I have been watching you for a minute. Hands down I have gotten more information from you than a lot of of channels. I think your content and information are well explained and don't understand some people’s confusion but I realized, that when I first got into heat press printing I watched a lot of people and got probably too much unneeded information. When I found your channel it spoke to my needs and vision for my brand. I used transfer express and supcolor too but I only used TE for single color designs, but I couldn't figure out how to get the long lasting quality from the transfer. It would crack after 10-20 washes. I watched a lot of your video trying to figure out the problem and even called TE. They are very helpful and a good company but the quality and consistency was on point by supacolor. They even offer single color transfer at a reduced print. My last thing is I want my brand to be worn over and over again by my customers, so I would pay the price because it will matter in the long run. It all comes down to what you can afford or willing to pay and what you looking for quality, affordability, etc. Just know there are pros and cons to both! Thanks Brandoh 💯 Salute
Mannnnnn thanks for watchin but also thanks for really understanding the content i make. you took the info and ran with it and made it fit your needs. This is exactly why i make the videos i make for people just like you and me. i appreciate the continued support homie! 💪🏾 get that money!!!!
been down with big brandoh for years he getting better and better in every video I remember when he would drop a million swear words in 3 mins lol be bless bro and thank you for always dropping that free knowledge for us
Good Stuff Uce! I find myself always going back to SC tried a few DTF companies myself. I always know what I’m getting with SC. Appreciate the difference between SC transfers and DTF. Much Alofas Uce 👊🏽🤙🏽
consistency. i just had a homie do a pretty big job and he went with dtf cuz it was a cheaper route. the dtf company missed the deadline cuz they said they were backed up with work and orders. then the homie had to place another order with a different dtf printer which was slightly more expensive to make the deadline. those transfers came in with printing flaws. no adhsive on one side and a few designs ruined due to smudges. received his original order 2 days after he delivered the job. he spent double the money tryna save money and delivered a job pressed with some sketchy transfers.
I didn’t like how thick the SC transfers were. I got a sample, it looked like plastic. I have not ordered a transfer yet, getting ready to do my first orders- terrified :) thank you for the great advice and info. Now I’m rethinking. What is their turnaround? Do they have a high minimum? Thanks again.
if you hit the supa link in the description you can see their pricing based on your quantity. if you have a reseller permit you can create an account with supa directly to see wholesale pricing. i mainly order gang sheets from supacolor so you can see their gang sheet pricing thru the link
I actually just tried Supacolors new DTF for the first time. It is different stuff. It feels a little lighter? Thinner? Edge not as tight? It is not nearly as opaque. It is just different. It is hottish peel but not dead hot peel. I use regular supacolor all the time. To me it has been the easiest and most consistent. If it has more than 2 colors it is pretty much my go to.
sorry but i dont know anything about them... i make it extremely easy for all of you. i just talk about the transfers that I do use. that way if you see it in my videos, that means i actually use it. if you dont see it in my videos, that means i dont use it.
Great information as always! The popularity of DTF in the last year has brought a lot of "businesses" into this industry with a poor quality product looking for that quick cash grab causing a lot of chaos if you dont know this information right here
Good video comparison on transfers. I have found great DTF transfer companies that are always consistent. Supacolor is good too but have a heavier feel.
Question. I am using supacolor transfers with the same heat press that you are. But sometimes my transfer is sticking to the apparel and not releasing. What would be the reason?
i have a video on this topic. hit the youtube search bar with "how to lay down supacolor transfers" also, it could be your settings or your pressure. you might have to make minor adjustments to your pressure or your heat to achieve the right application setting. its all trial and error.
Thanks Homie.. The info is well appreciated. I am interested in the Supacolor Metallic and was curious if you used it.. and how many metallic finishes.. glitter? Matte? YaknowhatImean😎 Thanks for all the videos
i still dont do this full time. haha i own and run multiple print shops and multiple brands but i still have a day job. I can do this full time but i choose not too. i spent the last 20 years creating a career for myself. my end goal is not too quit my job, my end goal is to be as successful as possible.
Love my supacolor products, but I did just run into some confusion with a transfer. If supacolor is screen print and not digital, then why were my grunge designs digitally printed? I haven’t reached out to the company but I was still able to use the transfers but it wasn’t what I was expecting for my grunge look.
im not 100% sure what your grunge look transfers were supposed to look like but supacolor always makes it easy to reach out to them if you have any issues. every tour i've taken at supacolor (gardena location and hawthorne location) they have guys burning screens, cleaning screens and running the big ass screen print presses...
