Thank you for sharing your detailed painting technique. I've been struggling painting with spectraflame paint. Showing how light you spray your tack coat and second coat was great. I sprayed some red on New Years and it turned out great.
@@WheelsNThangs For the 1-72 tap I use a 1/16” drill bit. I cut a piece so the bit fits almost completely inside the drill chuck. That way it doesn’t wobble and break.
found out that Mattel made bright vision stop selling these kits. I purchased three, assembled two and saved one in package. but mine was second hand meaning it did not have Brightvision packaging.

@@WheelsNThangs From what I've heard, HW send cease and desist letters to anyone who made reproductions. Haven't noticed if Bright Vision still sell some. Just checked, they still have the item, but it's written as out of stock. So, I'm not sure anymore.
That’s not a Brightvision can tell just by looking at it! Shouldn’t be bad mouthing BV the ones he sold were raw metal so you had to plate it or use a metallic base coat

Wow, I love hearing this! That's what the channel is all about. It's tricky to paint but once you get the hang of it, it's amazing paint!

Polished they have to be plated or metallic base coated because they are raw if it’s an Alpha! Omegas are plated and made by Tony only!
1-72 bottoming tap and 1-72 screws worked perfectly for me. 🎉

I thought HW cracked down on people making reproductions of that casting! Did you get it recently, or did you have it for a while?
