Just want to say I really appreciate how much you showed about how Swordsoul is played with certain cards available and not available. It really helped gain an understanding of what works well with the deck as well as start visualizing what I might want to use before even seeing the master duel deck lists. Thank you, I’ve been looking for a synchro deck to make and I think this is gonna be the one!
Happy to see Master Duel is getting tons of updates across the board! Fingers crossed that we catch up to the other formats so we can eventually get sets around the same time

@@2mellow35 different format, it’s online, it’s f2p. I think the whole point of master duel was to have a simulator that’s actually good and hat Konomi can actually profit off of
@@griffin6738 exactly. The thing is master duel is a bit charming not being exactly like the irl card game. Still people want this simulator to be exactly that a better simulator than we already have.

My biggest reason for playing ancient warriors was the art, made it to platinum 3 sword soul art is definitely number 1 reason for playing them, but then being better than ancient warriors helps to 😂

I was already testing Tenyi and Yang Zing with rose dragon, but with swordsoul it will crush this meta.

Very informative video. I'm switching from Tri-Brigade-Zoodiac-DPE to Swordsoul Tenyi in Master Duel. DPE is a great counter to Tri-Brigade in my experience and it doesn't do well with Bearbrumm because you can't get TB Revolt and DPE in the same turn basically. Swordsoul looks less clunky to play and that alone would be a reason to switch if it's as good as TB.
I'm in love with everything relating the Fallen of Albaz lore, so I'm really excited to play Swordsoul because here in México is veeeeery expensive, love your vids Dkayed! :)

Even in my current Tenyi YangZing deck I often have none or only tuners. Looking forward to seeing how swordsoul changes the synchro dynamic and if future archetypes will also be summoning tuner tokens.

Happy update day! I'm almost ready for swordsoul coming into MD. I'd build beforehand Tenyi Rose dragons so I have a baseline for completing it with swordsoul cards, but I also pulled a Royal Sunlight Wolf and I kinda like Salad so all saved gems were spent on this. Down to 2k and a dream. It's almost time to craft Verte and DPE and jam them in every other deck possible.
Was getting so tired of the meta in master duel and will be very glad to see Tenyi Swordsoul finally rise up to shake things up.

Melee smash never got an update in 22 years and the meta still evolves. Yugioh players dont want to improve. They want an easy deck to exploit for free wins and complains when they lose

I've been running Tenyi pretty much since I *started* playing Master Duel, and I always felt a little annoyed people acted like Tenyi could *only* be good once Swordsoul was out. Yeah, it's not Tier 1 or anything, but Tenyi is still plenty good with what we already had. I didn't even see much of it in the N/R Festival, even though I was *dominating* Megalith and Metalfoes decks the whole time with them. It got even better once Baronne was in the game and you could use the Halq/Denglong combo you mentioned.
Still, I'm glad people will finally be giving my wuxia ghost dragon bois their dues, and I'm 100% going to be blowing all my Gems on Swordsoul pulls for the next while.

Went back into playing yugioh ever since the 5Ds days and I'm loving this channel out of all that I have found
Sad to see Iris Swordsoul not in any of these lists since I pulled 3 of them but these are all very helpful to use as a reference!. Finally some good updates to the game, I have been playing Drytron 4 months in a row, after not playing YGO for the longest time and having to catch up to all the new decks.
I think to build a deck nowadays I use my pre-existing knowledge of the deck (if I have it) or previous decks I've made to start...then I check deck profiles for cards I've not heard of/refused to used due to stubborness and add them in to fill out the deck if I don't get 40 cards...if I don't have pre-existing knowledge first I try and gauge the usefulness of a card via it's effect (although I read a few cards before making final judgements) and build the beginnings of a deck before before again checking deck profiles, because the way I view deck profiles is, they aren't there for you to copy, they're there for the creator to show off the deck that's been built or the yugituber to show off a deck that's been built and showing what's worked for them, you shouldn't copy it card for card...you should use it as like a deck mold if that makes sense....an example is stevie blunder....while I've personally found two of his decklists (virtual worlds which is my fave and swordsoul) to be iffy, his swordsoul profile showed me a card I wouldn't have found otherwise so I added that to an almost complete build, this video reminded me of protos so I added that to the deck, I don't think the clickbait videos only get clicks from more competitive best deck builders, but also for those looking for inspiration for a deck..though it is interesting to see the analytics here.
Swordsoul was literally the deck I was going to make when I started playing Master Duel... then came to the sad realizatiom that building that deck was impossible, great to have a chance to build it now

This is a great basis to start from, will follow the Master Duel meta updates with interest. That said, part of me is now super interested in what they ran in Virtua World at the time. Seeing it was so big also in the meta.
Just recently made my first deck by myself and it’s pure vampires and while it may not be the most successful deck at winning it definitely is fun when it works but now I’m looking for something a little bit more success at winning and swordsouls would definitely be it

This would be the first meta shift for a lot of players, including me of course... Swordsoul looks insane, been reading how impactful it was both in TCG and OCG, but it is going to be intresting to see how it fares with MD unique banlist...

Definitely making this deck I usually don’t go for meta decks but this deck seems pretty simple
I might just build Swordsoul, the combos are cool and I love that it can go second. Right now my only deck that can go second decently is Sky Strikers, but even that has plenty of weaknesses

Honestly I'm excited for both sets because I want to make a swordsoul deck just to see what it's about and I already have my destiny hero deck because I've been waiting for enforcer and I don't want to use anaconda for him and my albaz deck is ready for the rest of his fusions in the other set

But with Swordsoul basically brings Tuner Token, it makes it extremely easier to use
