Why are you dinging these cars for being small?! They are subcompact! They are supposed to be small, and many people are looking for exactly that. Something easy to maneuver and park in a city, and slightly taller than a standard car. Dinging them for being small is like complaining a soft top convertible for not having a roof.
I have a Yukon Denali XL and a Challenger, not to mention a truck and this size is exactly what I'm looking for. Not thrilled about driving a small car so this is a perfect size (A cross over)
@@amada5891 I went from a full sized GMC 2500 van with a 5 liter down to a 2017 Mazda Cx-3 touring because I was tired of 12-17 mpg and knew gas prices were going to keep rising. I'm glad I did. I own the 2020 Nissan Rogue Sport S. I don't hear the CVT noise you're talking about. I was pleasantly surprised with the interior appearance and features as well as the exterior looks of the vehicle. Can fit 2 carseats in backseat with decent legroom for a compact SUV. One carseat is for my 12 year old disabled Grandson. His wheelchair folds and fits in the back cargo area very well also. I am quite pleased so far.

I own a 2016 Fiat 500x pretty happy so far. Change the oil every year and just drive 8k miles in a year. I have a manual transmission one of 3 at the dealership and I love it. It's acutally super handy and sippy for an SUV and I got enough space for bags and stuff like that :)
Subjective, weak, combination for me. Very selective. Compact SUV they don't pretend to be SUVs. They are compact cars with greater ground clearance and a different driving position. That's all :)
My 83-year old mom bought a loaded 2020 Mazda CX-3, and it’s been perfect! Kinda funny Mazda made the engine loud and zoomy on purpose. She loves revving it up. For the price and reliability, it shouldn’t be on this crappy list!

