I am also a kayak fisherman. I store my plastics in those Plano bags you guys don't like. I have a KVD one like you showed and a smaller Tackle Warehouse one. I actually like them but I agree they should have a hard bottom. As far as front handles the smaller Plano worm bags have a front handle but they are not as wide. For the longer one you could attach a key ring or carabiner clip to the tab.
That's why I use a cheap Walmart small cooler bag. 👍 also because when you're fishing and leave a clear bag in the sun to long you'll melt your plastics. Cooler bags fit a bunch of stuff and keeps them from melting if left in the sun. 🤷♂️
Great video, lots of great options. I use to bring the kitchen sink when I went fishing and found most of the time, I only used a handful of baits, hard or plastics. For a day on the water I found I like to be able to visually see what's in the box. I use ONE Plano Liqua Bait Locker 4641 or a 3741 stowaway box. I can fit an assortment of plastics in there along with some lures and a small hook & weight box. I found keeping it simple equals a much better day on the water.
I had to come back and rewatch this one. I was starting my tackle organization and, boy, do I have a lot of plastic... Loading a bunch in the truck and only grabbing a couple bags is decent if I'm only on the water for an hour or so, but next year I'm planning on doing a couple full day tournaments and I'll need to be able to carry more.
As a bank fisherman I usually carry a few MB bags in my backpack, at home I have all my plastics sorted in MB bags (love the monthly freebie!) and stored in a large milk crate. Great video guys!
I’ve used a full size and half size sidio for over 2 years traveling for oil field work. I can’t believe I never thought of using one for plastics. The sidio crates have held up great sliding around in the bed of the truck under the camper shell.
I aggressively collect more plastics, lures, hooks and weights than I know what to do with.. and really really needed this video to help me plan my day trips. Thanks for this awesome video!
Get a small cooler bag or a size that fits your needs. 👍 keeps everything dry and also keeps plastics from melting if in the sun like in a clear box or bags. 🤷♂️
I use those Flambeau tubs for "deep storage" at home because I love those handles when I stack 'em, I agree the hinges aren't tough enough for taking out in the kayak. This new crate you've discovered looks REALLY nice for taking out in the kayak for the day!
The 6th sense bag, that little pocket on the side is perfect to put the pack of plastics you're using at that time so it's easier to get to when you need a new one.
I've switched over to the Plano speed bags, some drawbacks, but very happy with them so far. And I agree, the clear bag drawback is the melting of plastics.
Great video..... Been using the 6th Sense large bait bags for 4 years now.... Really like em. There are handles on both sides and I put a 3m label on both ends that's waterproof. Def might have to look into the Sidio crates for kayak trailer storage. New sub here !!!!
I recently moved to the Plano Rollup and really like the solution. Sits behind my seat on the yak. Has 6 pockets, each pocket holds different category of plastics...Worms, ned, craws, creature ect. works good for plastics that come in a plastic bag not for hard case plastics
Awesome video. i used to have KVD speedbags and now I am down to all my plastics in Plano Edge Deep 3700s. Only thing in speed bags are ZMANN and Extra large 🪱
Thanks for a rundown of the latest solutuons. I am using mostly MonsterBass bags now. It can be hard to find what you are looking for at times. I have a BassMaster tote that I use too but it has the same issues. The Sidio looks good but I don't think it will fit under my Hobie Outback seat. Might need to get a Pro Angeler.😃
Grabbed some of the 6th sense bags from a review from y’all way back. And then it began. I have developed a problem collecting the mafia squad biiiig bags. Aka Googan money bags as well. Diawa has one that’s pretty ok. Hubby blames y’all for the 30+ bags I have now lol. Jus sayin. Not going into the box issue lol.
This video came at a perfect time. Soft bait storage and live scope install are the only things left to do on my 360. Does the Sidio fit under the seat with the seat in the low position, without the kickstand? Im 6'2 and I keep the seat low position in windy conditions. A update kayak rig video with the new additions would be helpful. Thanks for sharing this.
I just organized my plastics and have a bunch of MB bags. I'm not a big fan of the solution at the moment, but I'll deal with it for a while. Still streamlining my kayak setup.
I am a bank fisherman so I grab what I need and throw it in a ziplock. But to store in my closet I get the large ziplocks and then put them in a Sterilite tub and a printer box.
I am an aggressively average junk fishing psychopath and proud of it! I used to take way WAAAY to many soft plastics in my Yak. I now pack ziplock bags with what l "think" l will need for a day on the water......and still take too much🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's exactly what I do! I also tend to use ziplocks that come with some larger baits cause they got small plastic tray inside - convenient. also the baits don't bend too much inside when in a tray. As a bonus, such ziplocks with trays can withstand hooks too, so sometimes I just store a bunch of jigheads with baits on in them for quick snapping.
Doesn't look like the sidio is waterproof tho. I like it as the home Depot tuperware being rounded all over does have an impact on storage. Would this fit into a boat tho? Say a Tracker or ranger? Plan on doing final research on one over winter and buy next year. But hate buying stuff that will work in one situation and not others. If this would fit tackle wells on a boat it's solid to me
Man y’alls videos are awesome. I looked at Sidio’s for a long time after this video but just don’t have a good place to store it in my Lure 11.5. Weird question, but do y’all have any extra KVD Speedbags you would want to sell? I’ve been looking for months and have only picked one up 2nd hand. Wanting to find a few of the “40-double” and the “20-single”.
Love the video. I, too, am aggressively average and need to downsize. I'm a bank angler mostly but looking to pull the trigger on a yak. Here in Delaware the waterways are skinny and a yak is perfect! P. S. Paul is a motormouth! 🤣 Slow down and breath !
I definitely bought them before the end of the video where you said maybe go with a different option. I still think they will be awesome storage for extra plastics in the garage.
I had to unsubscribe just so I can throat punch it back!!!!! Lol. Another great review, I’m definitely going to get a sidio crate. Never knew that they were around! Thanks guys!
I think y’all might have given some good information on this video but for most of it I couldn’t understand what you idiots where saying because you two were talking over each other so much I couldn’t hear either of you. Take turns speaking!!
How do you store your plastics? What has worked or not worked?

