I agree. I have overlooked Samsung Notes for a while now. And upon using it with the S8, I couldn’t believe how well the app was designed. Most times device manufacturers overlook key features in the software. Samsung hit the mark here.

Thank Branden, for the great video. In the last few months, I decided that my day-to-day planning is not what it used to be, and your product is helping me take back control by adding more thoughtfulness to my day. This video helped me confirm that using Samsung notes is the best way for me personally to take notes. I can even use it on my Windows 11 laptop. Take care.
That is fantastic to hear! There is something about planning your life, vs scheduling it. So many people rely on google, apple and outlook calendars to schedule out life. What they find is the calendar owns their time vs them planning their time investment. May I ask how you are using Samsung Notes on your laptop?
After using the note for a while, the software has updated multiple times and now I notice my handwriting with the pen becoming much smoother and more beautiful. Spen suits well with notetaking, so do Samsung device
Thank you for the very information video! I'm glad they are finally starting to add good daily planners with hyperlink support for many devices out there. I use Good Notes for iPad and importing a daily planner similar to what you have done here. Penly looks to be a good app on the android store I'm thinking about using with my phone since it does offer S Pen support. I may use Samsung notes however, I like the look and feel of this planner. Waaay back in the day, I used a paper planner and binder from Franklin Covey and I loved it. Basically everything you see here except in a book format with Yearly updates for Month, day, activities, contacts, notes, etc... Thanks again!

I will play around with it this weekend. I am loving this. No more scribbling and using white out in my book planner. It was getting so messy!
You should be able to import the pdfs into the planner. I would suggest import them under a note. This way you can easily access them from the key page.
Are you able to write on the screen while resting your writing hand (side of hand) on the screen like it were paper? How is the recognition for that? I wouldn't like it if the side of my hand was constantly activating buttons and such.
I started using the S-pen and now I have a small version of Samsung Notes floating over the full screen version and can't close or shut off the small one. Crazy. Thanks for your videos Sir.

Great to hear. We have the planner available on our website. It starts at $17 and is a instant download. You can open directly in your samsung device. There is a link in the description to the planner shop.
My tablet should be here within a week. It sounds like the samsung planner is already installed. Does that include the hyperlinks that you showed in the weekly and daily sheets or is that something I will have to do myself or import? I'll never get around to all that so I am hoping it is ready to go. Looks real nice!

Our planning system has always worked with Samsung notes, however we just never promoted it because we were not confident with the functionality. We stand corrected, it’s a solid app.
I agree. The functionality seems to exceed that of the OneNote experience. Invested in the pricey IPad along with OneNote but it pales in comparison to what this video showcases. Branden, which do you honestly prefer?
Hello Branden, Just starting to use Samsung Notes and your tutorial was helpful! Although I'm a novice starting off with my Fold 3 and my Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, how do I get that event planner that your showing here on this video? Thx

Hi I'm thinking of purchasing the ultra for school use. I'm a teacher, and I need a tool I can use under a visualiser for annotating. I'm wondering if the cost for the planner is a one off cost or monthly/annually etc?
My understanding is it is a yearly purchase. Think about paper planners, each year we need purchasing a new book, with some needing the purchase of other papers as well.
Hi that was great .. I recently got FOLD 3 & I am interested in digital planner for the FOLD in connection with Samsung notes .. what is the best , simple planner to be used > please provide the link
Hi great video - how do you get by syncing an online calendar now you have this electronic pdf calendar? Thanks and very exciting concept, great clear video also
Thank Branden. I never knew Notes had all those features. I use a Samsung A54 phone. If it can sync to a tablet that would be sweet. I'm thinking about getting a Samsung Tablet to use for my tree service business. I'm not sure which one to get. One priority is a newer model, so it would be supported for several years. Do you have any other suggestions? Also, do you like using the attachable keyboard?
Hi, thank you for your tutorial. Which parts from K2s-planner are you talking about? I bought recently Samsung tab s9 ultra and want to have all you talked in the video. To start using my planner, I need a Samsung note and additions as k2s-planner? Am I correct? What's a price for it? Thank you.