Wait, the Nissan makes it as top 10 or number 1? What have I stumbled in to. Buick Encore and Trax owner satisfaction is very high for this class. The ecosport does have AWD but is literally bad at everything it does. The Mazda? On this list? It’s a beautiful piece of machinery and does not deserve to be here. The CHR is slow but it’s for looks not speed. HRV is so practical. This guy is bonkers.
I own a Ford Ecosport the milage is 28-29, and love the side opening rear door, great head room and great seat. When you exit it, you are nearly on your feet as you get out. Handles great, quite ride, zero to 60 in 10 sec. Very content with this little car.
@@LurkingFear87, From my experience the Dodge Dart is quicker and more fun to drive. The HR-V has a better interior cargo/utility design and holds its value much better. My biggest (only) disappointment in the HR-V is its lack of acceleration.
I bought a 2017 Buick Encore about a month ago and it’s a great little CUV. Yeah it’s little but I didn’t need a bunch of space. Just needed enough for me, my boyfriend and our 2 goldendoodles whenever we travel. It’s extremely quiet inside
Just bought the 2021 CHR, We love it! The fuel mileage is great, the stereo very nice, the reception for radio is better than all the cars we tried, it’s very comfortable. The back seats fold perfectly flat, gets good cargo space. The steering wheel is nice, love the heated seats, steering wheel and heated mirrors. It’s also got the puddle lights with Toyota CHR and the mirrors fold flat when the door is locked.
I'll never understand why these so-called experts are respected with their opinions. When reviewing a car such as a compact or subcompact vehicle you should never expect it to ride like a luxury car or have acceleration like a Bugatti. They are purpose-designed vehicles to transport people and get good gas mileage. There's too much snobbery on the TH-cam reviews when it comes to saying how an inexpensive econobox should match up against a premium Lexus. The best way to know about any given car is to talk to someone who has owned it for a while ask them about their personal experience.
That’s funny, I own a Ecosport and I love it! We have had it for two years and bought it brand new. The spare tire is not an issue because it comes with emergency kit. Besides, people call roadside assistance now more then changing spare tires. The backseat has more room then our original Honda CR-V. I love the sunroof and the All wheel drive! Great vehicle, I’d have to disagree with you.
You are wrong. Some are the worst but not all of these. The Honda HR-V and the Toyota CH-R are the best in the segment. And do better research because CH-R doesn’t stand for Coupe High-Rider like you said. It stands for Compact High-Rider. My aunt uses a Ford EcoSport every day and she has never had any complaints about the vehicle. I don’t get why you are so negative about these vehicles. Like is there something personal that you don’t like about them or...? I do agree that Nissans, Chevy/Buick, and Jeeps/Fiat are amongst the worst because of their unreliability. Nissans for their garbage cvt transmissions. Chevy/Buick’s for their horrible oil-burning turbocharged engines. And Fiat/Jeeps with both engine and transmission failures. Jeep Renegades are literally reskinned Fiat 500s. Toyotas, Hondas, and Mazdas are literally the most reliable car brands out there and the fact that you put them on this list just goes to show how this video is just a load of BS!
FWIW I had a 2015 Buick Encore. Got 60,000 trouble free miles. It was slow and required mid grade gas to keep it running smoothly. Traded it for a 2019 Buick Encore. It's more peppy. Handles and rides great. Runs on regular fuel. Get around 30mpg in mixed driving. Not a fan of stop/start technology, but you get used to it.
I just don't understand with all of today's modern technology, car makers don't make these crossovers with better gas mileage. These are ridiculously low.
I actually love my new 2020 Ecosport. Fun to drive, extremely comfortable and quiet ride. Lots of features for the $$. Sync 3 rocks! Can even remote start with the Fordpass app from my phone even though my car didn't come with remote start (go figure) as well as a lot of other cool features with Fordpass app. If I wanted a big car, I would buy one. Sounds like you just don't like the subcompact category but lots of people do.
Bought a '20 ecosport SE and love it. The reviewer says awd is not an option yet with the 2.0 awd is standard. The other highlights are the 2.0 is a non-turbo engine with a good reputation. Less likely to need expensive repairs on that engine later in its life. The standard transmission instead of a cvt was a big deal because this means it can tow. It has a 2000 lb tow capacity where most of the others have none at all. I have towed two full size atv's on a trailer (maxing the 2k tow capacity) and it will handle it just fine if you manual shift it when needed for hills. I get 28mpg pretty regularly and I am happy with that. The seats are comfortable. My only gripes are no spare tire, the center cupholder location sucks (should have put it in front of the shifter), and I don't like the way the wipers go from the center of the windshield out overlapping in my view.
i have a 2018 ecosport and i like it alot , lots of features also for the $$$$ (winter package) LOVE IT + 4wd(awd) ,yeah it's small and the ride is typical small car ride , and not the most powerful engine but it gets me from point A to B just fine and it's great in the snow no problems whatsoever
Nobody on here sticking up for the trax? I have a 19 and love it. It's all in what you're looing for. Mine has a roof rack and I put a towing package on there. I live in the city but I go outside on the weekends. I love the look and it hasn't let me down either!
They are very good, I just wish they offered their other engines (seen in Europe) too, not just the 1.4 turbo. I wouldn't be giving mine up if not for the engine, I am currently babying it by not driving too hard and using 91 octane gas. They need oil changes done on time and coolant levels to hold for the turbo to work efficiently.
Scrotty is just a biased has been. Shluuuurrrs his way through his ramblings with poor pronunciation of brands etc, don't know why the hell anyone would take him seriously.
I bought a 2019 Ford Titanium Ecosport back in July. Absolutely LOVE the vehicle. Handles wonderfully in all conditions and on all road types. And it is 4WD! You were only sharing about the bottom line of the Ecosport. Yes, I bought mine used ~ it only had 10,400 miles on it when I purchased the vehicle and I paid under $18,000 for the car. I will admit it doesn’t have much leg room in the back-seat but for my purpose of a vehicle it’s perfect! Next time you do reviews, please consider sharing about each “tier” of each model - they do vary greatly and you are NOT giving proper or enough information to the consumer.

