How does that work? If you can’t play any cards or activate effects in response to droplet doesn’t that basically guarantee it resolves before you can pop or negate anything?

Droplet is only spell speed 4 to whatever you discard for cost and since the opponent only discarded spells and monsters Dkayed could still chain traps. You have to "choose that many effect monsters" so if the opponent can't choose 5, then Droplet can't resolve it's effect.

DESPIA gave me a lot of dead hands many times and I depended a lot on their field magic for fusions.
I love everything about the despia archetype and every time i see a video with despia it puts a smile on my face, I honestly can not wait for them to put the rest of the branded support cards they added in the TCG to hit master duel so we can have Albaz as the true king of fusion summons.

Man, I can relate to his saltiness whenever I face against a player who does not only top deck, but also has the perfect hand to counter my plays while I basically get a potato draw.
Running gamma and 3 tragedy will up the consistency a lot. Allure + tragedy op. Also the gamma won’t be summoned by reasoning and can still be used for fusions
@@jetherarroz1118 I dont think foolish is completely necessary. U can try to play less darklord contact. Usually other lists only use the negate darklord trap or the negate and the destroy. I like the mind control one tho so its up to u. Not to mention the deck has two engines which search each other very easily so you could easily go over 40 cards to about 45 or so and still be very consistent bc u have like 20 starters that search ur other engine

The deck dyaked use is mostly to mill the cards and send stuffs into the graveyard. Milling as hard as he can to get the engine to start combo-ing. Running hand traps mostly to survive going 2nd. Sadly it brick easier if you go 1st with handtraps.

Love the Darklord, but Darklord is one of those deck that good in the theory but bad on the action. everything have hard once per turn, and depends on graveyard which they cant fill easily (even with Despia's support). just waiting for the last Darklord (Envy) and hope its effect gonna fix this problem
Winning against true draco might be more satisfying than winning against meta. Beat one today and my final attack was with a 5300 att accesscode that i specifically summoned for bm as the guy only had 600 lp left and I had lethal anyways. Fuck this deck

It is really good deck if you know what to do. What you need to add in my opinion is lighting storm nad harpies feather because this deck has a huge problem with trap card flagates but other than that this is actually good

So i made a n/r rarity deck with the fake albaz dragon and the irondash dragon combined with Theatre of despia and even when my despia tragedy and marshmacaron got killed in battle, theatre wouldnt trigger to revive my irondash dragon in grave? I read them all like 6 times and nothing on the field to my knowledge should have prevented it. My opp was playing random n/r dragons.
omg I was literally playing this exact deck all last week. It's so crazy to see a video on it now. Not sure how I feel about a video on it. I like playing things that haven't reached large audience and now that's gone:(

I've seen a lot, but none of them were focused on a long grinding loop that aims on turboing out the first darklord by running triple theater and other stuff focused on this specifically. Most were running a single first darklord and 1? maybe 2? theatre and instead trying to cram in more despia centric stuff, or instesd trying to go too hard on the more useless darklord stuff. Their builds just weren't optimal. I kept thinking man they have it all wrong and are underestimating the targeting immunity and constant reviving and floating with theater and aluber. This just shouts to people who didn't catch onto this how to fix their suboptimal builds. It also makes the choke points more obvious to people unfamiliar with this strategy. I mean I'm guilty of this too. Maybe in a mirror match I see something my opponent does with their build that I had not considered and incorporate their idea into mine. The issue with videos like these with large audiences is that it accelerates this process. It increaese the rate to which we tend towards homogenity. I'm just not a fan of deck builds converging to a single version. It makes the meta more stale, esp seeing the same stuff over and over. Another example I can think of is the branded despia decks in tcg. Ofc they're innevitably super popular. Lots of people were sleeping on the meltdown-like effect of Branded Lostv(+ search eff), but its something I've always included. Over time I've seen more lists to begin running branded lost and this thereby removes my slight competitive edge. You'll likely see more people teching in Fairytail Snow to dodge certain things in order to ensure branded effects go through. More attention was draw to her inclusion for those who watch MBT's Chalislimr tournament. People who went hard on the frightfur patchwork build know this feeling all too well. This same concept can also be said for things like stock market strategies that generate you large alpha. The probability of generating alpha decreases and the extent to how large that alpha is decreases as more market participants catch onto and use your same approach. This convergence towards homogenity of strategies in things like stocks and card games almost seems par for the course. I want to enjoy competitive edges for as long as lossible and information density actively works against this.

Been playing this deck since Master Duel release, I found it alot better to have the Called by the Grave because Aluber seems to get Ashed alot, and sometimes that's the only play i have. Haven't ever been a fan of reasoning but it seems to be a good tech
Man posted a darklord deck yesterday and today my first two games in ranked were against two chumps using this exact same deck and quitting to my bird up board.....
Actually I encountered this deck 5 times and i won all matches against it not that worth it in my opinion but you have to finish it in that 2nd turn no chances all falls down once field spell get destroyed.
Yeah this deck is not really op because this deck doesn't have many support especially in despia cards and 1 harpie can messed up the field but as long as the player can negate right cards I think this deck can win games
