Solid video! A ton of good points made about how Days is, I experienced it on the OG DS so seeing how the cutscene movie leaves some stuff out is a pain. It needs a remaster so bad from Square so more people can appreciate the story
I never actually got to understand this story until I made a 100% guide for this game on a friend's channel. And I have a new appreciation for the game and story. To the point that when I got to the end of the game, I broke down from the emotions this game gave me. It's a beautiful story with heart wrenching moments.
Tbh days is my second favorite game of all off KH, after KH2. It not only has a great story on its own, it's nice to have org 13 chars playable and the end makes me cry everytime... The multiplayer was also pretty good but even back in the day kinda dead. I think the game in general was kinda ahead of it's time and it makes me sad that we don't have a re:days till today, nor got a Final mix of it(iirc). The title is kinda confusing too, especially if you don't know the games story. I always just called it KH days. The 358: the year has 365 days, -7 from KH2 prologe = 358. That's how long you follow the story. And /2 is there because you follow it in the perspective of 2 different character, Roxas and Xion. The loss a Xion also reminds me of how i almost lost my best friend... My 2 favorites quotes of this game are 1. Roxas to Xion, while she was dematerialising: "Xion... Who else will i have ice cream with?" 2. Riku to Roxas after their fight: "Why?! Why do you have the keyblade?"
And days also had the most fun missions and you could play them as anyone once you unlocked them, all the organization members and even Riku. Maybe Donald and goofy too but I don't remember.