While the video is clumsy and lacks depth it’s nice to see someone who isn’t just promoting vehicles and basically in PR or sales. I’d agree many of these cars are undesirable, but beauty is also in the eye of the beholder. What everyone wants is a reliable vehicle that won’t be in the shop regularly and cost lots in repair bills. Many of these vehicles definitely would fall on that list. Nissan’s CX-30 is one lower priced crossover that delivers. Step ups to the CX-5 or Subaru Forester are worth the money. Worth mention many newer cars especially crossovers have poor visibility in rear blindspots with the Forester being one exception.
Had a rougue sport for 2 years Until somebody hit it. We did not have any complaints about it. It was not the fastest thing on the road but it was a good vehicle.
I had accident with rogue sport last week, but surprised that I was not getting as hurts as I thought it would be. It’s good suv for me, especially for the small space in the back. It’s a small deal tho
Had a rental Rouge Sport for a week trip to Vegas. The CVT was rubber band-like, easily confused, and gave off a burning smell in stop n go traffic. Oh, and the rear hatch rattled the entire time. I returned it and complained. The rental agency only charged me half of the bill because they said they've had a lot of complaints about the Rouge Sport rear hatch rattling or simply popping open because the hatch latch breaks easily. No wonder Nissan is on the edge of bankruptcy.
I'm going to disagree with you somewhat on the HRV. We lived with one last year and long story short, it is not with us anymore. We ended up replacing it with a CX-5 GT just before Covid hit. There are actually things I miss about the HRV. As a second car it was great in the winter, as much room inside as the CX-5, actually more comfortable up front for me as the seats in the CX-5 are hard and narrow. Space wise, Honda finds space in a small package like magic whereas the CX-5 is quite a bit larger on the outside, but no different on the inside and without the magic seats, some things actually fit better in the HR-V. I HATED the CVT and will never buy another CVT based car... NEVER. HR-V makes a great second car, grocery getter type thing and great in the winter
@@garyeisenzimmer1542 we never had that issue at all. The HRV uses the old Civic engine and is rock solid. The CVT is the issue. I trust the engine in the HRV more than their new 1.5T's.
Not sure how you can make the small capacity of the car a sticking point when this is the subcompact SUV class they are supposed to be judged on the cargo size as it relates to being COMPACT...

