-Zero for awhile.

it would be very cool if they brought these tracks to 99
Very true.
I'd love to see the ships myself
They are
@@StarVerix but the ships ;...;
Man the last lap in Sand Storm 2 was crazy 🗿
Supposedly, there are files within F-Zero 99 that indicate that they will eventually bring the BS F-Zero 2 courses to the game... Hopefully they do!
Hope so.
I think id 100% dominate the game with some of the cars in bs F zero 2
Hope they bring the cars too!
We may have to wait since we will not know if the remaining courses will appear. The data can be placeholders, similar to how the Old Sea Chart event was implemented in Pokémon Emerald but the said item was only given away in Japan.
@@LuigiTheMetal64 It's different now, the Game Boy Advance hasn't a unified digital publishing platform like the Switch. Nowadays an update for the japanese client would be an update for all clients, there's no different versions like in the past. What language is displayed and what features are enabled depends on the settings of the console, but the files for every supported language are present in all builds. A friend of mine buys regularly from Japan and most games has English or even Italian (our own language) already in the cartridge. There's no reason for Nintendo to release new cars for F-Zero 99 only in Japan, it would happen just for a matter of publishing rights, but the cars in BS F-Zero 2 are Nintendo's own.

We need to F-zero 99.
Very nice piloting skills!
Still find it odd that the vehicles look semi realistic.
It's like they sit between the vehicles of the first F-Zero and the ones in F-Zero Maximum Velocity.
Sadly they didn't make a full game on cartridge out of this. I would have bought it.
Impressive.
I know it has been quite some years my dude, but can you please help me out or point me to a place where I can get this game/ROM/patches so I could give it a shot? I tried everything that I could think of
Are the machines modified or is just the O.G ones with changed sprites? Looks faster than blue falcon
The machines in the satellaview games are all different. Can't say i know why they changed them, but it'd be cool to see them again
Eae,,n
Ew, imagine playing this traditionally 4:3 aspect and then STRETCHING it because “I don’t like borders”. What a shame.
