I have a couple of reasons to doubt this is Elysium. Elysium is like a sci-fi adaptation of Occupy Wall Street, it's not about genetic experiments. Elysium is set in the year 2159, this looks a little to "this era". I'll put my money on a District 9 sequel(or prequel), but even that's a stretch.

I don't get it, are these TH-cam comment writers saying "fake" as in it's a fake teaser, or "fake" as in they don't know what a teaser is and they think this video is about some dead creature thing and they think they're so smart by saying that's fake? Because I'm pretty sure it's a real teaser...

Neill Blomkamp is practically a genius. I remember James Camerons Aliens in 1986, I felt the same on District 9- He just started a new era. Would also be great if they pass on Halo to Neill, but they took it away from him.
The entire time I'm looking at this, I'm trying to figure out why it looks familiar. Then it hit me. The tail curved behind it makes it look like an iguana. That's what this is folks. CLEARLY, it's an iguana.
@Skymning Perhaps it is a specimen from that other planet, held by and escaped from some U.S. Government facility. Given the way D9 was marketed its safe to assume that in at least some way Blomkamp will build up a connection between our known reality and the reality of the film.
Im sure if anyone finds this, No one would touch it with at least a gloves on. That makes me think it is problably fake or the guys are pretty ignorants