I drove a 2020 Hyundai Kona back in March when I was in Texas. Love that car and now that I am in the market, she is definitely on my very short list. That and the Honda HR-V.
I’ve watched dozens of other reviews on this market segment and driven several of these SUVs as well. The Mazda CX-3 is by far at the top of the class, followed by the Nissan Rogue Sport. The Ford Ecosport is almost the worst of the bunch, but it takes a backseat to the Jeep Renegade. And the Honda HRV is a major disappointment as well. It’s cramped, needs more power, and lacks space in the rear seat and cargo area.
@sambethune in your opinion. My wife and I test drove both, plus several others. The CX-3 is nice looking, but it's practicality is nearly zero (especially compared to the HR-V). I guess it depends on what you value the most/are looking for.
Have 3 Outlandrr sports 2 with the 2.4L engine. Yes a bit small on space. But no issues whatsoever. 4WD in snow. Not a “showy” car but best value for the dollar. I find Mitsubishi dealers really willing to work with you. They are great for college students.
While not sub-compact, I had a 2017 Mits Outlander GT and wish I wouldn't have traded it. Good mileage, would tow 3500 pounds, rode smooth, ample room and the best AWD system I've driven. Not to mention a 5 year BTB and 10 year drive train. Didn't hold value and traded it - should have considered it's good traits instead of worrying about retained value.
I live in Mexico and bought the 2017 Nissan Kicks manual transmission compact SUV brand new. In 4 years of ownership only had to replace the battery. Like central Texas, heat "eats" up batteries. I got a free 5-year extended warranty with the condition I bring my car in every 6 months for service. Get this, paid $12,417 USD tax, title, license out the door! The manual transmission has been fine. Fits 4 comfortably, 5 if smaller. Good trunk space. Absolutely no problems with the vehicle other than replacing the battery after 3 years which I always had to do in Texas (every 3 years). The roads are narrow in most "Centro" areas of Mexican towns so this was a perfect little vehicle for my "narrow" street needs. The trunk lid lifts straight up which helps in narrow, tight spots. Nissan also is one of the biggest car brands in Mexico so I liked that it would be easily serviced anywhere. It was also built in Mexico.
It's a pretty decent car if you take care of the engine. I get pretty awesome gas mileage with conservative driving, considering it does ride a bit like an SUV and is higher off the ground.
No, it'll go up way more than just a few hundreds. It's not just the engine, all the components around it will also needs to be change along with it. Everything adds up. It'll be more likely will cost an extra $1000 or could be more.
You didn't include crash test ratings. Some only have poor fuel economy because of the added weight of the safety features. And the Outlander Sport is the safest one in this list.
You said it. He believes the Maxda CX3 is not a good car, it actually is. And it has a very nice interior and exterior, mechanical reliability is pretty good.
The vehicle known as Rogue Sport in the U.S. is the Quashqai in Europe. It sells EXTREMELY well in Europe because....BIG SURPRISE, Europe doesn't get the CVT. Depending on trim level, they have a choice between a manual or a " regular " automatic transmission.
Why? It’s ugly, not fun to drive, stiff, uninspiring and has a CVT... no thanks lol. Only thing that it has going for it is the storage space is good for the class and fuel economy is good. There are better options out there though.
@@MrMoose-mf1oy it is not ugly at all. It is not stiff at all. It has a cvt, best cvt in the business. Good storage space? What do you mean? It is great WHOLE INTERIOR SPACE ARRANGEMENT! No, I don’t agree with your list. I’ve just upgraded my 2015 Mitsubishi ASX to a 2020 model, and it’s a great car. 10 year guarantee, 10 year capped price servicing. I’ve had 5 Mitsubishi’s since the 1990’s and not had ONE single problem with any of them. Not everyone can afford a $40K car, so you do get what you pay for. I’m very happy with mine.
i know i own a ford so this will sound very biased but here me out. here is what i got from your dislikes for the ford ecosport: it's slow, cramped, and gets bad mpg. every suv in this segment is slow and cramped, and while the mpg is not excusable (my escape gets the same mpg), there is no reason to not like it besides the fact that it's ugly, to me at least. it has one of the cheapest base prices, it can tow what's considered "ultra-lightweight" campers, which most if not all in this segment can't, and the 2.0 N/A engine that comes with the awd models is an old mazda engine, meaning it's a 300,000+ mile engine if taken care of. i would choose the kona/seltos and the mazda CX-3/CX-30 over it but that't about it, the rest are either unreliable, aren't rated to tow, or just not my taste. the HRV is a nice option, so is the buick but it lacks reliability.
Mazda isn’t as reliable as a Toyota and I would go with the CH-R because it’s got standard advanced safety tech, standard dual zone climate control, looks better, has great safety rating, it has 10 airbags, and it will last a long time and let’s not forget the comfy pressure point free seats and the exterior and interior colors you can get.
Connor Durham the c-hr doesn't come with awd and i'm an essential worker who needs to get to work rain, snow, sleet or hail. i live in the blue ridge mountains so i'm always going up hills so i need the extra traction
The Toyota is by far the best choice here and most reliable. It gets 37 mpg and looks great. No sacrifices and priced the best. Shouldnt be on this list at all.
Sure, its all about the money. Its a cheap transmission to make, but doesnt last long & expensive to fix. Throw away actually. Just like home appliances.
I have a '17 Jeep Renegade with 120k miles and I have NEVER done anything to it but change the oil! But u r spot on about the crappy mpg though. But I'm 63, I don't go much....so what sold me was the heated seats n steering wheel, turns on a dime, easy interface with dashboard tech, and it's just so dang cute!
I also have a 2017 CX-3 Touring FWD and think it's great. Great mpg, comfortable interior, and quicker than most of the cuv's available. As far as engine whiny? I don't hear it whining. It's a 2 liter with 146 hp in a 2800 lb car, it's not supposed to sound like a 6 liter Hemi, lol. What sound did you expect from a 29/34 mpg car?
I bought a brand Jeep Renegade, 4x4, in Dec 2018, and I still don't regret it. I agree though, that interior cargo space is small, found this out when I couldn't fit a 70-inch tv which was new in box, I had to call Mom and her Rav4. However for mojority of my cargo needs the space is good enough. Ai like the boxy styling of the Renegade as I do like the interior layout as well. Also is the backs seat is rommier that it appears. Feedback from backseat passengers of all heights have been pleasantly surprised. I'm glad at least my Renegade was towards the bottom of this list. Don't shy away from this car.
As a 30 year Toyota driver, I actually considered buying one. Just one teeny tiny problem. I can't find one available in a 150 mile radius from where I live. 🤷♀️

