This account is one of the most important things in media.
You know you're watching a commercial about some kind of hygiene product when a woman shows up and randomly says, "I like to feel fresh."
As a 15-year-old born in 2004. I really wish I have been alive through the 80s
The last time something was brought to us by Renault 😹🤣
Of the two TV anchors in the last clip, Jerry Jensen passed away a year later at 49. Valerie Coleman was only 23 here in 1983. She moved on to CNN later and is still doing well in 2020.
air port yes, Jerry Jensen passed away from pancreatic cancer almost a year to the day (March 27th, 1984) after this originally aired. That’s really sad and kind of eerie.
@@hopegrimsley3427 That'd be crazy to think that someone is facing the last year of his life while you're watching him still alive.
V the minieseries came in 1983.best series ever.to my top 2 favorite years ever.
The model in the Calvin Klein ad is Lauren Helm (now Dr. Lauren Helm, psychiatrist).
Joe Lourenco, that’s awesome! Thank you for sharing.
This aired two days before I was born!
Mmm, the thorn birds. Now that I saw the Commercial for it and I happened to own a DVD copy of it. This quarantine is the perfect time to rewatch it again.
Webster!
Looks like KGO was glitching quite a few times here but that double mop was something really cool!
I had a teacher in high school who used to say, "When I speak, EF Hutton listens."
LOL at "US denies plans to invade Grenada" 😄
That’s ok I don’t mind a dupe of a Renault Fuego ad - screw the Delorean I can get 88 mph with the TURBO ZONE!
6:28 - I usually find myself sticking my finger in things I declare to be "awful and disgusting"...
10:21 Is that really necessary? Well, it kinda would if it's the closer and not before the closer.
In the Bank of America ad, the woman at 09:04 looks like Lee Bryant, who played the mom in Airplane (“Jim never vomits at home...”). Which is coincidental since you then have a Yuban ad which has that very same “husband never has a second cup of coffee at home” theme. Also, in the Yuban ad is the brunette woman in the first shot Rita Wilson?
8:57 and 9:19 🎼🎵🎶 Bank on the leader... BofA, Bank of America!🎶🎵
The USA invading Grenada? Noooooo...
