Well Mary does use a Typhon, they switched Mary to compresses air a while ago and it hasn't sounded the same since, probably because steam still expands even after it leaves the horn/whistle, unlike air.
SS Queen Mary I has three horns, two placed at the forward funnel and one at the second funnel. The horn of the second funnel is restored and placed at the funnel of the Queen Mary II. This horns are tyfons 525. The horn of the ss Nieuw Amsterdam is a tyfon 425.