Why would he compares the cargo size of subcompact SUVs? He's like comparing the fuel efficiency of all the pickup trucks instead of the power and torque... He missed the selling point completely. Useless reviews.
I own a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and I love the thing. I realize it isn't on your list but by definition these small Crossover SUVs are small but Owner's know that and buy them because they are looking for exactly that, a small Crossover. In addition, the Outlander Sport comes with a 5 year 60,000 miles bumper to bumper Warranty and a 100,000 miles Warranty on the Drive Train for the original owner. One carseat is for my 12 year old disabled Grandson. His wheelchair folds and fits in the back cargo area very well also. I am quite pleased so far.
Probably but I will say it absolutely happens in the Pathfinder, the damn thing is loud.

It’s roomy enough without being huge. Good gas mileage.
The CVT transmission will break before it hit 100k miles. sell it.

Meka Meks I had an Altima 2008 bought it when it had 80k.. trans broke at 120k..some Nissans break 60k,70,80.. if I was u I would trade in for rav4...
isamisam19 I have 1998 Toyota RAV4 as well. Not getting rid of that thing ever! I had a brand new Jeep Cherokee before the rogue and that had so many issues. So I wanted to trying something completely different. I have a warranty. So let’s see what happens !
Yeah your right my C-HR is way smaller then my Corolla 2018 XLE which is easier for me to drive.
My 83-year old mom bought a loaded 2020 Mazda CX-3, and it’s been perfect! Kinda funny Mazda made the engine loud and zoomy on purpose. She loves revving it up. For the price and reliability, it shouldn’t be on this crappy list!
For sure.
The CX-3 is the best in its class. In whst universe does somebody rate it lower than the Nissan or the Honda?
Mazda is some of the best In the class for the cx3, 30, and 5.
You will see the same cars if you do the best 10 sub compact suv.
Yeah, that was almost all of the subcompact SUV class, lol!
So where do we go from here? Just buy whatever?
HA!

My Kona doesn’t show up on the list.
Just 28-29miles. You don't get out much!😉.
After carefully considering all the information in this video, I am now the owner of a 2021 Honda HR-V EX AWD.
Lol enjoy! 🙌
Very good choice! I have 2019 HRV and I love it.
Congrats! We love ours!
I'm debating on upgrading to an hrv I currently got a dodge dart
@@LurkingFear87, From my experience the Dodge Dart is quicker and more fun to drive. The HR-V has a better interior cargo/utility design and holds its value much better. My biggest (only) disappointment in the HR-V is its lack of acceleration.
I don’t know others. I just know Mazda CX-3 is one of the best I ever drive.
You have to try harder to convince me these are bad suvs. Critique like this hurts the credibility of automotive writers.
So the brakes locking up on their own isn't enough?
our ford ecosport 2018 model was good, i"ve tried on the 140kph and he does ..he is 2yrs and 6mos.old..no problem at all..

I love my 2019 ecosport!
I don’t like it body
I'm not a GM guy, but my daughter really likes her 2019 Buick Encore. It drives nice, is quiet, gets good mpg.
My sister has the top model. She couldn't be happier. What's wrong with not driving an Acura, an Audi or a BM?
Well, I'm not an expert but I have an hrv and I think is very good. If you want to race, get a racing car.
I just purchased a 2016 HRV ex and I love it.
I don't get it either. He starts out by saying it's better than all competitors in its class, complains a bit about a choppy ride, and that's it.
I'm betting your HRV will catch up to the Chrysler when it breaks down.
Agreed. Hondas are very reliable and retain their value. If you want bigger get a CRV.
More like Top Worst Interiors/MPG, what about engineering and mechanical reliability real reasons to buy vehicle...
You're right. But Mazda has great interiors, exteriors and engineering reliability.
Mazda is in the top 3 reliable car brands
Yeah this video is devoid of substance.
I believe you can stop the start/stop
@DontWorryAboutIt This model year you can't. But, later models you can. However, I am a believer that it does save gas overall.
@@kennypughcountrymusic5767 ah okay. Yeah the start/stop does save on gas of what I hear