I for one love my kvd Plano bags. Don’t know. They do what I need them to do lol

Great stuff! Thanks for videos. Have a good one 👍
Dang this is awesome information! Just picked up my first fishing kayak. Subscribed to you!
Heck yeah!

Causing problems lol

That vid drops Monday. Kickstand down may be tight but should fit

It's a never ending process!
I am a bank fisherman so I grab what I need and throw it in a ziplock. But to store in my closet I get the large ziplocks and then put them in a Sterilite tub and a printer box.
I really like that Sidio crate! Can't fit it in my Hobie Compass unfortunately (at least not along with my h crate).
Yeah, unfortunately reserved for snorlax sized yaks

Love it, it's an exclusive club, but we are glad you're in it with us!

Wish we did! They seem to have discontinued them
@@aaanglers that’s what I’m seeing too. Late to the game on this one. Keep up the awesome videos boys! Love it.

@Telegram Me 🖇Burlyfishing I won?! Hot damn! Thanks Jeff and Paul!
@Telegram Me 🖇Burlyfishing this is a BOT isn't it?
I hav found with the kvd bags if u store plastics with salt the zippers rust
FYI some jerk bought the rest of those flambeau boxes on Amazon. It was me, I am that jerk…
Bahaha
I definitely bought them before the end of the video where you said maybe go with a different option. I still think they will be awesome storage for extra plastics in the garage.
Have you used any of the z man bags?
Yeah, they're not bad but I need more flexibility on bag shape
Will it fit under the seat on a hobie PA 14?
That’s where I have mine
I just use the large ziplock bags.
2 gallon zip lock bags
They work!
You can easily use cardboard and a hot glue gun and attach semi-permanent dividers in the big plastic bins.
I had to unsubscribe just so I can throat punch it back!!!!! Lol. Another great review, I’m definitely going to get a sidio crate. Never knew that they were around! Thanks guys!
🍻🙌🙌🙌
What's his problem with KVD?
i thought i brought a lot of stuff till y’all called yourselves a 7 and you bring 5 worm bags
We have issues
Glad I’m not the only one that has tried nearly every option but still can’t find the “perfect” solution 🤣
I think y’all might have given some good information on this video but for most of it I couldn’t understand what you idiots where saying because you two were talking over each other so much I couldn’t hear either of you. Take turns speaking!!

Wait, did we just get schooled by a raccoon?
@@aaanglers happens weekly
Other than that you guys are doing an awesome job. Keep up the good work.
