these decks have always been used, people just are ignorant and master duel meta does not encourage variety since you need to pay fucking money for literally anything, also most of his tournaments are rigged since you need to pay subscription ranks to enter and the bracket is easier for people who pay more

In no other official ygo can u make fully optimized meta deck for free, and if ur broke don’t worry about other cards be appreciative of the free deck u do have, let’s not forget the 4,000+ gems u get monthly just by doing daily challenges

You can actually use the Rank 4 Rikka XYZ to be trbiuted by the level 8 Ogdoadic and triggered its effect and summoning Sacred Tree. My favourite combo is usually end with Adventurer Gryphon, Hope Harbringer and Sacred Tree
The deck looks cool, but +10 in this deck is not as good as it sounds because you won't be drawing into any impactful cards since this deck has nothing but engines, that then is turned into a floodgate-ish board that could be accomplished with skill drain alone and loses to any forms of non monsters removal.
Yeah these videos use quite a bit of click bait. The decks are no more than mid range in power since you cant fit much handtraps other wise the deck cant combo and they dont really accomplish anything that any meta deck cant do like making baron, savage, and accesscode in one turn. Not to mention they are very expensive to craft since they use several specific UR cards that are not generic like the reptile monsters and spells. I have a pet deck and its fun but it's usually terrible going second and struggles to get into diamond. The replays are also showing mostly optimal playing conditions like going first and not getting interrupted or top decking good cards when your board gets broken.
@@Nathan-gk4wh 14:55 the recovery here doesnt rely on topdeck at all, it only affect tributing opponent baron which doesnt matter anyway as youre making draglubion and hitting a 0 atk token. the topdeck are only flex move
The Bishbaalkin combo is cool and all, but it's admittedly not the way to go with this deck. It's not resilient to disruption, and it would be much better when combined with archetypes such as Rokkets and the Adventure engine. There's many ways to take the deck from there, you can go with a handrip strategy with Aron and combining cards like Diablosis, or you can build it into a Grass deck with Chaos Ruler. I personally use it with Chaos and Dragon Link to combo off and end on a Firewall Dragon colinked to Rusty Bardiche and Apollousa, as well as 2 Fog Blades and a Snow in GY.

The problem I find with reptiles is that they generally are too vulnerable to disruption. I tried the deck for some time with different variations, but never managed to get above a certain threshold with them. I always found myself going back to Fossils, which I find much more resilient and better at countering anything that isn't Floowandereeze.

tbh, the issue here is that there are barely any reptile ed monsters (1 fusion, 5 synchro, 3 xyz and 3 link) and only 2 of them are good to end on, cosmic slicer and reptilianne melusine
@Nezzberry nah its mostly power creep swordsoul is beyond a far better deck than tri zoo and is more resistant and consistent and now brave synchro good stuff decks are better than even swordsoul tri zoo loses to any form of interruption on their normal summon but then again I always thought tri in general was an overhyped deck that loses to a single veiler or imperm
@Nezzberry not true the best decks can very easily play through 2-3 handtraps and end on a decent board with an average hand , tbh phantom knight also kind of suffers from the same problem as tri they pour all their resources into a single card in this case rusty and if it gets imperm veilerd the deck ends on a single dpe plus fog blade which is easy to deal with
I'm glad to see someone finally doing a video on reptiles, been playing em sense near start but only the Alien Ogdoadic, Chungus the Alien and kid board, basically the 10min way but not exactly the same. I didnt know it could get nuttier, also the new synchro last pack was really good. Btw 60 card reptile is pretty fun Btw x2 there's better cards for reptiles that arnt in here yet Alsoooo. It's a good no extra deck, Deck. Especially with the Ogdoadic stuff, wink wink
The alien community is master duel meta discord has been going hard optimizing the deck. We've been pretty happy with how far its come and hopefully more innovation can continue to happen.
It's an amazing deck no cap but we didn't see it play through no hand traps but still a bad ass deck I only play combo heavy decks lol so I really loved watching this
Yeah this is not a reptillianne deck there is 6-7 rep cards others are classic meta cards. There are no original decks anymore all decks nowadays are 30-40% same (hand traps,draglubion,halq,aurorodon etc.)
Because it's the only way most of them can even somewhat keep up these days. And if you can make them work, why not play them? Especially if they can help you win a game.

Most of the time you're not playing hand traps. Just digging for more reptile gas. Kinda like variable Dragon Link.
Borreload and baronne are two Omni negates tho? Plus skill drain is negating your own monsters too while this one is just on the opponent side