I like my 2019 Echosport also. I just accepted the fact that the MPG wasn't the best.
I love mine too. I have a 2020 eco sport ❤️
i sell this ecosports, you absolutely right
Bought a '20 ecosport SE and love it.
I played this back at 1.25x speed and it pretty much sounded normal. nice list.
Lmao thanks for the heads up
Nobody on here sticking up for the trax? I have a 19 and love it. It's all in what you're looing for. Mine has a roof rack and I put a towing package on there. I live in the city but I go outside on the weekends. I love the look and it hasn't let me down either!
They are very good, I just wish they offered their other engines (seen in Europe) too, not just the 1.4 turbo. I wouldn't be giving mine up if not for the engine, I am currently babying it by not driving too hard and using 91 octane gas. They need oil changes done on time and coolant levels to hold for the turbo to work efficiently.
The Honda HR-V sounds pretty decent to me...
Great vehicle - we love ours!

Yes, I bought mine used ~ it only had 10,400 miles on it when I purchased the vehicle and I paid under $18,000 for the car.
I will admit it doesn’t have much leg room in the back-seat but for my purpose of a vehicle it’s perfect!

I need to go look for his 10 best subcompact crossovers of 2020. This list does not leave many left over to make a top 10 Best.

I think I missed what was bad about the HRV? Is it just that with the different trim you get a little less cargo room?
Dont know if someone is reading this, but if you are: You are amazing and beautiful! I believe in you! ❤️

The 1.5 motor uses a half a quart of oil every 2000 miles it's junk
@@garyeisenzimmer1542 we never had that issue at all. The HRV uses the old Civic engine and is rock solid. The CVT is the issue. I trust the engine in the HRV more than their new 1.5T's.
Not sure how you can make the small capacity of the car a sticking point when this is the subcompact SUV class they are supposed to be judged on the cargo size as it relates to being COMPACT...
or for anything, for that matter. thats why there are lux brands, for the bells and whistles...
Correction. The Mazda CX3 is a good deal smaller not larger than a CX30.

Wait, you call the HR-V cramped, but call the CX-3 best in class by far? How about no, Scott?
@@ChrisBrown-pz2gu yes I do, because it is. And stop calling me Scott.

@sambethune in your opinion. My wife and I test drove both, plus several others. The CX-3 is nice looking, but it's practicality is nearly zero (especially compared to the HR-V). I guess it depends on what you value the most/are looking for.

I have HRV 1.5 with 184 hp, manual gearbox and its one brilliant car.

@@MugatuJag Europe.. The engine in North America is a 1.8 lite civic engine since 2006
The EcoSport does have an AWD option? Where are you getting your information from?
Just list the entire subcompact suv segment lol

I just got a Chevy Trax 2016 in 2021,and I'm just seeing this?on your list it rates number three.
It's a pretty decent car if you take care of the engine. I get pretty awesome gas mileage with conservative driving, considering it does ride a bit like an SUV and is higher off the ground.
I love the HRV but it really needs more power, I will like to see it with the CRV power
Both the HRV and CRV should have the 2.0t and 10 speed auto.