I am so new to this!! How do I get the planner (where do i get it) into samsung notes on my s22 ultra? I've tried to upload a pdf file in but it says that i cant upload more than 5 mb
Thanks for this, it's super helpful, although I can't seem to duplicate pages or add pages o the s6 light. It doesn't have that icon that shows all your pages :(
Thank you very much for your help. I have a big problem with writing on my phone screen. I don't know how to save my every single word that I write on pdf pages while I am writing my homework If I accidentally touch on the back button, it clears all the writings that I have written.
How easy is it to use a pre written document with blank sections that I can add text / drop down options? as I want to use it for workplace inspections. Thank you 😊
Great video, thank you for sharing! When I type a note, then I write on the note my format gets distorted. Is there a way to "lock" what I write so even if I add more when I type it won't change my format? Thank you
Hi! Great videos and very informative. Sorry if I missed this, what if I have a Fold4 and Galaxy book 2 pro and a XPS notebook. It is possible that they can sync each other?
Yes if both devices are using Samsung notes and share the same cloud account with Samsung. Then yes they will sync between devices. Also another option is onenote which will sync across platforms.
Like your videos. You do a good job of explaining everything. I have a question though. Is there a way I can sync 2 S22 ultras together for these notes. For me and my wife? Cuz the share button doesn't really work for keeping the same planner notes.
You could do this if you shared the same Samsung cloud account. Have two planners one for each of you and then allow those to share across the device. Other option is just OneNote and share the planner account accounts. We would be happy to help you set that up.
Thank you for the video this is great. There's one thing I'm not able to figure out. How did you get the Planner with the tabs on the side? I can't find this on my Samsung Note app. Appropriate any intake. Thank you.
He loaded it in as a PDF. Its not from Samsung, its from him. He sells it on his website (in descrption) and then you can upload it to Samsung Notes and edit it there
On my Samsung Ultra tablet (or phone), I'm not seeing the Planner as shown? What am I missing? Is this perhaps an additional download or template? Edit - I see now, it's a separate purchase - the templates are really nice! 👍

In opinion though note-taking is about the ability to be able to handwrite your notes. That is not an option with Evernote, so I stopped using it a few years ago. Thanks for the Sub.

I will play around with it this weekend. I am loving this. No more scribbling and using white out in my book planner. It was getting so messy!
You should be able to import the pdfs into the planner. I would suggest import them under a note. This way you can easily access them from the key page.
Super tutorial. Thanks for sharing
You’re welcome 😊 Any other thoughts for content that you would like to see?
I have tab s6 lite and galaxy s10 plus, i can't see any companion mode available on my device, is it only limited to newer devices ?
Great tutorial! It was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks.
Thanks. That’s to hear. Let me know if you have ideas for other content.
how do you create a cover for your notes like the planner? I want to have a cool and unique cover for each of my notes but I can't figure this out.
like a cover to the book? It is normally the first page of your notebook or pdf.
I use Canva!
Whew! finally figured it out. That floating version would be useful if it floated over other apps, but floating over itself doesn't make much sense.
Great to hear!
Please, please tell me you have a version for iphone users. This planner looks so so good
Yes you could use our planner with goodnotes, noteshelf or notability on the ios platform. You can find more information and start a chat with our team at www.key2successplanner.com
How did u find the planner layout I loved it would like to find this? Loved the video 😊
You can find the planner here: Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
i cant get it too fuk
Great video!!! How did you get the button to show up for Samsung Notes companion mode? I have both the S8 Ultra & S22 Ultra and the option just isn't showing up for me. What software version are both the apps runnning and what security patch are the devices on?
I have the same question! I'm also trying with the US models of the Tab S8 Ultra (128GB) and S22 Ultra (T-Mobile, 256GB).
You can find the planner here: Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
If you have the Samsung Notes application open on both devices with the planner open, when you click out of reading mode into writing mode you will get the option to use the tools.
How can I get a planner on my Samsung note? I really enjoyed your video.
Congrats on the new device. You must have been good this year! As for the planner, Samsung Notes comes pre-installed on Samsung devices, however the planner is an add on that you need to download from Key2Success. Here is the link: Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
@@bodendorfer Thank you!
For anyone who's still having trouble setting up collaboration view (using your phone as a toolbar/pallet) and have followed all the steps to the t please do the following... turn your tab to light mode... I'm not kidding this feature is not yet supported in dark mode. Hope this helps
Samuel, that is a great tip. Thanks for contributing.
My note app opens and when I click on add note (+) the apps disappears! 😳
I still don't get the collaboration icon even after turning off dark mode. Been struggling to that. It's frustrating. I have s8 ultra and m trying to collaborate it with my Note 20 ultra. I've reset my tablet still no good. Both apps are updated. Trying all I can but still can't find a solution. Please help. I feel like giving up on Samsung and go back to Apple ecosystem. Such a nice feature and I can't get it on my devices after spending a good amount.
When did you put this out for samsung note? I would have preferred that vs One Note.
Hello Branden,
Just starting to use Samsung Notes and your tutorial was helpful! Although I'm a novice starting off with my Fold 3 and my Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, how do I get that event planner that your showing here on this video?
Thx
Hello Gabe, The planner is actually something I developed. You can learn more about the planner and other professional tools we have on our website. Here is the link: Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
Thanks for this detailed walk through! Can we export a modified planner as PDF and continue editing in a different app if we ever wish to switch notetaking apps?
In most every case the answer should be yes. However once you export the pdf, those annotations are most likely not editable.
Hi
I'm thinking of purchasing the ultra for school use.
Yes. However you never have to pay to keep your notes from one year to the next.
Hi that was great .. I recently got FOLD 3 & I am interested in digital planner for the FOLD in connection with Samsung notes .. what is the best , simple planner to be used > please provide the link
Here is my suggestion. Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
There was a moment at 16:30 where he dismissed they keyboard with a gesture. How do you do that?
@Branden how can I download this pdf for my s7 plus tablet?
Hi, thank you for your tutorial. Which parts from K2s-planner are you talking about? I bought recently Samsung tab s9 ultra and want to have all you talked in the video. To start using my planner, I need a Samsung note and additions as k2s-planner? Am I correct? What's a price for it? Thank you.
The personal edition starts at $29. You can go to our website and see where you can download the planner, here is the link: Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
I have the S22 ultra. How did you get the planner for the samsung notes? I would love to get this for my phone and us for my notes.

