Wow, I could bury my piggy little face in that for sure! hahaha I'd want to add some green and yellow peppers and maybe some unsalted cashews. Extra healthy points! You're such a creative and good cook :) Thank you, Andy! X
Andy a little tip,mix your cornflour with cold water, mix till a smooth paste,if you put it into hot liquid dry it will usually clump up,and not thicken properly.Glad you enjoyed your meal.
Nice one Andy a cheap and simple tasty slow cooker recipe just one suggestion here mate have you ever used those taj frozen garlic/ginger blocks from asda/morrisons etc. They cost just over a £1 a bag they contain no additives🙂 I use them in all my curries etc it takes all the grief of that peeling crushing😁 p.s i would probably add some ginger to your wonderful recipe but thats just my opinion😉
I could not and you did not say which it was light or dark soya sauce. but I used sauces recipes and they all had if you use 2 light soya you put in 1 dark soya. no matter what your other items are in the sauce. the honey will help it stick to the chicken better and it will colour when cooking if you were putting it in the oven to cook. the spring onions normally go in to the meal 5 min before the end to keep colour and still be crunchy. how much power does your slow cooker use for 5 hrs. even knowing the wattage may help to work out cooking costs. you can have the rice you had , or put it with noodles either. but it is easy and more people should try it.
Hi mate sorry dark soy sauce, the power side I have no idea, the slow cooker must be at 15 years old, it was Christmas present, we have only been using it a couple of years, no idea of the wattage, sorry I can’t help anymore 👍🏻
I could literally taste that mate, 'cos the mix is very close to that Chinese rib marinade recipe that I posted. But those drummers looked lush Andy, and a bangin' bargain too💥!
Thanks
