MashaAllah BarakAllah! Sir, Your tutorial for Lightroom, is a true gem in the world of digital photography. Sir! Your passion for teaching and knack for breaking down complex techniques make mastering Lightroom not just achievable, but enjoyable. Thank you, for making Lightroom a little less mysterious and a lot more fun.
Most of the images you see, I shot. As I get into this series more, I pulled images from stock for the lessons so that people could do the same thing (download stock images) and follow along. I have always had large wall prints in my home and studio of my work and I encourage people to consider printing their work, it is quite gratifying. Thanks for watching.
Great video. Clear and to the point, without us needing to sit through drawn out, fiddly photo edits to get to the nitty gritty. So useful, I watched it twice.
A great selection of videos which I have spent most of my afternoon watching, now to work on some pictures at a slow pace to get them perfect. Thanks again Terry.
Wow, I've been using that into for a while now and no one has caught that or brought to my attention. Dang, it's on a lot of videos. I have to change up that into anyway. I'll fix it going forward. Thank you.
Thank you Terry for the videos. This video and the previous masking video are great for beginners. I will be sharing these videos with my brother who is learning Lightroom.
Awesome, That is amazing. Thank You, and I am still trying to learn to use Masking to reduce Hi-Ligthts on foreheads of Portrait Photos. i have a long way to go for sure. Your Teaching Amazing. ThanK You so very much for producing, and presenting them.
Hi Janis, I use the most recent version of LRC. I am part of the Adobe Photography Plan where you get both LRC and Photoshop together for $9.99 per month. As much as I don't like yet another subscription, I do get the most updated versions to work with as soon as they come out. So, to answer you question I am working on version 13.1 - Thanks for watching.
Thank you Terry for quick and kind response. Very in time. Now, I am using Nikon's apps, like View NX- and Capture NX-D. Its time to learn Lr stuff :). Once again, thank you very much and all the best in NY2024.
Hi! How do you save a new picture after made a mask in Lightroom Classic. I add new background to black, but when I go back from Develop to Library the background is deleted.
Lightroom Classic, doesn't have a "Save" feature. Everything is automatically saved, with every change you make. I just went in and tested it, by making a mask, changing the color and it was right there. Try making a "virtual copy" (right click pull down menu) of an image. That way you can compare your edited and unedited images, side by side.
I think it’s best to learn it yourself first. Then down the road, if you don’t WANT to retouch them, at least you will have an understanding of what a retoucher can do.
@@adameccleston554 you can only test them a few times and with contact to the company, maybe find out which individual is actually doing the work and address future work to that individual. Good luck!
once again I feel like I’ve learned something rather than be confused as I am on so many other videos, in which the “instructor” hurries things along way too fast. If you ever come to Moab, UT let me know….

Thank you for video you perfectly intrduce new LrC masking features. I have a short Q. What version of LrC do you work with? Thank you in advance.

If you wanted to include a shadow on the wood duck, could you do that in Lightroom or would you have to do it in PS?
I would probably do it in Photoshop, it would be faster.
@@tv510 FYI, it should have read "...shadow FROM wood duck."
Great stuff! Thanks. I better get into it. :)
Nice tuto ! merci pour le partage ;)
de rien, merci d'avoir regardé.
Thanks for this video)
Thanks for watching Anton! I appreciate it.
Terry, would you suggest editing our own photos or hiring a professional retoucher?
I think it’s best to learn it yourself first. Then down the road, if you don’t WANT to retouch them, at least you will have an understanding of what a retoucher can do.
