  • Super Bowl 43 is one of the greatest games in NFL history. The Steelers and Cardinals gave us a roller coaster of emotions which ended with a Santonio Holmes catch that will live forever in NFL lore. Or did it? I guess you'll have to watch to find out.

Seeing Fitz win one and Warner winning his 3rd would have been something special. That postseason, it really felt like (even if the rest of the team did) Larry REALLY deserved to win the whole thing. Most receiving touchdowns in a single post season in NFL history is no joke of a record and a Lombardi on top of that would have capped it all off so nicely. It's a shame that never came to be.

Exactly right about Holmes missing catch on previous play. Which means Roethlisberger actually threw 2 game winning passes. He should have got MVP. That final drive was after a safety on a hold and bad defense on an underneath pass. Then they get penalty to start 1st and 20. Roethlisberger was unshakeable.

I remember seeing it in real time I said “no way he caught that in bounds” and then I saw the slomo replay and I said “I’ll be damned”. That was unreal. I’m glad I got to see the Steelers win it all. Honestly as a lifelong Cardinals fan there has been so much misery. Having loosing season after loosing season until that magical season where we made the super bowl. I honestly thought that when Fitz scored at the end that my Cardinals were about to win their First Super Bowl. The most painful moment of my life was when I saw the replay of Holmes’s catch and saw his toes were barely in. Then after that we had an ok season the year after and a few more loosing seasons then we finally had a team. The best game I’ve ever seen is the Packers vs the Cardinals. When Rodgers tied the game on a Hail Mary I honestly fell on the floor because I was so damn shocked. That catch and run by Fitz was incredible to witness and that was an amazing win. The loss to the panthers was really difficult to swallow but we will be back someday. We just need to stay loyal and our time will come!

    - 2017 Morgan Williams buzzer beater for Miss St to break the Uconn 111 game win streak in the NCAAW final four
    - 2016 WNBA finals game 5 between arch rivals Minnesota Lynx and LA Sparks for a last second win in amazing shootout of a final game
    - 2016 ALDS game 5 Jose Bautista with the iconic batflip to seal the Blue Jays series in an insane 7th inning
    - 2011 Womens World Cup final, Japan come back to equalize twice and win in PK's over the USWNT
    - 2005 Liverpools miracle in Istanbul comeback against euro heavyweights AC Milan in Champions League final
Granted some of these may be a little too recent to do right now but those are some of my favorite sporting moments and I think would bring a good variance to this already amazing series :)
