Great tips! I have never used Camtasia so I was wondering if the free version is full featured or are some features missing? Specifically, does it recognize multiple audio tracks when importing a single mp4 file. I have tried a few editors that do not. Also, is there a watermark or any limits on exporting the finished product? Thank you!
Hi, Camtasia has a limited 30-day free trail and it is the full version of the product minus the paid assets. In this video I showed free assets on my timeline and you would have access to the same ones. However, if you export a video during the trial, it will have a TechSmith watermark (I learned this during my trial.) If you then purchase the software the watermark can be removed even though you created the video during the trial. After the 30 days I do not believe there is any more options to use the software for free. I hope that helps.