@@Guncannon probably it will go up, i believe could be around 400 to 700 (lets say 500) dollars more, which i guess is still acceptable

These issues _mostly_ sound like the limitations of the class itself and the price. A tiny cheap car is going to be somewhat sucky!
Reliability is all I care about, really. Warranty helps for sure.
i know i own a ford so this will sound very biased but here me out.
here is what i got from your dislikes for the ford ecosport: it's slow, cramped, and gets bad mpg. every suv in this segment is slow and cramped, and while the mpg is not excusable (my escape gets the same mpg), there is no reason to not like it besides the fact that it's ugly, to me at least. it has one of the cheapest base prices, it can tow what's considered "ultra-lightweight" campers, which most if not all in this segment can't, and the 2.0 N/A engine that comes with the awd models is an old mazda engine, meaning it's a 300,000+ mile engine if taken care of. i would choose the kona/seltos and the mazda CX-3/CX-30 over it but that't about it, the rest are either unreliable, aren't rated to tow, or just not my taste. the HRV is a nice option, so is the buick but it lacks reliability.
I have the 18 Ecosport SES! Amazing SUV class leading ground clearance, and towing!! Quick and fun to drive
The Toyota is by far the best choice here and most reliable. It gets 37 mpg and looks great. No sacrifices and priced the best. Shouldnt be on this list at all.
So if there were in total 17 models, the Rogue, the Encore and the Renegade are also in the "10 Best" list.

It's going to be hard finding a vehicle without a stupid CVT soon.
Sure, its all about the money. Its a cheap transmission to make, but doesnt last long & expensive to fix. Throw away actually. Just like home appliances.
That's why I have the 18 Ford EcoSport SES!! Amazing ride, GO ANYWHERE AWD with Torque vectoring. Quick, and fun to drive
You can get a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord for the same price of any of these.
I'm pretty sure people purchasing SUV don't care about Camry or Accord. They're just different car types.
And?
I have a '17 Jeep Renegade with 120k miles and I have NEVER done anything to it but change the oil! But u r spot on about the crappy mpg though. But I'm 63, I don't go much....so what sold me was the heated seats n steering wheel, turns on a dime, easy interface with dashboard tech, and it's just so dang cute!
No Hyundai’s on this list? Good to know.
CHR,Qashqai et HRV are ones of the best small SUV's.
Your other video on the Mazda CX3 was not really negative, so I’m confused why it’s on this list. I have a 2017 one and love it.
I drove one as a Rent-A-Car not surprised at all it sounds whiny when accelerating and being on the highway. A transmission is lanky and loud
Source is Car and Driver.
I just bought a new C-HR nightshade edition and i love it!!
As a 30 year Toyota driver, I actually considered buying one. Just one teeny tiny problem. I can't find one available in a 150 mile radius from where I live. 🤷♀️
@@davester1970 it's the chip shortage. I keep finding 2018 used but I need the 2019 version since it has Apple Carplay but I really wanted a 2021 or 2020 but they are all low in stock right now.
@@davester1970 good luck. My sister was interested also and couldn't find one either
I have a 2020 kicks and love it. Sure it’s not quick but fits myself, the gfs 2 daughters and in the trunk two 15” subwoofers, 3 amplifiers and 8 additional speakers. Added the roof racks and cage to give me the space I used up in the trunk.
I’ve been looking at a 2021 kicks and was starting to get worried with some comments I see
Love that dude that blows a stop sign in the Buick. Great driving.
Why would he compares the cargo size of subcompact SUVs? He's like comparing the fuel efficiency of all the pickup trucks instead of the power and torque... He missed the selling point completely. Useless reviews.
Honda HR-V is great, at least the Canadian version :)
Its world's 10th most selling vehicle ❤❤
Canadian version? That car is made in Mexico
Love my hrv
I have a 2018 Buick Encore preferred 2 sport utility and it awesome it's all about what you prefer and clearly he doesn't care for small SUV's
this list feels like its made by a 7 year old
It was, nice job, you get a sticker today LOL
@@everymandriver well your reply underlines my statement.
*Triggered* 😅 Which one do you drive mate?
I own a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and I love the thing. I realize it isn't on your list but by definition these small Crossover SUVs are small but Owner's know that and buy them because they are looking for exactly that, a small Crossover. I get 30MPG and I am very comfortable in the vehicle. I have seen the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport bashed on other reviews but it drives extremely well on the Highway an d just cruises at 80MPH. In addition, the Outlander Sport comes with a 5 year 60,000 miles bumper to bumper Warranty and a 100,000 miles Warranty on the Drive Train for the original owner. I like and know what I buy and do not need someone who is pumping certain makes and models for his own reasons telling me what i should buy.
