Casanova-missed opportunity to have the song by LeVert of the same name as the movie's theme Bartles & Jaymes-thanks for their support of making my favorite wine cooler back then Hotel-R.I.P Jeff Conaway
#45 Someone uploaded a copy of a Kellogg's Froot Loops ad when Toucan Sam is visited by an inventor with his "fruit bot" and in that video there was a copy quoting Maurice LaMarche (Paul Frees' successor in that role) as saying that was, if not his last, at least one of his last projects. So my guess is that the Froot Loops spot and this Pillsbury ad would definitely be among Frees' last ads at least.
I've been looking for that FTD commercial with Merle Olson and Anthony James for a while. This is a shorter version. I'm currently watching James in the A-Team episode "Trouble Brewing." Character actors rock.
:Seinfeld voice: *What is the deal* with video stores that make you rewind the tapes when you're done? You own the tape, you rented it to me...rewind it yourself!
March 1, 1987 was the day the Renault Medallion came out in the US then 8 days later Chrysler would buy them out. Interesting story about that car if you care to Google it.
Dude, an Exedrin commercial. Haven’t seen one of those in 30 years or so. I got a headache this big and it’s screaming for ‘80s commercials. You ever notice that in peanut butter commercials jelly is a non-entity? As if jelly is a registered trademark. WTF was that Miller commercial?
10:41 - Villains liked to shill for peanut butter named after their nemesis back in the day. I remember commercials where Lex Luthor was a fan of Superman peanut butter, and was trying to discover the secret behind its great taste. th-cam.com/video/yUn2B0fAgGg/w-d-xo.html
there’s something about these commercials that make me feel so warm and safe, I wasn’t even alive back then but still!
Pretty cool to see B.B. King in a Fritos commercial. RIP to the king of blues guitar.
Thank you sir for what you do
John Huston, what a voice.
3:10 -- kinky trap for MacGyver! LOL!
APPLE CINNAMON SQUARES YAAAAAAS 😩 back when they would put cereal samples in the mail lol
Lipton’s Cup-A-Soup looked yummy. I don’t believe they make this specific product anymore, but there appears to be a lot of similar items now.

80sCommercialVault thank you!!! I will look for it. This made my day!
Bartles and Jaymes - Thank You For Your Support of my teenage drinking habits... 🤣🤣🤣
I miss those Big Red gum commercials. Not only did they have a great jingle, but you loved to see the humorous stories being played out.

Yeahhhh a groovy R&B hit record would have fit perfectly in there!
I have always like B.B. King. He seemed like a cool fellow.
Sweet Vid! Just 8 more days before I was born 🤘

I just checked closer and the date stamp at the beginning says 1983. So the Froot Loops ad you mention is probably one of the last ads he did.

13:07 - I guess I can see why videotape-related standup never took off.
