Glad Beasts were my favorite deck to play back in the 5D's Decade Duels game back on Xbox, the memories in that game I reached top 100 on the leaderboard.
Adding the Tri-Brigade engine makes this deck incredible! Hard to brick and allows you to create an even more full board with lots of negates. It’s gotten me to plat 1 twice now. Love it!!!

Those Gladiator Beasts plays are a solid 1000 IQ play.
GB were the first and only deck I used when trying DL back when it was first released. It's always nice to see how the engine can adapt to the current state of the game

YT Dan is still the only one on TH-cam who actually understands the deck ;) My build is way different from Dan's but still follows the same principle of Going Second Dragases Turbo. Editor + a body = full board with 6-11 negates. I love it.

Albeit, I agree, the Dragases philosophy is killer.
I run the Lighting Storm, Go 2nd, Trip Cat build.

@@MirageUchiha I'm experimenting with no cats or rabbits and it's working pretty well. Cat's a 1-card full combo, but its normal summon just blocks you sometimes. So I replaced them with more Tri Brigades for more flexible openers (which also justified me adding a Revolt and a Bearbrumm) If Tris get hit too hard on the first banlist, I'll probably add the Cats back in :P

It's like the secret sauce they were missing for a true top tier, full-combo deck!
I run a playset of each Tri-Brigade.
Nerv, Frak, Kitt.
But I tech x2 Kerass.
The extra one comes in handy A LOT. Throws people off. 😆

Gladiator beasts is one of those fan favorite archetypes. And I hope it get a support that can make it to tier 3
Gladiator beast with tri brigade engine plus hand traps are deadly going second and even first, depends on your starting hand. Check Dan legendary duelist channel, his ideas for deck and combos have brought GB back to be a deck you can compete against meta decks.
This deck released in 2007 or something. And it has already received so many support even till this day just to make it somewhat playable. Meanwhile there are other decks that have never received any support. So I dont think it needs more support.
glads are fine. pyros need support.

With tri Brigade it's really insane
Gladiator Beast was the first deck I built in the master duel. It got weak as the ranks went up, but right now I feel motivated to play with them again.

The tri brigade and gladiator beast is one of the best variation of this archetype, it just adds up consistency. I personally call it Brigade of Gladiator Beast.

I am also one of the few who play Glad Beasts! Honestly the more consistent version of this deck has the Tri Brigade engine just cuz its Tri Brigade lol. Deck dies to hand traps if you play a more pure version. Honestly if your normal summon Rescue Rabbit or Cat gets negated its literally pass turn LOL. Can't test tiger unless you have comeback in hand but what are the odds right. You can only have so many Perfect hands.

I use a GB/tri brigade deck. The amount of negates on your final board is insane. And this deck is underated, most of the time, your opponent doesn't scoop and let you play and show your powerness.
Really funny and good archetype
I remember people telling me how Glads will be horrible in Master Duel. Apparently they just started playing Yugioh or they'll know how Glads ruled back in the day
From personal experience, Gladiator Beasts are a lot of fun in Master Duel, the problem is they have a ceiling. It's a good deck to play UNTIL higher ranks, but you'll start losing more often than not in higher ranks. Especially if you lose the coin toss and go up against a meta deck.
Gladiator Beast is one of my favorite archetypes and this deck is so fun too play

That is EXCTLY why I run Pentestag in Skull Servants. Doesn't matter if they choose your attack targets if you deal piercing.
The deck looks interesting but with how expensive building any deck is, it would be really nice if we could get a deck tier list based not just on power but also on 'how fun it is to use the deck'. Something interesting and fresh, not the same old drytrons and tri brigades bs.
Fun is kinda hard to tier with how subjetive it is. You gotta search that up, there is a Lot of info about arquetypes, from playstyles to recipes, on the net.
I'm playing GB Tri, I could tell you GB Tri very powerful deck it on far with dry Tron and it's very versatile too if you play turn 1 you can set up tri-brigade play and turn 2 you can play gladiator, mostly you will always play gladiator on turn 2. It's very fun to play with tag out mechanic but honestly it become boring after awhile bcs literally gb Tri has one line combo.

@@donpollo619 when u put zoodiac and tribrigade on the same deck, they're simply running on their own. meanwhile gladiator brigade is helping each other to build your field setup, so the comeback is more promising
@@donpollo619 imo GB Tri more powerful than any other Tri brigade varians hence it can make 6-8 negates end board consistently. End board appo(monster negate), domitianus(monster negate+battle control), tamer(defender can't be destroyed by battle), heraklinos (more like herald but spell/trap negate)

Been using gladiator beast's since I first started master duel. It was actually my first deck and also my favorite deck on duel links witch is why I went with gladiator beast's on here. For not being a top tier op deck, I do win a decent amount of duels with them especially with Domitianus

My favorite archetype! I haven't built a Rescue Rabbit yet but I've got a Rescue Cat/Tri build and a Prisma build.

I used pure glad beasts but it's too bricky. so I enslave tri brigade just to summon dragases then pop off. end board could end with simorgh/3-4 mat apollousa, domitiANUS and haeraklinos. funner way to bring out negates lol

Glad beast was my friends pet deck
Glads are way stronger than this! You can consistently get out boards with at least 6 negates, or more depending on hand size, with the option of going Barrier Statue. Tri-Glads are sturdier and play through handtraps better, but even with pure you can fill every monster slot with thicc friends who don't let your opponent play.
They're not much better. Handtraps can easily stop the deck regardless. Good if the deck picks up speed early on though.
@@MichiganWinteriswhyimhere The reason why Tri Glads are so good in best-of-1 is because using Ash on Fraktall is the correct play against Tri-Brigade, but NOT against Glad beasts. So Fraktall is an incredibly powerful Ash bait. The Tri's also give them plenty of 1-card full combos, so you have so much room for cards like Called By and Crossout. You can slim your main engine down to around 20 cards if you wanted to, and fill the rest with going-second cards and anti-handtrap stuff. The only handtrap they hard-lose to is Nibiru, since usually the earliest you can get out Domitianus is summon #6.

I play with Tri Brigade engine and need to fit handtraps so my deck is 45 cards. Recently i play vs Banish 50K LP deck, lock their SS with Stormwinds and wipe all their LP

Going Second plays through Ash like crazy. You either bait it with Fraktall or you can get out double Dragases so they can only stop one.