What's up Brandoh? I've heard you say in the past you use Supacolor for multi-color and transfer express for single color. Is that still the case, and if so is there a particular reason? Costs perhaps?
Supacolor is the way to go!!! Do you still use Transfer Express gang sheets for single color hits? I have used the goof proof with good success, but in your videos you were using the hot split. Which is better at avoiding dye migration?
i havent placed a hot split order in a while i been mainly just throwing my single color design on a supa gang sheet if theres room on the sheet. thats been workin out for me lately. supacolor offers a sub blocker style transfer thats made to stop dye migration. i dont press too much on polyster so i dont really run into the dye migration issue
I do have one question: I’m looking for a full color transfer that delivers the same quality as a single color goof proof transfer from Transfer express, I’ve used supacolors full color before and the design just doesn’t give me that same feel I am looking for like goof proof transfers does, it feels more like a sticker on a shirt than a screen print …any suggestions?
you have to ask yourself what exactly you want. is it texture in the print? is it weight of print? since color print is lighter than a multi color print. not just with transfers but anything. the more color you layer on the heavier the print will be. using a 4 color process print will be lighter in feel than a multi spot color print. if you think multi color prints feel like a sticker on a shirt it might be due to lots of color or the opacity in the print. i have a video showing and comparing supacolor print vs traditional screen print. if you think supa is thick or heavy, the traditional screen print was way heavier. but if you are going based on texture only, supa will feel smooth compared to the off contact of a screen print. but it sounds like you are going based on feel, i have no recommendations because supacolor to me is the lightest, thinnest transfer i know of when it comes to multi color printing. you would have to try a bunch of transfers out and see what you like better. like i said i have a video comparing the same design from supacolor and traditionally screen printed and supa came out lighter and thinner on the scale and by feel. its on my channel
hi, thanks for watching. i dont use the templates. i create my gang sheets in photoshop or illustrator. if the sheet size i wanna order is 11.7x16.5 thats what i set my page size too in photoshop and drop my designs on there, save it and upload direct to supacolor. i have videos showing that process on my channel
I have an idea for a certain type of product that will be customizable and very text heavy. It seems the only option for this would be DTG. Or I would have have to get the top design on a transfer and use vinyl on the custom text. I don't know how that would look together.
if its single color you can do the whole thing in vinyl. thats what most customize shops do. dtg is a good option but will cut into your profit margins. as far as mixing print methods. ive never done it.
Great information brother learned a lot but off the subject what brand should I buy that has the wider neckline? I’m tired of these shirts that have real thin neckline they look too cheap. Who would you suggest I should go to thanks again, Brando Ruben.
im not familiar with ultra pro. i have a video showing ultra max which is their DTF print. lots of companies have the same concept but it ultimately comes down to which transfer you can successfully lay down and what you wanna offer your customers. thats why i use supacolor
Bradoh I'm Loving Shaka Tees. Anyway you could list XXXL wholesale price on their 7.5s? I can't view the prices on wholesale without the resellers license. I'm in NYC and resellers license is a pain in the balls. Just wanna see the $ difference to see if it's worth it. Ty
Oh wow I been using supacolor for a few years now and I honestly didn’t know they were screen printed transfers cuz I assumed they were using a printer because of the amount of different colors I’ve had for some designs. So that’s good to know they use actual screen printing methods
@@Orangexcounty oh I see yeah idk now I’m confused since bigbrandoh is saying they’re screen printed transfers. I just assumed it’s DTF printers cuz one of my transfers is 10 colors, but it’s nice to know they’re screen printed

i dont know about that. i just showed in the video why i dont mess with dtf. horrible consistency and quality issues. never once experienced any of those issues with Supacolor. but if dtf works for you, thats all that matters. also would love to see a video about the dtf company you choose to use so that way you can help the next person lookin for solid transfers. would be cool to see the company you use, how you press'em and how you use'em. knowledge sharing is key

Supacolor has both WE_A3 and WE_SUPAGANG at two different prices, but the same size. Do you know the difference?
one is a gang sheet to put multiple designs on and one is a single image design. both same size sheets with different intended uses.
