    Thank you, Terry if I want to check a selection I use the "Edit Quick Mask mode"; key option Q. It is easier to see if your selection and if you missed a spot.

      Great tip! I have used that method myself, but I didn't include it since I figured I could only show just so many options. Thanks for sharing, and now others have additional way to make quick selections.

    So happy to see a 2004 tutorial! I google tutorial for 2004 and you popped up! I have been using Photoshop for a long time since I used to pirate it. Self-taught with jumping for one video after another. Time to learn it and I'm sure I will with you!

    This is amazing! I have worked through videos 1 to 5 in just a couple of days, and I have learned so much! Learning Photohsop is turning out to not be as hard as I was expecting - thanks to Terry's great videos. Cheers. 🙂

      Yes! That is what I'm going for. Take some of the intimidation out of a VERY useful program.

    Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the time and effort you're spending on these tutorials Terry! You're a great teacher with immense knowledge and unlike some of these videos, you go slow enough for me to take great notes to practice from before moving on to the next lesson. THANK YOU!!

    Excellent series. Clear and straightforward. Re: sky replacement, I try to ensure that I take separate pictures of the sky on other days wherever I am shooting and load them into Photoshop so the replaced sky is mine, rather than some stock image. It makes my image more genuine.

    • @tv510
      @tv510  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, there are times I run out with my camera just because the sky is looking good. Not only is more genuine, some of the stock images aren't at the resolution of some of our cameras - the image fits better! Thanks for watching.

    Love the series... Super easy to follow!! One question Terry, do you color calibrate your monitor/screen?

    • @tv510
      @tv510  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for watching. Yes I have, however my most recent monitor the Mac Pro Display XDR doesn't seem to need any changes. Every time I check there is no change. So, no, I don't calibrate much anymore.

    How many pictures can you bring into photo shop at one time?

    • @tv510
      @tv510  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Edward, that mostly depends on your computer and how much RAM you have. I have brought over about 10 at time in some instances. Also, Photoshop will let you know if you are bringing too many at one time since it will slow your machine way down.