How easy is it to use a pre written document with blank sections that I can add text / drop down options? as I want to use it for workplace inspections. Thank you 😊
I don't have the planner on my Ultra tab, where do get the one you show?
Exactly I'm looking for the planner myself.
You can find the planner at our shop. Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
Which template do you use here, I want to download
Thanks for your interest in the planner. You can find the system here: Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
Great video, thank you for sharing! When I type a note, then I write on the note my format gets distorted. Is there a way to "lock" what I write so even if I add more when I type it won't change my format? Thank you
hmm... Not sure what is happening there. Can you send me a screen shot before and after to support@brandenbodendorfer.com?
I got lost when you brought up that planner. Where did you get the planner???
You can get the planner as a download from this planner site: Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
What I really wanna know is how you added those hyperlinks to other pages in Samsung Notes?
Did you use another app and then imported as PDF?
I create the hyperlinks in a pdf editor and then import the final copy.
We would be happy to help you set that up.
love the Note widget on my S22 ultra 📝
What planner are you using in this video because the one I downloaded is not working well with my Samsung notes
Using the Key2Success Planner, you can see the full planner here: Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
Will you please add all of your videos on Samsung Notes to a playlist? You have a lot of videos to sift through.

Thank you for the video this is great. There's one thing I'm not able to figure out. How did you get the Planner with the tabs on the side? I can't find this on my Samsung Note app. Appropriate any intake. Thank you.
He loaded it in as a PDF. Its not from Samsung, its from him. He sells it on his website (in descrption) and then you can upload it to Samsung Notes and edit it there
thank u But How get planer page or setting for samsung Note?
Thanks for the interest, you can learn more about the planner on our website. Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
Great, can you tell me again how you did it with the companion feature with your phone !! That was awesome 👌
That is part of the new S22 and Samsung Tab 8 Ultra, I am sure more devices will support it soon.
@@bodendorfer no I tried it with my note 10 lite, it works perfectly
That’s great news

On my Samsung Ultra tablet (or phone), I'm not seeing the Planner as shown? What am I missing?
Is this perhaps an additional download or template?
Edit - I see now, it's a separate purchase - the templates are really nice! 👍
Where do we purchase it because I'm not seeing it anywhere and I would like to get the planner
@@1yrolder Look in the description of this video, there should be a link, unless he's no longer making it.
You'll to buy a new planner every year from what I could tell.
Hi , just found your channel ,Samsung note is really a powerful tool , i know that Evernote , is a powerful app too , and also cross platform , can you make a video comparing the 2 apps ?
I could for sure do a video comparing the two. Evernote has it place and was one of the first great note-taking apps. In opinion though note-taking is about the ability to be able to handwrite your notes. That is not an option with Evernote, so I stopped using it a few years ago. Thanks for the Sub.
Hey I have a question...
Is it possible to change the picture you see when you select your notes? I dont create very pleasing notes and it would be cool to change it so it wouldnt be so cluttered...
Thank you in advance
How i could take a screenshot from TH-cam and paste into noteshield, whitout the necessity that save the picture inside the tablet? Like a the same process un the PC with paint
I'm using Galaxy Tab S6. May have missed it, but I can't seem to find the planner? Do I have to download it first as a PDF?
Yeah
You can find the planner on our website. It imports as its own notebook into Samsung Notes. Check it out here: Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6

Can you create a link to another page in Samsung notes the way you can in Penly?
I do not believe you can create links in Samsung Notes at this time.
Where did the planner come from? I do not see it on my s22 ultra.
Here is a link to where you can find the planner for samsung notes: Samsung Notes Planner Shop: bit.ly/3M0Q1H6
Can you confirm the model you have demoed? I live in Australia and not sure we have the complete Samsung portfolio available to us. Was considering the Supernote A5X until I saw your video.
On this video we are using a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 Ultra
@@bodendorfer thank you. Your videos are invaluable. 🙏
Love your video. Here is probably a stupid question. I just purchased a s22 ultra and when I open the samsung notes app I can't find the planner anywhere. Is it something I'm supposed to purchase and add to the app?

do you know if there is any good way for syncing the notes ? I always want to view the pdfs on large monitor but also want to annotate on the tablet
If you have a another device you could connect that to a monitor and use Dex mode to view your notes. They will sync across devices.
I been using notes for a while but how did you get the daily planner calendar
